This isn't like normal writing contests, where we write entire stories to be judged. In this contest, judges will pick a word (Example: Shame) and then people will write a maximum of two sentences describing that word (Example: The cold, teary, harsh feeling biting at my insides as I tell my piano teacher, "I didn't practice.") The judge will pick three of the best, and each of the three will get one point. At the end, the person with the most points wins.
Another example:
Word: Blue
Entry: The soft, light, dreamlike state lifting you up from your dreams and into the waking world.
Entry: The deep, deep hue of the sky, stretching it's wonders above my head.
Yet another example:
Word: Book
Entry: Golden gates to infinite worlds, the highest mountains, the deepest seas. They sit, living, breathing, just waiting to be opened, to fly and soar.

Stretching over timeless generations, it is the power one holds in their mind and spirit that influence the youngest of minds. It will carry the human kind and support it for as long as we strive for knowledge, beauty and enlightenment.

Education
A gateway to a new world, a higher world; a world in which to skills we were born with are finely tuned to our advantage. Education, like a feather to a cat, causes us to stretch our paws higher to our goals.
Speaking of cats, my post addressed to Katy and Joss about losing kitties got published in the magazine! I got so excited when I saw it. Thanks, Admins, Editors, and CBers!

This mountain a steep climb, and however much they toil it seems the riches of wisdom at its crest are unreachable, until the struggling masses realize one by one that on every bush, in every stream, and clinging to every delicate spiderweb shuddering from the tread of their heavy boots the little golden dewdrops are the wealth they are truly searching for.

Education:
It is a golden pillar of critical mindfulness and acute truths atop which people who were born in the right place at the right time sit. It is beautiful, an enlightening gift, which unfortunately is not freely given to everyone.
