Dreams.....

Okay, this is weird, but have you ever had

any really weird dreams? Like, once I had

this dream that a white monster behind our

couch was eatting our cat..... I'm not making

that up, really. Alot of the ones I remember

are the creepier ones, and I've had many of

them ;D Anyway, I wanted to know what some

of your weirdest dreams are....And no, this is

not a randomness thread :D

One time I was at a Girl Scout Camp, and in the middle of the night, one of the troupe members said a bunch of random gibberish, woke up, and then asked, "What did I just say?" It was funny. :D

This is a weird dream I had the night after I read The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader* for the 18,000th time:

In the dream, the said book did not exist, instead, there was another book, On Board The Morning Walker, which was almost exactly the same except that it was longer and the names of the characters and places were different. (For example, the boat was the Morning Walker and Lucy had the same name as me, Katie. She acted a lot more like me too). Also, the islands were all different. So I was reading the first chapter when I found out that there was going to be a TV show of it, one episode per chapter. A new episode would come on each week. I decided to read one chapter each week, right before the show came on. While I was watching the first episode, however, I got whisked away somehow into the magical world - at the same time as Howard (essentially Edmund) and Barry (Eustice). The Lucy person was not present, and for some reason everyone thought I was her, so I pretended I was. We were greeted by King Mediterranean (Caspian - they even both have seas for names!)

We got to this empty island with a lake in the middle. I had only read the first chapter of the book, so I didn't know anything about it. We went to the lake to get a drink, when suddenly this woman with long curly golden hair poked her head out of the water. She said that she wasn't human, she was actually from this magical all-female race called the - I don't remember what it's called, so let's just say Nediac - that could breathe water. There were (apparently) 19 other Nediac and their dog-like pets called Labralaks living in the pool. Every Nediacan looked the same, but they were each born wearing different-colored Reebok sneakers and were named after their shoe-color. Since she always wore white sneakers, her name was White Shoes. She told us that the Labralaks expressed their feelings in the exact opposite of the way dogs would; for example, if a Labralak was depressed, the Labralak would smile, wag its tail, etc.

We then left the island for no reason whatsoever and got to a new one, which had one huge building on it with no windows. We entered the building, which proved to be full of giant talking parrots at computers. Looking at their screens, I realized they were all on Google. 4 of them, one for each of us (Mediteranean, Barry, Howard, and me) approached us immediately, but instead of greeting us, they put us in handcuffs and told us we had to be their slaves for eternity. Then they took us to a room full of computers and made us Google a whole bunch of things. We somehow escaped and got back to our boat.

We sailed to another island (this is the last one) and saw another building, which we entered. It was filled with 7-year-olde children playing games (such as catch). We waited for someone to notice us, but they acted as if we weren't there. I went up to a girl and asked what she was doing, but she ignored me. We figured that they were under some sort of enchantment and left the island (though it now seems cruel that we didn't try to help).

We decided we'd had enough of sailing and wanted to go home. When we arrived at the island with the lake (we wanted to say goodbye to White Shoes), White Shoes asked if she could come home with me. She said yes, and we magically teleported to my house. She came to school with me the next day, but at recess, she killed a squirrel. That was when I woke up.

*The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader is one of the Narnia books by C.S. Lewis. If you haven't read it, here are the parts that are important to this dream: Lucy, Edmund, Eustice, and Peter are in the real world when they suddenly get whisked away to a magical one with talking animals, on a boat called the Dawn Treader owned by King Caspian (who is just a boy and also on the ship). They sail to a bunch of undiscovered islands and claim them for Narnia (King Caspian's country). Of course, there's a lot more to the plot than that - it's actually a very good book - but the rest isn't important for this dream.

Wow.  That was um... interesting.  :D :D :D  Very strange.  and funny.  :)

I don't get it, why does everyone but me remember their dreams in such detail??  I mean, sure I remember a lot of them, and sure I remember details in a lot of them, but nothing like those!!!!!  :)

I didn't actually remember what the 'Nediac' were called, but I knew they they called themselves something, and I didn't want to just keep saying 'the women in the lake'... Other than that, well, I guess we just have really good memories for dreams, mostly.

It helps to tell them or write them down as soon as you wake up.

Yah, I started doing that a few weeks ago, when a dream I posted on here didn't show up.

Okay, this isn't a dream, but my mom told me something weird I did in my sleep last night:

I called out 'help,' but faintly, in a way that didn't suggest any real immediate danger, and my mom could tell that there wasn't an emergency, but she was up anyway so she decided to come check on me. And I was sitting, kind of cross-legged, on my bed, and pointing at my blanket. I said, 'Is that my birthday over there?' And the weird thing is that I don't remember any of it! H'm... maybe I was having a nightmare? That the government decided to take my birthday off the calendar? *shudder, shudder*

Heehee! That's funny. My brother sometimes talks in his sleep, and he also sleepwalks. Like one time he was sleepwalking and my dad stopped him right before he snuck into the family room to play video games. LOL :D :D :D
