I was thinking,

Chatterbox: Inkwell

I was thinking,

I was thinking, we could start a new story chain. You make up a new character, but they CAN'T be from the 21st century (they'll wind up there later). They have to be related to someone famous but NOT an actor, actress, singer, etc.

Mine is: Dehlia Ludington.

Related to a heroine of the American Revolution: Sybil Ludington.

Lives in Fredericksburg NY, 1777

Suddenly transported to the 21st century.

Age: Unkown

Short length blonde hair, blue-gray eyes, exactly 5 feet, rather pale.

Personality: Quiet most of the time, yet speaks out passionately when its something she cares about, strong, dependable, loving.

Hope ya'll like my idea!

Kay, I really want to start posting again, but I have no idea what's going on. Can somebody give me the rundown on what happened since I disappeared?

Okay! So, we're currently in the future, in Elexhiia's time. There's a massive World War III going on over time tears. Back in the present day, (2012/13) we had been attempting to a) get home, and b) escape from Max, and Volt (the evil electric dude). Dora and I escaped, came back for ya'll, and were about to head home with the time tears we had. Well, instead of going home, we headed to the future, and as we were disappearing, Liz, Max, and Volt grabbed onto us, also heading to the future. There we (Dora and Dehlia) found Elexhiia, and after some explaining, she told us she was told to go to the past, and we were meant to come here. Well, she's in league with some secret service thing (she hasn't totally explained that yet). We ran into you and Felix, and are hiding in the woods outside of the city (no exact city, just a city). We all, after time traveling here, have lasting affects of the time tears, mainly of which entails teleportation. So the only way to currently save the world is to go to each country, take the time tears (which is again what everyone is fighting for becaue they contain untold power), and bring them back to Elexhiia. So far we've gone to Russia, and England. In both places the time tears were hidden in places of power or famous signifcance (i.e., the Russian capitol building, Buckingham palace). So we're now headed to Paris, France where the time tears are hidden at the top of the Eiffel Tower guarded by a dozen guards. So we have to once again retrieve the time tears. Oh yeah, and the affects of the time tears (teleportation) lasts only forty-eight hours, so we have to keep moving. Also, you have to be in light to teleport. We nearly faded away in our previous teleporting from Buckingham Palace do to the lack of it. We do have weapons (supplied by Elexhiia) which each of us has a steampunk looking tesla, and Dehlia has a communicator strapped to her wrist so we can stay in touch with Elexhiia. For better figuring what that looks like, search Warehouse 13 farnsworth communicator. (Sorry, I really couldn't resist the idea of steampunk stuff).

But anyways, that's pretty much it. Feel free to correct me, True if I got something wrong, or if I forgot something! But yeah, feel free to start writing again, L! Glad your back!

Yup, that sums it up, I think. Well, just one more thing. Don`t forget about that we won't actually die by fading away, we'll just go to our right time periods. So, BHR and I were thinking that we could get the time tears, and die in a battle, then go to or rightful time periods. That is what happened to Elexhiia, though they aren't supposed to figure it out until after we "die". And I apologise for god-modding, but with only Deliha and Dora to go on, we didn`t really want to give up four good characters.

Sorry that I had to put a dozen guards, but something needed to get to Dora and Deliah, seeing as they shouldn't know about the Eiffel Tower.

Right, it's going to take me a bit to get back into the swing of this. Would it be okay if I was the one who wrote it up? I'll read through each of the posts thoroughly and paste them all into one Word document and edit from there, to keep the writing pretty much original. We also need to find a place to end it when the time comes.

Another question - are the secret service people Elexhiia's involved with the people who cropped up shortly before I left (think their names were Liz, Donovan, and Arctica)?

If Quintus doesn't come back soon, I can edit out all the things with Felix, since we probs won't get her consent in the near future and it would be best to start working on this now.

Errol stumbles when his feet find purchase on an entirely different stretch of lamplit road. He'll never get used to this. Brushing off the sleeves of his jacket casually to cover up his discomfort, he glances around. Paris. At night.

Left it open for building, because I'm still a bit confused.

Okay, here's the dealio: I just copied and pasted 20 pages of really really rough multitense, multiperspective roleplay into one document. I probably have a bunch of random conversation in there as well. When I've got a relatively less rough draft, I'll send a link to BHR through Camp NaNo and she can distribute it to the rest of you? I dunno, I haven't really thought that part out.

(September 3, 2013 - 7:42 pm)

BHR can send it to me via YWP PM, but PMs are supposed to be only 1,000 words or shorter, or the mods can delete them. What are we supposed to do with these documents?

And, are we really going to publish this? If so, where, and how do we get Quintus in this? I saw SC post about and hour ago, so maybe one of you can PM her or catch her on the forums?

I can get SC through NaNo. Not sure about Quintus, but she hasn't posted in forever (I assume), so...

