Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Quiz Time! S

Quiz Time!

So, here we go. Lots of random questions because I am in a bored mood.

1) What are you wearing?

2) Who else is in the room with you?

3) What is the closest red thing to you? (Note: The red things on your screen don't count.)

4) What other tabs/windows do you have on, and what is on them?

5) Close your eyes. Silently count to five. What is the first identifiable sound you hear?

6) Take the book closest to you. Go to page 23. Find the 32nd word from the bottom of the page. What is the book's title, and the word. (If it is inappropriate, go for the word after or before it.)

7) What was the song you last listened to? (Someone else singing, not yourself singing)

8) If you were ruler of the world/a country what laws would you make?

9) If you could choose a new name for yourself, what would it be, and why?

10) If you were going to spend one year on a desert isaland, what three things would you bring and why?

My answers:

1) What are you wearing? Jeans, Grey butterfly shirt with colored sparkles, a purple jacket, and white ankle socks. My hair is in a pony tail with a blue holder.

 2) Who else is in the room with you and what are they doing? My youngest sister, who is . . . coloring on the couch.

 3) What is the closest red thing to you? (Note: The red things on your screen don't count.) Either Donald Duck's mittens, or the red tulips on the mouse pad.

 4) What other tabs/windows do you have on, and what is on them? Just a homepage and YouTube.

 5) Take off any earphones. Close your eyes. Silently count to five. What is the first identifiable sound you hear? Jingle of my sister's purse. She's moving out of the living room.

 6)
Take the book closest to you. Go to page 23. Find the 32nd word from
the bottom of the page. What is the book's title, and the word. (If it
is inappropriate, go for the word after or before it.)

 7) What was the song you last listened to? (Someone else singing, not yourself singing) Disney's Frozen song "Let It Go" in twenty five languages. On or two verses per language.

 8) If a genie would give you only one wish, which would you pick? To have another ten wishes. Bwahaha!

 9) If you could choose a new name for yourself, what would it be, and why? I'm perfectly satisfied with my name, thank you, but if I must choose, then . . . Eve. Sweet, simple, and I'm already used to it, as it is my "name" in French class.

 10) If you were going to spend one year on a desert isaland, what three things would you bring and why? Endless supply of water, because otherwise I would be dead long before a month would be up. A Swiss Army Knife, so I can cut things. Clothes, because mine will wear out soon.

You forgot to give us your answer to number 6, about the book.

1. Tank top, shorts, coral-colored converse and my watch.

2. I'm at the library, and there are a few other teenagers at the computers around me.

3. The carpet is a bright red. Not stylish.

4. All Cricket tabs.

5. Someone sniffed nearby.

6. The book is "The Mystery of the Blue Train" by Agatha Christie and the word is "open."

7. Rixton's "Me and My Broken Heart" on the radio.

8. Because this is something completely out of my control, I'd wish for the Phoenix Suns basketball team to make the Playoffs next year, and maybe win... (Yes, I'm a fan, yes, I know it's a stupid wish. But everything else I want I can foreseeably arrange for myself: seeing Titanic, getting a story published, etc.). Okay, I've just realized how shallow my wishes are in general. *headdesk*

9. I quite like my name, but it would be so cool if people could call me Everinne for real.

10. I am not answering this, mostly because I could never choose.

1: Dark t-shirt, gray jeans

2: Nobody, I'm in my room.

3: Homemade lip gloss that I made with my friends. I have never used it.

4: A google search for The Blood of Olympus cover (it is OUT!!! Just check Rick Riordans  blog) and other google search for the last School for Good and Evil name, a google search for Juliet Butler, Rick Riordans blog, a Wikepedia definition for boarding school (for my novel) a link to how to keep your apple charger from fraying, and I think that's it. I have a lot of tabs.

5: My brother opening his door

6: Almost. The book is The Sorcerer's Companion.

7: Probably a Disney song. Probably Let it Go

8: Umm... I'd be a terrible ruler. So can I not answer that?

9:  How about Jenna. Ooo! Wait! Better one! Annabeth! I think most of you know why!

10: I would bring a book, a book, and a friend?

1) What are you wearing?

A purple swim suit top and black bottoms, with a navy blue and white checked strapless dress. I have lime green sunglasses on top of my head.

2) Who else is in the room with you?

My mom and aunt just left, and my two cats are still here.

3) What is the closest red thing to you? (Note: The red things on your screen don't count.)

The spine of a book call "The Wit and Wisdom of Mark Twain"

4) What other tabs/windows do you have on, and what is on them?

My email

5) Close your eyes. Silently count to five. What is the first identifiable sound you hear?

A leaf blower and my mom and aunt talking

6) Take the book closest to you. Go to page 23. Find the 32nd word from the bottom of the page. What is the book's title, and the word. (If it is inappropriate, go for the word after or before it.)

Multi-millionare, and the book is the same Mark Twain one I mentioned earlier.

