Would you survive

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Would you survive

Would you survive a ski lodge in real life? Are you clever, inconspicuous, and lucky enough to find out who the murderer is before you are murdered? Take this short quiz and find out!

(FYI a ski lodge is an activity on the CB where someone, usually under an alias, writes a story where the CBers in it are murdered one at a time and those who remain guess who killed them.)

Read carefully and answer honestly; your life depends on it!

1. You flip a coin. How likely is it to be in your favor?

a. I usually win these sorts of things

b. I usually lose these sorts of things

c. Six of one, half dozen of the other

d. I don't really keep track of these things

2. You're stranded on top of a church tower. The door down is locked and it's getting dark. There is a house nearby, but you recently stole something from its owner. What do you do? (bonus points if you know where this came from!)

a. I go to sleep. Someone will find me in the morning.

b. I scream for help. Maybe I can talk my way out of the theft.

c. I try to find a way to climb down.

d. I cry.

3. You're playing mafia/murder in the dark/body-body/another such game (games where one person is the "murderer" and has to be guessed). What do you act like?

a. I just act normally. It's only a game.

b. I stay out of the way and watch everyone else.

c. I act nervously and seem guilty whether I am or not.

d. I'm usually the first one killed.

4. Continuing on that scenario, let's say the murderer has been determined by drawing randomly from a deck of cards, and you have a moment alonew ith your best friend before the game. You are not the murderer. What do you do?

a. I show them my card

b. I ask to see their card

c. I make a show of hiding my card

d. I talk about something different

6. You're at an exclusive preview of a carnival with some friends. What are you looking forward to?

a. Exploring a new place

b. Having fun

c. Getting to know my friends

d. Getting out alive

6. Continuing on the same scenario, while you're off doing something else, one of your friends dies suddenly. It seems likely to have been a murder, but the only people who could have killed them are the rest of your friends. What do you do?

a. I try to be like Sherlock Holmes and examine all the evidence

b. I cry profusely

c. I mourn their loss, but it was probably just an accident.

d. I slink into the shadows...

7. After someone else dies in that same scenario, everyone else starts suspecting that YOU did it! What do you do?

a. I'm shocked

b. I act mildly surprised and tell them there must be some mistake

c. I try desperately to talk my way out of it and prove my innocence

d. I cry

8. How do you trust people?

a. If they act trustworthy

b. If they can keep a secret

c. If they're my friends

d. I don't

9. What type of murder would scare you the most?

a. Something that came out of nowhere

b. Something that hurt terribly

c. Something I could have prevented

d. Who would want to murder me of all people?

I will tell you how long you survive a ski lodge in real life!

You are very intelligent and loyal, but sometimes not as careful as you might be. When going swimming in a lake, you journey to a shady part of it without paying much mind. You are killed by an electric eel which is connected to the murderer... somehow. You last two days.

However, don't let this dissuade you from joining a ski lodge; it's not guaranteed to be accurate! Besides they almost always determine who dies randomly.

You're quick-witted and alert, managing to elude the murderer's suspicions while gathering evidence as to who they are. You are pretty sure who the murderer is when you see that person (Lilypad, maybe ? ;) coming outside. You quickly climb a tall tree nearby, and go to one of the top branches, when CRACK! it breaks under your weight and you fall to your death... no idea how the murderer set up that one. You last twelve days.

You know, I should write this ski lodge now! Except we already know what will happen...

You're intelligent and friendly, but sometimes don't pay enough attention. When watching an amazing new movie you don't notice that the person behind you is poisoning your popcorn! You survive five days.

1. You flip a coin. How likely is it to be in your favor?

b. I usually lose these sorts of things (or so it seems to me.)

2. You're stranded on top of a church tower. The door down is locked and it's getting dark. There is a house nearby, but you recently stole something from its owner. What do you do? (bonus points if you know where this came from!)

c. I try to find a way to climb down.

(I can't help it! XD)

4. Continuing on that scenario, let's say the murderer has been determined by drawing randomly from a deck of cards, and you have a moment alonew ith your best friend before the game. You are not the murderer. What do you do?

d. I talk about something different

6. You're at an exclusive preview of a carnival with some friends. What are you looking forward to?

d. Getting out alive
To be honest, it scares me that they dismantle those carnival rides only to put them back together again every year.

6. Continuing on the same scenario, while you're off doing something else, one of your friends dies suddenly. It seems likely to have been a murder, but the only people who could have killed them are the rest of your friends. What do you do?

d. I slink into the shadows...
(To hide from potential murderers, of course.)

7. After someone else dies in that same scenario, everyone else starts suspecting that YOU did it! What do you do?

c. I try desperately to talk my way out of it and prove my innocence

8. How do you trust people?

a. If they act trustworthy
(But that doesn't mean they are!)

9. What type of murder would scare you the most?

c. Something I could have prevented
Because all my worst fears are preventable! Aha! (For instance, not going to a ski lodge in the first place?) XD

You're observant, smart, and very careful. However, you can't see every possible misfortune before it comes. When passing under a beautiful crystal chandelier, the chain suddenly snaps and the apparatus falls directly on top of you! You survive eight days.

c, but I cry a LOT.

3 c. I ADORE acting in character and do it shamelessly and in whichever way I wish.

4

c. But I would love to do b if it's not against the rules.

5

d. I don't trust these scenarios. But I do enjoy spending time with my few friends and want to protect them from these instances.

6.

A, but with a lot of mourning and tears.

7

c, and I would mention a bunch of reasons and promise to keep everyone safe. I would also cry while doing so.

8

A. I love my friends but I don't trust all of them, so this.

9

c

Great idea!

You are a good friend but keep your own safety in mind. However, afraid you're onto them, the murderer contrives a devious scheme. When admiring an antique tractor show, one of them suddenly roars to life and runs you down! You survive for five days.

I do not understand your side note about commenting six months ago... did I miss your first post or something? Sorry if so.

Anyway, you're brave, smart, and cautious. However, the murderer is worried about those very same qualities. When opening an interesting-looking book on entymology (or etymology??), a deadly insect springs out at you. You last seven days.
