A fire crackles merrily in a stone fireplace, illuminating the cabin living room with gentle golden warmth. Facing it at eager angles are pillows and fluffy blankets, as well as oaken rocking chairs. Upon the hearth sits a bag of marshmallows accompanied by roasting sticks, graham crackers, and chocolate, as well as a couple of old dusty books. Many a story has been shared here at the hearth, as will many a story more...
Welcome to the coziest place in the Chatterbox! This is the place for sharing stories and memories. I thought it would be neat for newer CBers to hear about what the CB was like before they joined...Older CBers can reminisce together, curious CBers can ask questions, and anyone who has a story should tell it!

Puck bounded in, with a huge smile on her face. All the CBers looked up from what they were doing.
"Puck!" Joan said quietly, so only Puck would hear. "What are you doing here?"
"Chillax Joan. I'm only here to share some stories too. They didn't say that AEs weren't allowed, right?"
Joan sighed, but reluctantly agreed.
"Alright then." Puck said as she cartwheeled twice, then bounced into a chair near the fire.
"Listen up. As you all heard from Joan, the first time I started to have a crush on Devil Owl was when we started up a prank war together. *sigh* Those were the good days. I haven't stopped having a crush on him since.
Anyways. So... back then, once the "AE crush war" started, (it wasn't really a war, but it was a huge thing back then...) I was super popular. I had 3 boys chasing after me. *sighs* *has a dreamy look in her eyes* *shakes her head and blushes embarassed*
Sorry. Anyways, there were a bunch of AEs having crushes on each other. I personally think it was one of the best times of my life! We had so much fun!
(Sidenote: most of the drama we have had here on the CB is because of our AEs. Have you ever noticed that?)

Joan sat back after listening to Puck tell her story.
"I've got some more stories, but what I'm going to tell you next is just memories about when I first joined the CB, and some memories about some of my favorite RPs and threads I joined.
One of them is about a thread created earlier. It was called "Remade Real RP.'
It was a really fun thread. In it, we, as the CBers, questioned "what would happen, if our AEs were real, and appeared in our room? And what if we became our own CBer?"
We decided on a place in the RP to meet, and then it began. It lasted for only a couple pages, but I thought it was really great. Here's the link:

Another one of my favorite threads was a poetry club thread made by Elana O. aka Owlgirl. You'll probably meet her when she comes back on Valentine's day next year. It was my very first thread I joined on the CB. I joined as "Aubrey L.," (I believe it's ok if we just share our first name and last name initial, correct Admins?)
We delved deep into some of the poems, and then created our own based on a theme we created after studying the poem in depth. This is the link:

The final thread is something that I think you younger CBers would like to read. The above threads are good too, but this thread is an old compliment thread. It talks about compliments given to some of the older CBers. I think this might help you guys for knowing just a little bit about the older CBers, so that you may know something about them when, and if, they come back on Valentine's day next year.

"I'll probably tell more later. Some of my memories, like Icy's memories of the CB are not as good as these memories. They make us sad, because they bring up memories we would rather forget. But I believe that we need to learn about the past, no matter how much it hurts, so tha we don't make the same mistakes in the future."

"Wow!" she said. "I just read through the Remade Real RP, and it was really cool! Would anyone be interested in trying that again?"

The Remade Real RP! I made that, it was so much fun! At that time, I hadn't started calling Critic "A" yet, Mandy was literally brand new, and I hadn't even created Hobbes... Dang. Wow. That was a super fun RP, I might want to remake that someday!
And I remember that compliment thread! I wrote, like, pages and pages of compliments on that one. It was really fun and everyone was so sweet. If you told me that was, like, four months ago I probably would've believed you, it's pretty crazy that it's been 2 years. :P

Me too! It might be confusing since I based Izzy off of my real life self down to the last bone so that might be a fun element. Waking up to myself standing over me and suddenly I'm a guy? Yeah, that might be the weirdest day of my life.
