Chatterbox: Down to Earth

PETSI wasn't sure

PETS
I wasn't sure where to put this post, but oh well...  What type of pets does everybuggy have?  Any interesting ones?  I have a grumpy old cat named Cat, who hates to be touched, two adorable parakeets named Buddy and B.B., and I used to have two gerbils named Sprite and Pepsi.  (Pepsi was mine and Sprite was my brother's)  Oh, my piano teacher sort of lent me her beautiful canary named Mozart.  My parakeets like him.

No, but I e-mailed a chain letter thing out to all of my friends, and one responded and said that she'll try to convince her mom to let her get her.  She's been sad lately, because her good old black Lab just died.  I think he had a hole in his heart or something.  Anyway, I mentioned that Alice might have fleas, and that was the reason her mom said she couldn't keep her.  I explained that the animal refuge league heals the animals before putting them up for adoption.  I really, really, hope that she'll adopt her!  Please pray that she will!  And, if she doesn't, I would gladly have any of the Mainers on this site take her!  She's at the refuge league in Westbrook!  She's really cute!! :)

Let's see how small the boxes can get!!!

I HOPE that someone will get her for you!!!!:):):) If I lived in Maine, we might even get her, but we live miles and miles away so that's out of the question.:( Sigh. Oh well, someone will probably get her soon!:) I hope that the boxes don't get so small that we can't read them!:):) By the way, I'm going to be 13 in 16 days!!!!!!:):):) YAY!!!!!:):):) I'm SO excited!:)

Okay, we needed a box that was a little bigger, the others were too little.  No, I haven't heard anything about Alice yet, but I'm going to convince my mom to let me go to the animal shelter over the weekend, to see if she's still there.  I want her to have a home by now, but still, I want to see her again!  Maybe they'll let me play with her!  I'll tell you what happens next week!  Oh yeah, my friend is still thinking about buying her!  Oh, I hope she does!  Emily L. who said you almost cried, so sorry to make it so sad, but I have to admit that I cried, too!  Are you the same Emily L. as the one who lives in Washington??

Kimberly!  I AM SO HAPPY!  WE VISITED ALICE TODAY!  She was just as cute as ever! The people took her out and let her sit in my lap!  She was sleepy, so she just fell asleep, but was purring the whole time!  They say that she had already been spayed, so she must have been somebody's pet at one point.  Lately, in Maine, there have been LOTS of cats being abandoned, so we assume that she was one of them.  I don't see how anyone could do that, though...  They say that Alice isn't deaf, but I still think that she is partly deaf.  I tapped on the glass to her cage, and she never noticed me, until a few minutes later she happened to glance over.  There is this cute little hardware store just down the street from where I live, and they always have one cat from the animal shelter for sale there.  They do an amazing job, and about every week there is a different cat there.  The woman who let me play with Alice is the one who chooses which cat to send there, and she said that as soon as the current kitty is sold, she'll send Alice there!  That means that I can ride my bike or walk there to visit her every day!!!!! :):):):):):)  I AM SO HAPPY!!!  Now all I have to do is convice my friend that Cook's hardware store will soon have an adorable, healthy, female tuxedo kitty, if she doesn't get adopted over the weekend!!!  Please pray that she will find a loving home.  Oh yeah, the animal shelter took her home for a day, to see what she was like, and they learned that she didn't like being pet.  So that means that either Alice only likes me, or she loves kids in general.  Please, any Mainers on this site, please adopt her!!  Please!!!
