Fablehaven
Fablehaven is a...

Fablehaven is a bizarre fantasy series written by Brandon Mull.  It's mostly about two kids, Kendra and Seth, whose grandfather runs a fairy preserve. Eventually, they discover a plot to free ancient demos from a prison and many characters try to stop them. There are 4 books now, and one coming soon. The four out now are Fablehaven, Rise of the Evening Star, Grip of the Shadow Plague, and Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary. There are manymany characters and I'm going to post a breif cast list, with my awesomeness ratings 1 to 10 (1 is lowest). (Koffee reads these books, and can vouch for their awesomeness.)

Oh yeah, Fablehaven. That was what we were originally discussing, wasn't it.

I think that FH 5 is coming out in late March... yeah, I just Googeld it. March 23, 2010. That's good, as it will give me a huge amount of time to finsh the 4th one. Which one is your favorite so far? I'd have to say the 3rd one, but they're all about even to me.

Brandon Mull came to my school! I liked his other book, the Candy Shop War, but found Fablehavan, well, not exactly to my liking. I find the fact that Grandmother used to be a chicken extremely... disturbing.

Lucky! And you liked TCSW more than Fablehaven? I vastly prefered Fablehavem, although that was mainly because Nate is so irritating...

Yes. Extremely lucky! I agree with Mary Liz; I much prefered FH to CSW, but both were excellent. As for Ruth Sorenson being a chicken in the first book, well, I don't think that takes away from the books being excellent. It adds to the plot, actuallly. Have you read the rest of the series, Katie?

I may or may not've read TCSW... if I have, I don't remember, which means that I couldn't've liked it an awful lot... Eh. Maybe I didn't.

@ Katie: Well, it's really only a small plot thread... I dunno if they even mention it in the rest of the books.

Though I certainly agree it was a tad disturbing at some points...
