Hello, everyone! So, yes, an AE party! And I DO know that Spring started a few days ago, but I just had this idea today.

Anyway, without further ado, here are the AEs to tell you about it! *zooms camera in on a dining room filled with boxes of streamers, balloons, and flower garlands* 

-1780, a winter's ball~ Except it's 2022, Spring, exclusively for AEs, and more like a garden party than anything! :D-

-Oh, whatever. I’m just excited to have an excuse to put my design skills to use! If I left ANY of you guys in charge, the party would look HORRIBLE!-

#*scoffs* I’m sure we could’ve done something good. Where is this party anyway?#

Well. *lifts clipboard* When I rented it out, it was described as “A magical forest clearing of weeping willows, accessible only by invitation, with the occasional magical creature in passing (unicorns, fae, ETC.)”. Seems cool.

-*spits out lemonade* UnIcOrNs?!?!?!?!-

(AE conversation continues in the background)

So, that’s all you guys really need to know from them. Basically, a garden party, kinda fancy but not “Ball-fancy”. Wear what you AEs feel comfortable in! Oh, and NO CBERS! Which means I shouldn’t be here! :D

back to the Down to Earth

"Oh, I'm Fenrir," I say. "and, in case you were wondering, yes like Norse mythology."

I sample another snack. Yum. "I think my favorite food is vindaloo curry," I muse. "What about you?" I turn to Rogue. I do like her all black outfit; I'd wear a similar one, but I like to get dressed up when the occasion allows.

The guy walks away, and I huff, sitting on the ground. My Pretzels™ are still in the tree. I can’t reach them, so I cross my arms and pout. Might as well. Maybe someone with long legs will notice me and then help get my Pretzels™.
Someone walks up to me after only, like, a second. They have really cool hair, and are wearing all black. I don’t really look at them long, though, just a quick glance. After a minute, I say, “Stop looking at me.”

>The person spews words at me so quickly, I don’t catch it all, just snippets, like, “/Thank you so- Chai- Periwinkle’s AEs!- Cool blue hair- You’re Dawn- I know that!- Want one?- Caramel-  I’m never eating cookies again!\” She says, before putting another cookie in her mouth.<
>I don’t really know how to respond to that, so I just say, “>Yes, well, I’m glad you’re okay,<” I smile timidly, and take a piece of pie from the snack table. I hope Chai is alright with me talking to her for a bit longer.<

/I take a slice of pie and another cookie, then smush the cookie into the pie and take a bite. "/Delicious combination, I truly am a genius. So, are you liking the party so far, Dawn? 'Cause I am! It's so cool and big here! So much people! And SO MUCH SUGAR!\"\

*Oh no, I've already riled the girl up.

 

"*Sorry,*" I say quickly, hoping I am out of kicking range. "*I love your shoes! Where'd you get them? And your dress is very pretty. You've obviously got great taste. Hey, are those your Pretzels? Are they stuck in that tree? Here, let me get them for you.*" I reach up into the tree and hand them to the girl.*

#”#Well,#” I say, “#We could…#” My voice trails off, and I laugh. “#I- I don’t know. I guess we’ll see what happens?#” That sounds extremely cheesy. But it's too late to change what I said, so I’ll take it in stride. Might as well, right?#
#I look around and smile, pointing at another tree. “#That tree seems better to climb on?#” I say it like a question, even though it - clearly - is not.#

She hands me my Pretzels. I look at them for a moment, then take the bag.
"Thanks," I mutter. "My sister made my dress," I eat one of the Pretzels and offer another one to the girl. They are MUCH nicer than the other guy, they probably deserve it.

Chai seems very nice, if eccentric and wild. “>I suppose the party is… going well.<” I say, then take a bite of my pie. “>Not extraordinary, but I am enjoying it.<” I pause, and am surprised that Chai doesn’t take the opportunity to start talking again. I look over at her, to see her happily enjoying a cookie/pie hybrid. Hm. I wonder if that is good together? “>You still had a good time?<” I ask, “>Even if you did choke on cookies?<”<

:The tree Tempest is pointing at is smaller than the one I fell out of. It also has sturdier branches. But there's two people sitting under it, too. One has brown hair with really cool silver streaks in it, and the other has caramel colored hair and brown eyes. I have no problem with, like, talking to them or anything. But I just don't want to distract them or disturb them by annoyingly climbing up the tree they're under.:

:I really don't think it will bother them, though, so I smile and nod. I have to bite my toungue to keep from offering to race. Beating a shiftshaper in a race is very, VERY hard. But I still run over to the tree. I love to run!:

I hopped over to the snack table. There was a girl helping a choking boy. A demon looking person and...other people. As for my self i went to find SUGAR! I set my basket down proudly, adding a lable with my name, whats in there and what I look like to find me.  I slid along the table, finally i saw girl about 18 fussing over some mochi. She pushed her pink hair out of her blue eyes. She noticed me , *Hello* i said bouncing over. *Is that mochi?*  "Oh um yes. would you like some, i made them my self" *Wow. The only thing i can make is sweets for my bakery*. I picked up a handfull off mochi, smiled, waved with my open hand then walked away. I meandered around for awhile waiting for somone to talk to me. I wonder if some one will.

