Writing game! 
This isn't like normal writing contests, where we write entire stories to be judged. In this contest, judges will pick a word (Example: Shame) and then people will write a maximum of two sentences describing that word (Example: The cold, teary, harsh feeling biting at my insides as I tell my piano teacher, "I didn't practice.") The judge will pick three of the best, and each of the three will get one point. At the end, the person with the most points wins.
Another example:
Word: Blue
Entry: The soft, light, dreamlike state lifting you up from your dreams and into the waking world.
Entry: The deep, deep hue of the sky, stretching it's wonders above my head.
Yet another example:
Word: Book
Entry: Golden gates to infinite worlds, the highest mountains, the deepest seas. They sit, living, breathing, just waiting to be opened, to fly and soar.

Happiness: The warm, blue-yellow feeling of family, animals, chocolate and sunsets.

It starts in your toes and flows up to your head, making you smile and hug the people you care about.

My entry:

Like biting into a bursting pastry, filled with tantalizing scents and tastes, happiness is the warm, soft glow filling us all, inspiring forlorn souls to reah for greater heights. It is the stoic, brilliant white pillars of which human emotion have rested upon, the song of a silver bird in the spreading branches of our hearts.

The indulgence of chocolate, pajamas, and libraries, the joy of just-right weather, trampolines, and singing, the comfort of family, cats, and friends, and most of all the solace of dreams and understanding.
