First day of

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

First day of

First day of fall! :D Hey everybuggy, tomorrow is the first offical day of fall! I'm so happy it's finally here; fall is my all-time favorite season. :) We're in Northern CA right now, so the weather most likely feel like fallish tomorrow (I love sunny CA! :)) but my mom, siblings and I might make caramel apples, which would be totally awesome. I'll try and post some fall themed photos I took later, and any of you other buggies who have some photos to put us in a fallish mood, post those too! :) What are everybuggy's favorite things about this season? I love the colorful, warm colors of the leaves, being able to wear cute socks and sneakers, the warm yet cool weather & the fall holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, my mom's birthday, my mom & dad's anniversery and our birthday! :))! Happy fall everybuggy! :)

(Ha, ha, I used the word fall a lot... :))

Chatterboxers, did you know that this week, Jupiter is appearing in the night sky near the full harvest moon? It's the brightest thing you'll see near the moon. This week (September 22-25, 2010) Jupiter's the closest to Earth since 1960-something! If you look through binoculars, you may be able to see a red spot. I just did from our front porch! Cool!

That's really cool Admin!  Too bad I missed it. :(

Anyway I like spring the most by a lot and I sort of don't like the fall much because that's when mushrooms pop up and those things really freak me out.  Also it's very buggy around where I live and the weather is hard to deal with. (Not meaning it's too cold, but one day I'll wear a jacket and be really warm, so the next day I won't wear one and the I'll freeze.) Basically the weather can go from something in the high seventies to something in the low fifties in a day.  It's cool that you like the fall and I can see in different places how that would work out but I'm just not much of a fan.

Okay when I said I missed Jupiter's showing I meant I couldn't look for it that night so I sort of missed it.

That's really cool, thanks for telling us Admin! :)

Thanks for posting Cherry! :)

I'm going to look again tonight if the sky is clear. Last night was completely cloudy here.

I have to agree with Cherry on the fall subject because the weather is pretty much just blech.

I love fall! My family is celebrating Sukkot, a Jewish harvest festival. We make a little hut-type thingy (sukkah) in our back yard, and eat dinner out there.

Actually, I don't have many feelings one way or the other about fall. The temperature is typically in the 80s and 90s, which is cool (I mean that literally, of course.) but not really very noticable, and most leaves don't changes colors because nearly all trees are pine, but it's still better than summer... And holidays are fun, even though I didn't celebrate Halloween last year and may not this year! And then there's NaNo! I cannot begin to describe how  excited I am for NaNo. It's in less than a week! Yay!

Fall is actually probably my favorite season.  WA winters are always rainy- yeah, not even snowy!  And springs are also rainy and cold and summers... well this summer was the worst!  There weren't more than 3 warm days, seriously.  It was NOT the best summer.  But this fall is already starting to be wonderful and warm!  And when the leaves change colors it's just SOOOOO amazingly beautiful.  So.... yeah.  Fall's the best.

It sounds like Fall in WA is going to be awesome R~D~! We've been by the ocean lately, so I haven't seen many Fall colors yet...I love the ocean, but I really love Fall colors! :p Oh well, until we do see some Fall colors, I'll just stick to the colorful, fake leaves we decorated the RV with. :)

(Z.A.R. says: ptzi, which means, pizza time, Zoot's incubator.  Which basically means, pizza party at Zoot's house!!!!  Z.A.R., why don't you ever just say something straight out???)

Everybuggy's invited! Pizza for all!

I love Autumn time!  My sister's bithday, my mom's bithday, both my grandma's birthday,  and my parents anniversary!  Their anniversary was two days ago, on October 3rd!  They've been married for 13 years and two days!

And Halloween, and Thanksgiving...  And the Equinox!  I love Holloween because my friend  always comes with her family and we dress in costumes that match!  This year we are going to be Alice in Wonderland people...  The other year we were Harry Potter...

I love the weather!  Its cold, but I love when the wood stove is burning and friends come over and we're all huddled inside after we have long hours of runing around in my backyard...  :)

And NaNo, as Ima said!  Though it will be in less than a month, not a week.  I can't wait until NaNo!  I will have to get something like a hoodie from cafepress signifying my NaNoism...  I should plan!   Though not now...  On the 25th...  I can't even wait to plan!  *runs around in circles trying not to plan NaNo yet*  *squee*