But NOW I LOVE parties!\" I note Dawn eying my cookie-pie and so I make one for aer. "/Try it, it's good! Have I ever been wrong? Except for the time like 5 minutes ago when I put five cookies in my mouth at once and choked on them?\"\

*~Two figures approach us and I am terrified. All the ease I felt around Sylvia is replaced with tension.


":Hi!:" says one, a girl. 



"*~uh-I-um...gah!~*" My mouth turns to sandpaper. Who are these people and what do they want? I tug the strings of my hoodie nervously and realize all too late that that closes my hood up. Everything goes dark. Whoops. "*~Ack! I'm s-stuck i-in my h-h-hoodie!~*" My hands find my hood and I pull myself out. The two are giving me a funny look. My ears go pink. "*~S-sorry, I'm s-so sorry. I--um--well...~*"~*

 

 

Rogue

 

"Oh, my favorite food's definitely French fries." Fenrir looks at me and I shrug. "It's basic, I guess, but I just love salty things." What else is there to say? "What about beverages? I like Shirley Temples. You?"

*The girl offers me a pretzel and I take it. "*Thanks.*" I sit down cautiously, making sure to give her her space. "*So," I say, "Some party, huh?*" 

 

 

Sure, Rueby, Maya can talk to Rogue if you want. Maybe she can join Rogue and Fenrir's conversation?

#Ellie starts to run over to the tree, and I quickly follow. I didn’t notice the people underneath before, but I’m sure it’s fine, I wouldn’t say either of us are really annoying. Well- Maybe I am, but definitely not Ellie.#
#When we get to the tree, I avoid the people sitting at the base with a “Hi. Sorry,” before starting up the trunk. Usually, I don’t really CLIMB the trees, per se, more fly up into the branch I want, but I want to try for Ellie.#
#After a few seconds, I manage to get on the branch (and surprisingly not fall down). “So…” I say to Ellie, “Whatcha think? I mean…” I gesture to the party below us. “This seems PRETTY COOL.”#

And then you started talking to me. So. A pretty much normal party- or just normal day, even.” I look at them. “My name’s Aliza, by the way. What’s your name?”

:Welp. I guess saying hi was pretty dumb of me. I didn't mean to make the carmel-haired girl nervous. My vibe doesn't seem to be very smart right now...:

:":We were just wondering if we can climb the tree,. I just wanted your permission since I don't want to just... do it?:" I say, feeling guilty and biting my lower lip. It reminds me of when I used to make South nervous on accident, since he really doesn't like talking to people. I stare at the ground. I probably shouldn't have said anything at all. I guess I need to learn to keep my mouth shut when people don't wanna talk to me. It'll make things MUCH less awkward.:

Someone's eating, like, a cookie-pie. Saying it's good. I turn to ae and say, "Who cares?" dryly. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but I didn't hear anyone ask. Also, you didn't answer the question about whether or not she was wrong," I nod to the the girl next to the person.

I should probably find someone to talk to. But just the thought of talking to someone makes me nervous, so I go to a new, unoccupied tree, and just continue to read.

/I turn around and look at Scar, an AE of Starli. Scar was just rude to my friend, and I HATE people who are rude to my friends. Peri says I'm always sunny, but that sometimes my sunshine warms people and sometimes it SCORCHES THEM.  

 

So I smile sweetly. "/Actually, I'm so glad Dawn liked my pie! Sometimes people say things without others asking them to, because if they didn't, how would anyone have a conversation at all? And the question I asked was rhetorical because the answer is obvious--well, it's at least obvious to Dawn. I guess not to you. You seem a little moody. You know what I bet would really cheer you up?! Some COOOOKIEEE PIE!!\" I quickly create another one and shove it into Scar's mouth before they can say anything else that's rude and unnecessary. I give another sweet smile--with a hint of devil in it. "/Enjoy your pie!\"\ 

 

 

 

Chai probably just got herself into some trouble... But when does she not do that? Also sorry I gotta get to my homework so I can't really do anything else but I'll be back later :D
