Does anyone know any good riddles?

I run but never walk

Laugh but don't talk

Have a bed but never sleeps

Have a mouth but never eats.

What am I?

Why is a lady who faints in a mall like a good intention? Because she needs carrying out.

Well, this one was posted a while ago, but I have an answer:

I'm strong enough to surivive a drop from a ten-story building. I can also be run over by a car, 37 steamrollers, and a truck, and still remain intact. And yet the lightest rainfall can be my demise. What am I?

Is it a piece of paper?

Also, Embers: What is a word that has four letters, sometimes has nine, occasionally twelve, then four, rarely has six, and never five

There isn’t really an answer, its just a statement that you have to look at in the right way to make sense of. The word what has four letters, the word sometimes has nine letters, the word occasionally has twelve letters, etc.

And, here’s mine:

A man was sitting in the living room when his wife came in and turned out the light, making the room completely dark. Unconcerned, the man continued reading. How is this possible? (Hint: NO, he does not have night vision).

Yes to both of you!

I feel like I know/I’ve solved so many riddles, but when it comes time to actually tell them I can’t think of any. Maybe it’s because a lot of mine require word play that you can’t write down, you have to say out loud.

I got these from a book about dragons.

Old Mother Twitchet had but one eye, and a long tail that she let fly. And every time she went through a gap, she left a bit of her tail in the trap.

A hill-full, a hole-full, you cannot catch a bowl-full.

And this one you may know:

How is a raven like a writing desk?

Here is a good one:

I am as light as a feather,

but the strongest man cannot hold me for long.