7) What was the song you last listened to? (Someone else singing, not yourself singing)

Hmm, probably A Thousand Years by Christina Perri

8) If you were ruler of the world/a country what laws would you make?

Everyone has to read Harry Potter, watch Merlin, Doctor Who and Once Upon a Time! Just kidding! Probably something really average, like peace, or everyone being the same, not rich or poor.

9) If you could choose a new name for yourself, what would it be, and why?

Either Ivy because I feel connected to it from here, or something off my very long list of favorite names.

10) If you were going to spend one year on a desert isaland, what three things would you bring and why?

Unlimited food and water, and a solor powered iPad with unlimited wifi of data (I don't there's such  thing!). The reason for food and water should be obvious, and the iPad because I could read, watch movies, write and come on here.

1) What are you wearing? Weeeell, my Mom just came into the room with some old clothes of hers that are now mine, so: purple, purple, red, and pink striped tights, a patched gypsy skirt I made myself for a halloween costume once, a really pretty faded-red dress with tie-dyeish patterns on it (yes, OVER the skirt!), a pretty blue loose-fitting shirt with embroidery and tiny mirrors in the embroidery, and a pink dress-up scarf tied around my waist. I'm not sure whether I will change into something more practical today or not....

2) Who else is in the room with you? No one, it's too early in the day for my brother and sister to burst into my room and tell me I have to DO SOMETHING yet...

3) What is the closest red thing to you? (Note: The red things on your screen don't count.) My lovely new dress from Mom.

4) What other tabs/windows do you have on, and what is on them? the paint.net (a sort of really good paint program like photoshop or GIMP, but FREE) forums, specifically "creations", the weather station forecast website, and it looks like a chance of thunderstorms...., a "new tab" that I haven't decided what to do with yet, and my online course assignment for this week.

5) Close your eyes. Silently count to five. What is the first identifiable sound you hear? Birds chirping and my Mom clearing her throat.

6) Take the book closest to you. Go to page 23. Find the 32nd word from the bottom of the page. What is the book's title, and the word. (If it is inappropriate, go for the word after or before it.)  The book is Mattimeo, and the word is "Mattimeo's"

7) What was the song you last listened to? (Someone else singing, not yourself singing)  No Idea..... something by Loreena McKennitt, maybe?

8) If you were ruler of the world/a country what laws would you make? Complete and utter peace for all, and government officials have to pass a kindness test...

9) If you could choose a new name for yourself, what would it be, and why? It would be Piper, Skye, or Evelyn. Maybe I could be Evelyn Piper Skye?

10) If you were going to spend one year on a desert island, what three things would you bring and why? Being practical, I'd say a plane complete with enough gas for the return trip and an easy-to-understand control system so I could fly it, plus some food and water. Not being practical, I would say a library of books, my friends and family, and a solar-powered computer with a printer that could get WiFi anywhere.

Ooh, I love quizzes!!!

1) A sleeveless peach shirt and purplely-pink shorts.

2) I'm alone at present.

3) The heart on some St. Valentine's Day treat bags. Strangeness.

4) Award-Winning Paleo Recipies, 73 Paleo Dinner Ideas, and 80 Paleo Breakfast Ideas. Yea, it would appear that Pearl the Healthy has on the computer.

5) The noise from a cooking show on pork chops that my mum is watching.

6) The book is Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, but the particular version has only a sentence per page. So, although I cannot tell you the 32nd word, I can tell you the sentence: 'And then, feeling rather sick, he went to look for some parsley.'

7) Little Bear from the show Little Bear singing the old sailor's song 'Blow the Man Down'.

8) I would make laws concerning topics too contraversial to mention on the CB.

9) Vivian or Violet.

10) As others have said, water and a tarp. But I'd also bring a first aid kit containing the average items and 10 chocolate bars to be eaten *gasps* sparingly.

4. No other tabs are open, unless you count the desktop.

5. My white noise machine.

6. "see" from Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

7. Time Bomb by the Old 97's. I promise this song is not inappropriate, admins.

8. That my imaginary friend would come to life. Yeah, I'm that lonely, but also cuz he's pretty AWESOME.

9. CB name or real name? I actually have a few different identities on the CB, but as for real name... maybe Sidney (after Sidney Crosby) or Alex/Alec.

10. An endless supply of water (I totally copied True), my Kindle Fire (I luv reading), and... a bag of Pretzel Slims so I don't starve. If you don't know what that is, look it up because you really have to try them.

DID I WIN YET?

I hope everyone realized that there are two questions for number 8:

If you were the ruler of a kingdom, what laws would you make?

If a genie would give you a wish, what would you pick?

My answer was for the latter, but it is a little confusing for people to be answering two different questions for the same quiz.

*face palm* I am so sorry about that. I typed in the first of the two questions, and then I realised that that could easily lead to answers that would not meet the CB approperiate range, so I deleted it, and typed up a new question.  ...But I forgot to delete it elsewhere, so now we have two number eights. Sorry, guys.
