Okay, I'm going to continue the story here.

I watched, horrified, as the Slytherins Stunned James.
As they left, with that horrible Selwyn girl in the rear, I stood up.
I couldn't believe they hadn't noticed me, but that's the advantage of being small and having a darker complexion than most. Albus started to say something, but I warned him, " Be quiet. If you let them know that I'm in here too, then my surprise attack won't work." He nodded, sensing my grim intentions towards them. Good.
"Belinda Selwyn, you will pay for this." I said, as I sent a jinx at her back. ( one of the ones I invented, too) She whirled around, barely dodging my jinx. " Lorena," she sneered, " you will never defeat me again." " You only wish." I neatly deflected a hex from her, sending it back so she had to dodge it or be hit. "I challenge you to a duel, next weekend." "Done". I smiled inwardly. I had some tricks down my sleeve that she wouldn't be able to forget in a hurry. She left, glancing back at me suspiciously.
I instantly hurried to check on James and the other girl. He was starting to come to, but the girl wasn't so lucky. "Looks like she'll have to go straight to the infirmary." I murmured to myself, noting her injuries. Oh well.
At least I was almost certain that I would defeat Selwyn in the duel. I smiled grimly to myself. She would not cross me or my friends for a while, at least.

"Mighty cocky, isn't she?" asked Drusilla mildly as we left.
"Mm. Can't underestimate her though, she has a nasty habit of making up spells that work," I said. "You'll be my second, of course?"
"Naturally," said the fifth-year with a laugh, tossing her black hair loftily. She grinned.
"Wonder who she'll bring... if any."
"What, the Lorena girl again?" asked Oliver, coming up beside us as we reentered our compartment.
"Yeah," I said with a laugh.
"She challenged you to another duel? You think she'd get bored at some point."
"Who can fathom the mind of a Mudblood?" asked Drusilla. "I certainly can't."
"How'd she beat you the first time anyway?"
I shrugged. "A mistake. I underestimated her. She got me with a new hex - presumably she created it. Caught me off guard. Like what happened to Bellatrix Lestrange."
Drusilla turned to Oliver. "You owe me a galleon," she said, holding out her hand. Oliver began to rummage around in his pockets.
"What?" I asked.
Oliver retrieved a galleon and handed it over. "We bet. She thought we wouldn't even get to Hogwarts before dragging your idol into conversation."
"Ha, ha," I said, glaring at his wide grin. "Very funny."

Touchy, touchy.
1. To quote Bellatrix Lestrange: "Blood-traitor is next to Mudblood in my book." Your character consorts with Muggle-borns; that makes you a blood-traitor in the eyes of my characters. They don't care enough to differentiate the terms, that's all.
2. Would someone who doesn't care about blood status be so angry about the slip? I dun think so.
3. Caps = shouting. I don't appreciate being shouted at, thanks very much.
4. "I AM A PURE-BLOOD! NOT A MUGGLE BORN! GAH!" =/= rant.

Oh, sorry. I was in a bad mood at the moment, and not really thinking straight. And the person using the computer before me had left it in caps lock and I didn't quite notice it.
