Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Writing game!

Writing game!
This isn't like normal writing contests, where we write entire stories to be judged. In this contest, judges will pick a word (Example: Shame) and then people will write a maximum of two sentences describing that word (Example: The cold, teary, harsh feeling biting at my insides as I tell my piano teacher, "I didn't practice.") The judge will pick three of the best, and each of the three will get one point. At the end, the person with the most points wins.
Another example:
Word: Blue
Entry: The soft, light, dreamlike state lifting you up from your dreams and into the waking world.
Entry: The deep, deep hue of the sky, stretching it's wonders above my head.
Yet another example:
Word: Book
Entry: Golden gates to infinite worlds, the highest mountains, the deepest seas. They sit, living, breathing, just waiting to be opened, to fly and soar.

The golden wax, as it poured  onto the envelope, and then stamped into an intricate pattern. To seal a very important invitation to a ski lodge.

Seals~

Brave men and woman alike who conquer fear as well as harshly drill and train to protect our elegant country's freedom so families can spend Christmas together in jovial altercation.

I feel like this is a good sentence, although not too descriptive.

Seal~

A dark shape slips through the water, droplets shedding its back like a feather. Erupting from the ocean, it crashes on the ice, a limp, scaled fish clasped in its jaws.

They play, the little sea dogs, laughing like children. Cuter than kittens and sleek in the sea.

Xiaotuzi says xuue. That's my name! Xue!

The bonds of wax that ensure the safe passage of one mortal's thoughts so that they may be annexed to the mind of another.

A warm, shiny, wonderfully old-fashioned badge poured meticulously onto a message, preserving the precious insides while upholding the honor of communication, that thing so forgotten about that nowadays the only badge in sight is the yellow glowing circle-face on my phone screen.

Seals

Animals so graceful that they seem one with the water, like their spirits have merged with that of the swirling sea.

Molten, burgundy liquid, in an intriquite design on the malina envelope, protecting the precious words concealed inside from the hungry eyes of others, dry quickly into a crisp, official shield.

We spoke one word and our lives were changed forever. We entered into a lifelong commitment that nothing but death could break.

Okay! Sorry! here's my entry-

Seals~

A beautiful animal swimming through the water, its smooth and glossy skin allowing it to dart through the ocean at lighting speed. As it hops back onto the shore with a small squid in its mouth, the seal tears into its dinner, its hunger finally satisfied.
