You are in your bedroom one day when a letter is slipped under your door. You open it, thinking it might be a note from your sibling, but it's not. It's something...different. You read it multiple times, puzzled.

 

Dear Reader,

Hello. My name is Miss Mystery, but you may call me Mysty if you'd prefer. I need your help. Someone very important has gone missing- their name is classified information, so we will call them GoldEye for now. Please, will you help me find them? If you say yes, you will get coded letters from them every now and then, and it will be your job to help me decode them. There will also be challenges you must do to get closer to Clues, extra codes that are easier to figure out. Please give me your answer by May 3rd. If we don't have at least 4 people by then, I will extend the date slightly.

Ok, sorry this is late. Pangolin and Writing, both of your drawings will be included in the story, as nobody else seems to be interested in entering. Hope that's okay with you guys. 

Part 3
"I can do it!" Pangolin and Writing say at the same time. "Oh, sorry, you can," they say, once again in unison. Writing laughs. "We'll both draw one."
"Thank you," says Mysty. "Hurry, now, we have to get these posters out in an hour and a half!" 
Writing and pangolin set to work in the kitchen. "Hey! We both like the same colored pencils," pangolin realizes as Writing pulls a box out of their backpack. "But I'm going to use crayons today." 
After about 45 minutes of sketching drawings and sharping pencils, Writing and pangolin proudly hold up their posters. Violet smiles, but it's a sad smile. "Ah, I do miss my sister..." 
Mysty pats her on the shoulder. "It'll be okay. We'll find her." She looks at the drawings and grins. "And we're a step closer." 
3 Days Later
 
"Someone responded! Someone responded!!!" Violet runs through the front door, waving a little piece of notebook paper in the air."
  
"Um, that's blank," says Nerd. 
"No it's not," Mysty says, and everyone jumps, except for Elle, because Mysty had appeared behind everyone and Elle couldn't see her signing.
"It's written in invisible ink!" Violet exclaims.
"This is great!" Mysty says.
"This is terrible," Tealeaf says at the same time. 
"It's good, I promise," Violet says, a hint of pride in her voice. "Invisible ink is an old trademark. Someone who used it is probably on our side!"
"Probably?" Elle signs. 
"Yeah. Probably."

Ahhh I'm so sorry I haven't participated yet, I've been drifting for a few weeks and I didn't realize this had been topped. I'll participate in the next activities to the best of my ability, I'm so sorry, this story is awesome!

I'm not going to write the next full part right now, but I will tell you what the note says (it's Mysty by the way) and give you a bit of a story to read from this person's point of view. There's nothing really to solve here... It just sets a sort of mysterious mood to introduce you to someone. I'm submitting this comment under the name of the note writer to give you ideas on who and where they are. It's actually really fun to do that, so if it isn't too confusing, I might do it another time or two.

I frown at the note. Is it too strange? Too... Empty? 
Then I remember that I am strange and empty, the same as the words I have written. 
I should never have left home behind. 


That's what I've been thinking since I got here.
But looking in the mirror at my tired eyes and my ghostly appearance, I start to wonder if it's home I've left behind or a part of myself.

Okay, here is, finally, the next part. Morning, thanks for popping back in! I'm really glad you're enjoying it! Also, someone may have guessed me... You shall see.

 

 

Part I Can't Remember What but I Think It's 5

 

As Violet reads the words on the note with some sort of purple light, she frowns. "... Alice?" 

 

 

Mysty's smile fades, too. "I think so," she says with a sigh. 

 

 

"Lady, I hate to burst your bubble, but that note says Anna, not Alice," Elle signs. 

 

 

Violet ignores Elle and looks angry. "Why did she sign it under Anna's name? Doesn't she know..." Violet's voice trails off and she bows her head. You could swear you see tears in her eyes, but she quickly blinks them away. 

 

 

"What's wrong?" Tealeaf asks, putting a hand on Violet's shoulder.

 

 

"Yeah, is everything okay?" Morning looks confused.

 

 

"It's... Nothing. I'm fine. Thanks, though." But you all know she's lying. 

 

 

Mysty, who also seems to be upset at the name on the note, tries to move on. "Well, that's Alice. She probably thinks this a mysterious note, but frankly, it's unhelpful, and--" 

 

 

"Wait! Far off! You know what that means!" Violet suddenly exclaims. 

 

 

 

"We don't," Nerd reminds you all.

 

 

"It means she's on her way here," Mysty says.

 

 

"But from where?" Violet asks.

 

 

 

Suddenly, there's a knock on the door. 

 

 

"Well," Mysty says, walking towards the door, "I guess we'll just have to ask her ourselves."
