So who watches this? This year I've really been getting into it with my dad. I think the contestants have been fantastic with the exception of a few. (at least much better than Chris Allen and Lee Dewyze, past winners) The 16-year-old girl, Lauren, who's on the show now, lives within about 45 minutes of us, and my dad said that if she gets into the top three, we might go see her sing! (since whoever gets into the top three goes back to their home town and performs before the finale) I'm so excited!! It's all over our newspaper. So, favorites? Least favorites?

@ Robyn--Hahahahahaha, Il Volo was *SWEET*!!! They cracked me up!! (especially the portly guy and the guy with the great big red glasses) They were totally jazzing up the Italian music. The appearance was half of it. Best guest artist yet. ;)

Okay, tonight's the finale!! Who's gonna win it???!!! I say Lauren. She did a great job last night! I love the final results. It's so suspenseful and my heart starts racing so badly.

Argh! Argh! I don't know! I *really* hope it's Scotty... but I just don't like country music at all so I guess I don't care. I don't think Lauren is an Idol though.

i hope im the first to say....SCOTTY MCCREERY WINS! Super awesome! he is just so amazing and not to be biased or opinionated but when he was singing next to tim mcgraw scotty sounded better...OH YEAH! scotty is soooo awesome

Okay, good turn out. It was funny... towards the beginning of the competition Lauren and Scotty were the two that I wanted to leave- and they made it all the way. Ha. But anyway, I'm very happy Scotty won!

Oh my gosh. I cannot believe he won. I was so sure it would be Lauren. I was standing up in my chair when Ryan said, "And the winner (blahblahblah) is.......Sssss", and before he finished it with "cotty" I was already thinking, "Shoot. It's over." That was some....interesting....congratulations between him and Lauren.

@Mary Jo: I actually kinda knew that he would win. I mean, every girl I've ever talked to is in love with Scotty. I know! Lauren was kinda going crazy congratulating him. I feel there's a little bit of romance between the two....
So whatdya think of the performances? The Jack Black and Casey duet was probably my favorite! And then the clips of Casey and James arguing was realllllllly funny.

I'm so sad that Scotty won--er, not really. After Haley got voted off I didn't care much about AI.
But the Jack Black & Casey performance was funny, and I liked the Top 13 Girls performance with Beyonce. But Pia didn't get to perform solo. *tear*
