Our thread for Make a Friend. You seem to be on a lot, can't wait to start talking to you!

I have some questions for you!

1) What characters have you cosplayed as?

2)Would you want to have some of our AEs meet? I think they would get along!

Sooo...your turning 15...and your parents won't let you go to the FanEXPO? I saw kids younger than me there! I get if you want to go by yourself (I don't. Hopefully I'm going with over seven friends). But with someone else, especially an adult, I don't get. 0_0

The last family reunion I went to, I got bruises all up and down my arm. I was playing volleyball......with a soccer ball. ~_~

My plan may not line up either.

Yeahhh... my parents are perhaps a little overbearing. They think cosplay is weird. I've got a group of friends I want to go with, and one of their parents will be there as a chaperone, but having an adult isn't really the problem. My parents think if I want to make cosplay that's all well and good, but they think going to cons is a time sink, since it's all the way in Boston and I'd be gone most of the day. They'd probably be fine with it if I was going for only an hour or two, but if I was going to pay for a day pass, I'd want to actually get my money's worth. Plus I probably won't be in town during FanEXPO anyways...

I played volleyball with a basketball once... it really hurt. ._.

Awww. That's sucky. My mom has no interest in the whole "anime cosplay " what so ever. My dad thinks it's cool, and likes the idea of making a cosplay, but he doesn't want me and my sister to just buy one. Although, considering the character I may be going as, the costume would be very hard to make or even put together. He wears two traditional japanese garmets.....I do not think I'd find either of those at the store..

And I go as any one else. My sister will first cosplay as a character, who shipped very much with a character I simp for (his names Bakugo), go to a cosplay meet up, and take pictures with all those Bakugo cosplayer! And then to top it off, kill me afterwards. So that will get me pretty mad.

I just recently started playing Volleball, on a team. So I'm going for a tournament on thursday. Hopefully My team will win. I'm not very good yet, and I'm not on the starting line up because I'm a Libero (a player who only digs/passes balls. They get subbed in and out, through out the game.).

Yeah, I make all of my cosplay anyways, which is fun. You can learn a lot from Youtube videos. It's really relaxing. You use foam for a lot of it and carving the foam is so incredibly satisfying, although you'll have little scraps of green foam all over you.

Volleyball is fun! I'm really bad at it though. It always gives me bruises all down my arms. I have a cousin who plays volleyball in college. I prefer rock climbing, because you get less bruises unless you do something stupid. Although if you do do something stupid then the consequences can be worse.

Yes, cosplay is very fun. I was thinking of going as either Urbosa and Riju from Botw. But Urbosa has armor and Riju's hair is really long. So idk how I would do either of those things.

But Volleyball is fun when you aren't getting hit in the  in the face or yelled at my your other team mates..

Ack I forgot this thread existed! Hmm. Both of those seem like tricky characters to cosplay as... *shrugs* Oh, and also, it looks like I'm not going to be going to the mass ren faire in cumminton, if I manage to go to one it'll be King Richard's Ren Faire in Carver, which happens in (i think) October and is a little bit closer to where I live.
