First day of

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

First day of

First day of fall! :D Hey everybuggy, tomorrow is the first offical day of fall! I'm so happy it's finally here; fall is my all-time favorite season. :) We're in Northern CA right now, so the weather most likely feel like fallish tomorrow (I love sunny CA! :)) but my mom, siblings and I might make caramel apples, which would be totally awesome. I'll try and post some fall themed photos I took later, and any of you other buggies who have some photos to put us in a fallish mood, post those too! :) What are everybuggy's favorite things about this season? I love the colorful, warm colors of the leaves, being able to wear cute socks and sneakers, the warm yet cool weather & the fall holidays (Halloween, Thanksgiving, my mom's birthday, my mom & dad's anniversery and our birthday! :))! Happy fall everybuggy! :)

(Ha, ha, I used the word fall a lot... :))

Chatterboxers, did you know that this week, Jupiter is appearing in the night sky near the full harvest moon? It's the brightest thing you'll see near the moon. This week (September 22-25, 2010) Jupiter's the closest to Earth since 1960-something! If you look through binoculars, you may be able to see a red spot. I just did from our front porch! Cool!

Ah, Meadow, Halloween sounds like fun!!!  I wish I could get my friends to do that, but....

Heehee, I just told Ima that too.  She scared me!  CAUSE I SIGNED UP THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!  YAY!!!!!!  I'm L.E.M.  :)

Um, can anyone tell me why it says "access denied" when I try to get to my NaNo Mail???  It's baffling me.

I want to get one of those grey hoodies with the blue NaNoWriMo written across the chest!!!  It looks so cozy!!!  But, as much as I want to write while wearing it, I decided maybe I should wait and see if I actually like doing it.  I highly doubt, though, that I won't.  :D  Maybe I could get it now anyway....  The trouble is, I don't know if Mom is willing to buy one for me when I haven't even ever tried NaNo.  Hmm....  It is kinda expensive....  Maybe a t-shirt, or a key chain, or one of those little button sets!!  I do collect pins for my singing bag.....  Hmm.  Ideally, I'd get all the above, but you know... money is money...........  :)  Still!!!  I'd love to wander around showing off the fact that I am a NaNo-er.  :D

Cheerseys!

YAY!  I've buddied you!  :D  I'm Evilsilhouette!  I just tried to send you NaNomail, but it doesn't seem to be working...  It says that L.E.M doesn't allow private messages...  Maybe it has somethig to do with your  'User Settings'  You have to check the box that says 'Allow private messages', and maybe that will work!  :)

Ooh!  I want the black one with the grey/white NaNoWirMo written on the front.  I would just get the grey one dirty...  :)    And I would think my parents would let me get the hoodie,  because I do have my own money, and they know I can write 50k words in a month because I have!  For JulNo!  They cirtainly do know, because in August I was screaming about how I got to over 50k words again and again and again!  It feels nice, finishing those 50k words!  WOO!

YES!!!  I figured it out!!!  And then ZNZ found me, and NaNomailed me.  :)

I buddied you too!

Yah, I liked that one too, and I supposedly look good in black (just sayin'), and I'd get grey dirty too, but I like light colors because I usually get too warm in dark ones.  Plus, blue is one of my most favorite colors.  But I was thinking, maybe I could trick my Mom into buying me one next year too, and then I could get the black one.  It would be good for going to San Francisco.  Or really, the hiking trails across the bay.  On my side.  :)  Always cold and foggy and windy when I go there, so black would be très bon.