Also, I'd just be sending a link to the doc.

All right. What should we do with these, just keep them?

And, I would write, but I feel that it should be either Deliha or Errol`s turn next.

Sorry, I've been so busy lately.

Oh yeah, thank you True. That part somehow slipped my mind. That just goes to show how scatterbrained I am!

Okay, I'm good with the whole sending document thing. I also messaged SC through Camp Nano, but she hasn't replied. We can ask her on the thread she just wrote on to come back.

I'll write a piece soon.

Dehlia ~

I stared around. The city was nothing like what I'd been told by merchants and travelers. Most of the buildings were locked tight, occasionly a glass window would be shattered, making us cautious where we stepped. Sometimes, I would look up, and spot a light on in a window, or a movement or shadow, but it was always fleeting. We forged on through alley ways, often ducking into shadows at the sound of marching boots.

"Where and what is the Eiffel Tower?" I hissed.

Errol looked at me odd for a second, then said; "Oh yeah, I forgot the Eiffel Tower hadn't been built yet in your times." But before he could elaborate, we emerged from the alley, and a tall, impressive structure rose in the distance.

"That," Errol said, "is the Eiffel Tower."

My jaw dropped slightly. I'd never seen anything quite like it.

"We're supposed to get to the top of THAT and get passed a dozen guards?!" I demanded, though not of anyone in paticular.

"Yup," said Felix, standing beside me.

"So, how do we do this?" Dora asked.

"Just do it as we go, I suppose," I said, and we forged on.

~Dora~

The Eiffel Tower was huge, taller than anything that I had ever seen. It was bold against the night sky, though no light was on it. There was a little flag at the very top of the tower. And just below it, was a little platfom, where I could see six of the twelve guards marching to and fro.

"There they are," I murmured, and dared to point to the marching guards.

Errol lightly slapped my hand, a signal for me to be quiet and to put my hand down.

"They can`t hear us or anything," Fliex hissed.

"How are we supposed to get up there?" Deliha asked, "Is there a ladder or something?"

"Well, there are stairs," Felix said, "  And unless you want to climb it, nothing else."

"There`s and elevator, but that`s far to risky," Errol said.

"A what?" Deliha asked.

"A thing that lifts people," Errol said, tiredly. The history lessons seemed to be getting to him.

"Well, let`s climb," I said.

Errol frowns. "Wouldn't that look incredibly suspicious, though? A biggish group of people all trying to get to the top of a national landmark?"

Dehlia and Felix glance at each other. "Maybe..." she says.

"Well, here's what I'm thinking. We could wait until the daytime, when people are actually allowed to tour this thing, and go in in several groups. Then, whoever's closest to the thingies gets them and we split." He thinks it over for a second. "If anything goes wrong, zap over to the HQ. Got that?"

Elexhiia paced back and forth on the abandoned lawn of the Central Factory Management building. After they had gone to france, Elexhiia had teleported here and had been staying in the restoration section: two floors set aside entirely for people who are in need because of the war. She bit her lip. It had been four days since she had last seen her friends. Although France had very weird time, by her calculations they would have beenhere yesterday. Elexhiia looked around to make sure that no-one was on the streets. Then she walked across, straight to the darkened alley. In there she emptied the contents of her pockets and belt. On the left side of her belt was an old communicator device, the one she had been using. There was also an image manipulator, a brain scanner, a key, a stun gun, a handbook to the creatures of this world, and my wallet. On the other side was all things that I couldn't allow my friends to see. An acroytulavor, a blazer, my wing suit, my other two suits, a huge pouch of magical energy, and a a bliken beamer. In the very front of my belt, hidden away by the bumpy leather pouch was a bottle of everlasting time tears.

Dehia ~

I sighed.

"We can't wait though. It'll be too late. We have less then forty-eight hours to get all the time tears everywhere, before the affects wear off."

"We could act," Dora suggested.

"Act what?" Felix demanded.

"Well, Dehia and I could go up there, acting like two young girls waiting for someone, then you two could pretend to meet us. We stun the guards, grab the tears, and scram."

Errol snorted. "It might work," he consented.

"Let's try!" I said eagerly. "None of us have any other ideas."

----

Dora and I strode toward the tower, gazing up.

"Ready?" I whispered. I somehow couldn't bring myself talk aloud.

"Yes," she whispered back, and we started up the steps. After some time and a great deal of panting, we reached the mid landing. There, we were confronted with just two guards, which Dora and I quickly stunned.

We continued up and finally reached the top. We crouched low on the ground, watching the guards march. Definitely to many to take out by ourselves and all at once. The diversion was the only way.

"Ready?" I asked Dora.

*********************************************************************

This is highly unlikely, but does anyone know what the top of the Eiffel Tower looks like, and where the time tears could be?
