TYPEWRITERS!!!

TYPEWRITERS!!!

TYPEWRITERS!!!

Does anyone else find them as awesome as I do? Currently, we just got ours repaired and know everyday I'm up there typing away at my book, which means my diary has been sorely neglected.

Oh, and if anyone cares, our typewriter is a Remington. I LOVE it, but it IS annoying that the '1' is a lowercase 'l' and to make an '!' you have to a period, then backspace and put a hyphen over it. Still, I love it!!!

I was walking around in a town near mine and they actually had decent antique shops! There was a typewriter, Tetera 22 I think, that people were testing. Pretty neat!

I recently got an electric typewriter with need of a new ribbon. I like the old fashioned kind better though. I really love typewriters. I plan on using mine to write letters and learn to type properly. I also got a pocket watch necklace.

People, please not to talk about your vacation homes. It sounds a bit braggy to those of us less fortunate.

Er, I'm a middle-class person. I'm not rich in any way. The house was, well, a sorta miracle to get. We had to paint it, carpet it ourselves, etc. So, in no way, am I a rich person.

Plus... to be honest, I was just talking about it and uh... I'm not feeling too good right now because of my mom's displaced shoulder so that sorta um... hurt, if I may say... don't want to start an argument but yeah...

I wasn't really feeling good that day so I might have sounded a bit stupid. I know you probably think I'm lying or something but really, I'm not an especially rich person or bragging about having a vacation house. So I'm sorry, I won't talk about it anymore if you'd like....

I have two typewriters! They are both electric, though. And by Brother. One of mine can do bold print.  (Which means they are kind of ugly) My friend has a Remington! Personally, I prefer the electric. Only because you do not need to press as hard on the keys to get a nice, readable print. Also, they have "!" keys! Plus, the ink is more widely available. (Online, at least...) Does your typewriter have a case? My friend's does. I am jealous of her for that. The electric typewriters are so bulky.

OMG! I got my grandmas old typewriter for christmas. I use it all the time, but it recently messed up. When Intype, nothing shows up on the paper. Does anyone know how to fix it?

I love my typewriter- it's attached to a suitcase, but you can pop it out to write, and put it back in to carry around.
