I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

Also yes. I am definitely having "hanging out with cool violists every day" withdrawal. I did get the orchestra the one about my age goes to (the others were two college students), so if it's a good orchestra (it seems to have some scholarships and a concerto competition, though, so it would probably be good) I'll probably see if I can join. Either way I want an orchestra to play viola in, because I'm going to audition on violin for the other one. Though they might put me on viola. It is a one-hour drive, but that being said, there's another one hour drive my parents are willing to do every week, so if I switched it over... maybe?
Haha, this is long and I haven't even asked my teacher if she knows anything about the orchestra XD Also I'm not just doing this because of one random person I met at an orchestra camp. More experience is always very good, and you have to have been in the orchestra for a year to do the concerto competition or try for any scholarships.

I'm gonna take a "Which Crystal Gem Are You?" quiz as myself and my AEs:
Me: Lapis Lazuli (I don't really like her, but it sort of makes sense)
Chai: Steven (yeah, I can see that, they both have a love for sugar and relentless optimism)
Indy: Pearl (yep)
Quinn: Lapis Lazuli (sorta works)
Vo: Steven (Vo's personality is a lot like Chai's, so sure, this works)
Rogue: Pearl (nope)

If you're going to be an unknowable entity that feeds on fear, you need, like, the best, most terrifying name.
My favorite variations are
-I Do Not Know You, cause it's just so Ominous
-It Is Not What It Is (can you tell I like the more poetic ones)
-Forever Deep Below Creation
-Mr. Pitch (i mean, the Dark is obviously a Thing that Exists by itself)
-Mother of Puppets, also Spinner of Schemes
-Crawling Rot, bc ick
-Why doesn't the Slaughter have a better name??? Like all the others have three or four additional names, except the Slaughter??? At least it gets the music and instruments.
-the classic Ceaseless Watcher bc of smiting
-Falling Titan is pretty cool although weirdly specific
-Viscera - i mean the Flesh is already pretty scary, but Viscera is just better somehow

It's amazing how much easier it is to write and compose music in French compared to English.
My theory is that French naturally flows and blends words together more, thus resulting in a more continuous sound, which works better than English which is build a bit choppier.
