Gifted kids?

Gifted kids?

Gifted kids?

I'm gifted and it's rough. I don't always understand things, because they aren't worded in the most logical way. On this one standardized test, I got a B- because they used a "Best answer" system instead of having ONE correct answer. I see things differently. I used to doodle because class bored me, but I overcame that habit (mostly. Not perfect yet). I often slump, or find myself falling asleep. Fortunately I only fell asleep once.

So are there any other gifted kids? I might say who I am if there are. Sure, you can make guesses. Don't feel shy.

I'm gifted. I can't work at a normal pace because it's too slow for me. so, we had to switch to homeschool. It's been hard on my dad because he's actually the teacher - nothing else worked. It also stinks for me because I'm isolated all day. That's why I only have like 2 friends.

I'm gifted too - I'm a freshman when I'm supposed to be in eighth grade. I usually just tell people that I'm in a year above because of the birthday cut-off thing, because I don't want to seem like I'm bragging, but I know you guys won't judge me.

I'm not trying to be prideful, but:

I'm a straight A's student in every subject since pretty much first grade.

The lowest grade I've ever gotten is a 75.

My GPA Is a 3.8 to 3.9 out of 4.0

Out of 40 kids my age I got a lead role in a drama club, getting 20 more lines than anyone else.

I ALSO JUST GOT AN HONORABLE MENTION IN THE CRICKET FANTASY ART CONTEST. *giggles*, If you have the digital edition, look for Rose G, Honorable mention of 11 and up category

I'm 3/4 of the way done with my first BOOK, like an actual book

Yeah, I'm trying to follow in the footsteps of Leonardo Da Vinci...

I am, I just get distracted too easily. I am on my tablet more than doing work because I'm bored; hopefully going to a school will help me overcome that.

Well, there isn't a gifted program at my school since I'm homeschooled, but I skipped second grade so I think that's considered gifted... ;)

Not to brag of course.

Um, I really do not mean to brag. But... Well.. um, I may be the top student in my class. I think most people would agree. Also, I'm in the G&T (Gifted and Talented) group in my school. I don't know what my lowest grade was... a 65?

Umm... yeah... *blushes and stands awkwardly*

Not a public school student, and I don't want to sound like I'm bragging - which I'm not - but if you mean "do I think most of my school work is easy" then yeah. I'm homeschooled and at my co-op, I mostly find the high school classes easy - or, I am able to easily follow along, unlike the seniors in the class. I'm in eighth. The kids at co-op are surprised to find that I'm not at least a freshman or junior. Being tall and having an acne farm as a face doesn't exactly help them thinking I'm older. But, yeah. Home is where I'm really challenged. Algebraic equasions . . . oh, boy.

I'm in the gifted program. I guess since 1st-2nd grade. Not boasting but I have been one of the smartest kids in my classes from kindergarten to 5th grade. (I go to an advanced middle school, wher everyone is the same, intelligence-wise.) My parents make me maintain a 4.0, I also try to make all my overall class grades over 97-98 percent.

I guess gifted is normally fun, but is sometimes VERY stressful.