Ooh!!!!  Congratulations!!!  That's really cool!!!!  :D  Yah, I think if I get over 50k, I'll be screaming about it for a year....  :D  Be glad you're not my neighbor, as I plan to write like a madwoman and WIN!!!!!  :D  (and then celebrate for three weeks solid)  Although, my neighbor would probably be very excited for me, and she'd celebrate with me.  :)

Meadow, I hope your sister, mom, and grandmas have awesome birthdays! *<:) It is so awesome that you and your friends dress up in costumes that match for Halloween! I love it! That's what my siblings and I always did until the last few years-we've dressed up as Cops & Robbers (My brother was the police officer, and Becka and I were the robbers...that was too funny! :)) people from Scooby Doo, the 3 Musketeers, people from the 50's, (Poodle skirt waitresses & Elvis. As you can guess, we girls were the waitresses & Gary was Elvis... ;)) the Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens, (We were 3 years old. ;)) and a few more that I can't remember right now. It's fun matching! :) The last few years though, we've decided to surprised each other with our costumes. Last year I was a Cat Burglar-I dressed up as a black cat, and had a huge fake bag of money. >^.^< My sister was a bag of jelly beans, and my brother was some crazy rock star. :) This year I might be a Scarecrow. Halloween is only 20 days away, I can't wait!!! :D Meadow, I love what you said about your wood stove, it sounds so Fallish and awesome! :) I might try NaNo this year, I'll let you buggies know if I do! :)

I bet they will have great birthdays!  They all get special cards from me, with poems about things they enjoy!  :D  My friend, my two little sisters, and I were all Hogwarts students. Her little sister was a unicorn, her little brother was Dobby, her mom was Professor Trelawney, my mom was Professor McGonogal (I'm misspelling names...  ahh!), my dad was Hagrid (he carried around a large teacup of 'beer' and had pillows in his clothes and he had a huge beard...), and then her older brother was a dementor, although we wanted him to be Harry.  :)  I love your costumes!  They sound so cool!  The Three Little Kittens Who Lost Their Mittens sounds so adorable!  Ooh, I hope you do do NaNo!  It's so fun to write 50,000 words in a month!  And the feeling you get after writing 50k words is completely amazing. I love it!  :D  20 days!  Yay!  I love that it's only twenty days!  Less now!  Wow, NaNo and Halloween!  YAY!  I can barely wait!  It's sooo close!  I can't wait!  I can wait, but it will seem longer than it usually does, and I will have random moments of screaming pretending it's NaNo and I have to write 2k words a day...  Sometimes I wake up thinking it's November 9th, or something October has already been.

Meadow, it's so sweet that you make cards with poems in them for your family! I love making cards for birthdays/holidays. :) Those costumes sound so awesome! Thanks! Ha, ha, yeah, the 3 Little Kittens costumes were really cute. >^.^< I think I'll do NaNo! I'll let you know when I sign up so that we can "buddy" each other. :)

Meadow, it almost feels like Halloween is a giant kick-off party for NaNo!!!  :D

I love the Hogwarts costumes.  That's hilarious.  Who were you?

(Z.A.R. says: twoo.  Me: I bet you can all guess what that means!  You: Too twoo, too twoo.)

@Kimmie: YAY!  I like buddying people!  I made my friend sign up recently, and I have buddied her!  I plan to make everyone I know sign up.  At least the people who can read and write and type.  I won't make them, but if they like writing then I will definitly tell them about it and then tell them they have to do it.  Muahahahahaha!

@Laura: It does!  And the sugar in the candy gives you energy!  For a very short amount of time.  But then there is more candy!  :)  And then I will probably start my NaNo about candy, or some other sugary edible thing.

I was a hogwarts student!  My friend was Hermione, and I could have been Ginny but couldn't find a red wig...  :)

NaNoWriMo!  I have been looking up NaNo songs on Youtube, and the songs are so hilarious!  :)  I <3 them...  :D

Ha, ha, ha, Laura, I'm in NorCal right now!!!! :D We've been here for quite a few weeks. Not in one place, we've been moving around; we just left San Luis Obispo & we were in Santa Cruz yesterday. Today, we're in the town we used to live in, which is a few hours from Sacramento. We'll be exploring Petaluma this weekend, and probably do San Fran next week. I really love CA! It would be so cool if we saw each other! Not that we'd know who we were.... ;) Maybe I'll make a CB t-shirt or something when we go through Santa Rosa! :)

Ha, ha, as you can see, I'm 15 now! My siblings and I turned 15 on the 1st. *<:)
