New RP.

Because I forgot which ones I'm currently part of.

I think we should do one about this group of kids who go to a boarding school.  This boarding school's normal, except for the fact it's on a spaceship.  And the kids are kept so isolated for a reason...

The school's called the Space Shuttle Education.

Name: Gemma Donner

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Country she's from: USA

Family: Mom (Kristin), Dad (Marc), Brother (Nick), Grandma (Freida)

Reason she was sent to the SS Education: At the age of three, she taught herself to pick locks.  At the age of seven, she taught herself to crack safes.  She got sent to the SS Education her freshman year because she started utilizing these skills when she was ten, after her dad lost her job.

Other: Plays drums.

My grandma's name (on my father's side) was Freida! She ran a German bakery in Chicago.

I'm going to start.

Gemma~

I always wear chopsticks in my hair.  Most people think it's a style choice, but I actually use them to drum.  I've also had them tricked out so they can pick most locks.  On the SSE, we only have locks on the less important doors, because of kids like me.  It was... discouraging.  It took me twenty bucks and a trip to the ressident computer whiz to get a tool to pick the electronic locks.  I have the frequencies the doors are on memorized, so it takes one click and I'm in.

I used to just pick locks for fun.  Now, I feel a compulsive need for the ability- not even the experience- to get into every little door and cabinet.  I just won't feel safe until I've picked every lock on this ship.

On this prison.

Name: Nadia Zoif

Gender: Female

Age: 14

Country she's from: USA (an extremely small town in the middle of Wyoming)

Family: Nadia lives with her father, Jordan, who runs a general store, and her "perfect" older sister, Susiann. Her mother passed away when Nadia was five, dying from a car accident. But Nadia always had the sneaking suspicion that her mother was still alive...
Nadia has a set of grandparents and an Aunt Bethany, but for mysterious reasons, she never met them.

Reason she was sent to the SS Education: Nadia's intelligence was too much for the population of her town to handle. By the age of ten, she knew French, Spanish, Russian, and Latin, and her list of languages continued to expand to eight. And then there was her impressive vocabulary.
It wasn't just her knowledge that pushed the townsfolk over the edge, but Nadia's habits, which were considered "strange" and "dangerous". She asked lots of questions about the town's history, collected bones, and took extreme measures to investigate things, from lock picking to thievery...
...and, of course, there was that incident in the barn where Nadia became...well, we can't give away too much in the intro profile.

So, out of fear, the townsfolk pressured Jordan to send Nadia to a new boarding school in space they'd heard about on Channel 3 News. He really didn't want to out of love for his daughter, but...well, (though she doesn't know it) let's just say they took measures even more extreme than Nadia's. Now she's at SSE, and though she wants to return home, she know she won't exactly be welcome.

Other: Nadia is intelligent, kind, resourceful, and good at manual labor after working on a farm over the summer. She is shy and mysterious, but plenty sarcastic when she opens up to you. She loves hats and wears her lucky newsboy cap wherever she is, even at SSE. She's also a bit of a daredevil, though not in front of an audience.

So yes, suspense, secrets, intriuge: Meet Nadia Zoif!

Oh, I didn't say much about her likes. She likes ghost stories. And alternative rock. And not being trapped in SSE.

*crosses fingers* I hope this shows up. I got bored, so I drew stuff.

Top- I changed what Concord prefers to wear, now it's a black dress shirt, grey suit jacket, and white tie.

Bottom- Concord. She doesn't actually have a desk like that, and there is no Concord Krause Enterprises. She's wearing sunglasses because I hate faces. She's holding things because I hate hands. She looks older than I'd like her to look (okay, I messed up, she's supposed to look like she's 14), but yeah. That's her. (I swear she looked younger in my sketchbook.)

Aaaand I just realized there's a weird bump at the back of her neck.

Have fun, Andrew.

I don't like leaving my house, but now I have no choice. Now I'm going to outer space. I've reasearched my new home, the Space Shuttle Education. It's a school designed to take on children with problems. Schools like this are full of strong people. I'll have to hide to avoid notice. The space shuttle is so big, there's room for each child to have his or her own room. I'm glad. I'll have a place to hide without other humans around. "I thought you were supposed to make friends here. How are you supposed to do that without a roommate?" Momo-chan asks. She's lying  on her back on my bed. The space shuttle turns so as to create artificial gravity. That way, you can lay down on beds without having to be strapped in to sleeping bags like what used to happen on space stations.

"Without a roommate in space, no one can hear you scream," Kaze says. It's an English proverb. I've been studying them and making the others speak Emglish. This is an English school.

"That's not funny, Kaze," Aoi snarles. He's sitting next to me on my desk. I'm glad he came with me, he's my best friend. He looked at me like I was crazy when I asked if he would come with. "Of course I will! Why wouldn't I?"

"We don't have a choice anyway. We're bound to you," Kin reminded me as he walked by, reading, as always. "I know," I said, "I just want to make sure you came willingly, hat's all." I said it quietly. I was embarassed to admit I needed my friends that much.

It's very strange here on the space shuttle. I don't feel very safe. "Have you ever?" Kin asks. He's reading under the bed.

"I felt a little safe at home..."

"Can I sing something?" Momo-chan askes.

"Sure," I say. "But, really, Momo-chan, you should try to learn some English songs." Momo-chan really likes Mizuki Nana-san's work. She hasn't found any English songs she likes yet.

"They all sound bad. And the singers have really low voices. I don't like saying that low," she says before launching into Trinity Cross. It's true. Momo-chan can go very low-pitched, but she prefers higher-pitched songs. That's why there's so many Vocaloid songs on my iPod. She likes singing with Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, and Kasane Teto.

"Andrew-kun, you should go out and enjoy yourself. You ought to meet other humans! Come on, I know your last friends were all horried, but you can make new friends. Awesome ones! I bet there's some great kids here," Ao-kun says. He's really animated. He likes making friends. The last time I had friends, they found out about him and started making fun of him. He was so mad and they couldn't even hear or see him so he argued with them over email. I've learned my lesson. And then my parents found them... Well, I've learned my lesson. Never tell another human about anything not human-normal. Which means Ao-kun will just have to have friends vicariously. Through me.

Momo-chan begins singing Dancing in The Velvet Moon and starts to dance. The room isn't very big, so she doens't have much room and this dance has lots of spinning. "I don't know, Ao. All of the kids out there look really mean."

"Appearances can be decieving," Kin reminds me. "Think of Tori." That's true. She seemed so nice, then she found out about Ao and the others. And she began to make fun of us. She stalked me online and humiliated me in front of people. I couldn't tell my parents because then they would have to learn about The Five. Well, it all came out anyway. And that got me stuck here...

"Shut up, Ki-kun," Ao-kun snaps. He grabs my arm. "Look, like it or not, you're going to make friends. Besides, class is going to start soon. You're going to go and enjoy yourself. You're also going to get that idiot Kaze out of your head."

"Where else am I suppsoed to go, idiot Aoi?" Kaze asks.

Ao-kun jumps off the desk and drags me along too. Momo-chan and Kin follow. It looks like we're going to class and I'm sure I'm going to get dragged into an umcomfertable social situation. Let's hope I survive.
