Camp NaNoWriMo is

Camp NaNoWriMo is arriving!

So.  Who else is doing Camp NaNo (there's already been a discussion of this on a different thread, but in case this slipped past anyone's eye...)?

Yay!  Cabins are assigned!  We didn't end up making an entire Chatterboxian cabin, which is kind of sad, but you know.

So it's me, BHR, Gollum, Ivy, and two unknowns... okay then.

And the two unknowns both take Mandarin Chinese together.

I knew someone who took Mandarin. No offence, but they despised it. I, personally want to take Greek.

Mandarin is cool, except when my mom ignores me until I repeat what I just said in Chinese.

I know people who speak Chinese. And we almost moved to Shanghai once.

Yeah. I ended up with someone named Anglelic Toaster.

L didn't mention Alex, so and Alex and Theo, since we three are alone, do you guys want to opt out of your current cabin and try again?

I forgot to say this before, but: I will venture in the Great Big Forest of Camp Nanowrimo armed with the astounding weapon Scrivener! I am very excited to use it.

What is Scrivener anyway? I've heard about it but I have no idea what it actually is.

Scrivener is a writing program, like Microsoft Word or Pages or whatever you use, but it's specifically designed for writing extended works. I've only had it since Christmas, so I haven't really had a chance to write long things on it, but from what I've used so far, it'll be useful for keeping everything together. Because it's designed with the fiction (or nonfiction) writer in mind, it's easy to keep track of research, chapters, drafts, and everything else. It's one of the sponsers of Nanowrimo, so if you won in November, they gave you 50% off, and if you participated, I think it was 10%, so that's why my parents let me get it.

Also, it has a cool logo and a cool name.

Edgad!!! (Did I just seriously say that!?) April is tommorow! Camp NaNoWriMo is tomorrow!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, excited. I can't wait, actually. And I thought of SO MANY TWISTS!!!! I am SO excited and SO nervous and ARRRRGH!!!

I am armed with a notebook and the common knowledge that I'm about to defy all laws of science and I will have no idea what I'm talking about.

Cappie says "hkrw." I have no idea what it means, but maybe it has something to do with the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy, which I am right now reading.
