New RP.

Because I forgot which ones I'm currently part of.

I think we should do one about this group of kids who go to a boarding school.  This boarding school's normal, except for the fact it's on a spaceship.  And the kids are kept so isolated for a reason...

The school's called the Space Shuttle Education.

Name: Gemma Donner

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Country she's from: USA

Family: Mom (Kristin), Dad (Marc), Brother (Nick), Grandma (Freida)

Reason she was sent to the SS Education: At the age of three, she taught herself to pick locks.  At the age of seven, she taught herself to crack safes.  She got sent to the SS Education her freshman year because she started utilizing these skills when she was ten, after her dad lost her job.

Other: Plays drums.

My grandma's name (on my father's side) was Freida! She ran a German bakery in Chicago.

I'm sorry, I haven't had time to write much since school started just a couple weeks ago. Anyway, here goes...

Kioni--

I clung to the handles on the top of the spaceship and looked out into the sky. Not much to see. There were distant stars, a few chunks of rock, and a nebula off to the right. Yes, classes had started again, but the teachers were all preoccupied with the gravity going off. I'd rather be away from all the commmotion. Plus, I had checked the control room. Whoever turned the gravity back on missed something, and the gravity was going to switch off again in a few seconds. It was more peaceful outside anyhow. Time didn't seem to pass, and the shuttle moved gently underneath me. I don't know how long I stayed out there, but eventually I resigned to go inside, as the oxygen in my tank started to get lower. When I got back to my dorm, Noah was in there with someone else. I think his name may have been Andrew. It must have reached a lunch break. They were talking in low tones, backs turned away from the window, but stopped abruptly at my entry, having been knocked back. Both wore stunned expressions. Apparently people didn't usually come flying at them out of the window of a spacecraft. Better get used to it. I threw off my helmet and frowned at them.

"Something wrong?" I asked, resisting the urge to laugh. Noah still stared at me, and Andrew was rubbing a bruised shoulder. He was looking in another direction now, staring up at something I couldn't see. "Sorry to interrupt your conversation," I smiled, "carry on." Pausing for a second, I added, "And you would do well not to mention I was outside. This earned me more strange looks. Noah started to clear his throat. "Look," I gave them a dry look, "if you're going to overreact every time someone throws a window at you from the outside of a space shuttle..." Andrew shook his head.

"This is getting too weird for me. I'm going to step outside for a bit." He edged out the room. Noah turned to me.

"Really?" he asked, raising his eyebrows.

Gemma~

I kept looking at Celeste during lunch, waiting for the plan to go into effect.  It never did, though.  Mere minutes after lunch started, an alarm went blaring off as we were sent floating to the ceiling.  I pushed off of it and over to the window to see what could have caused this, but nothing appeared to be wrong. This must be an internal issue.

The lunch moniters were in a group right by the entrance, holding hands so they wouldn't float away from each other.  One of them noticed me and they all pushed off toward me.  I gulped.  This wasn't my fault, but what if it came out that I was the one who was at fault for the earlier gravity breach?

Something seemed weird about all of this.  Finally, I realized what: the metallic toes and heels were doing nothing to stop us from floating away.  Whoever had pulled this must have done something really odd to the whole magnetic force of the whole spacecraft.

That kid Noah who I see going to the principal's office a lot floated by me.  I'd seen him talking to that other kid, Andrew.  Yes, I do know everybody's names.  It goes with being able to unlock every door and have a schematic of the whole spacecraft.  I feel the need to have control over my environment, and that's part of it.  Sometimes, at night, I like to listen to Broadway showtunes (my mom was in drama club when she was my age, so they remind me of home) and study the class lists I stole from the principal's office.

I grabbed Noah so I could talk to him.  "Hi, Noah,"I said. "My name is Gemma.  I'm a year or two older than you.  I'm sorry if it creeps you out that I know your name and age, but I really need you to do me a favor and distract the lunch moniters so I can get out of here and try to fix this before they blame me.  I'm an... amateur locksmith.  I'll get you into any room in the school later if you just do this one thing for me."

He looks skeptical.  I take out my device.  "Watch the doors," I say.  They slide open and closed of their own accord.  One of his eyebrows goes up.  He nods, then floats away to stall for me.

I make an escape through the doors I just opened.

Charlie ~

I rubbed my head after I'd knocked it on a pipe along the ceiling after the gravity went off. I looked over at Gemma, but she seemed just as surprised as the rest of us. I could instantly feel her thoughts and feelings. She was surprised by the anti gravity, nervous at the sight of the lunch moniters, but strongest of all was innocence. I watched her grab hold of Noah, and ask something of him, then launch herself to the door. Several minutes later, the gravity returned, rather abruptly I might add, causing everyone to crash to the floor. I hit a table bench, and sat up groaning, rubbing my shoulder. I happened to catch Gemma slipping back in. I hurried over.

"What happened?" I whispered.

So, brief, I know, but I at least just wanted to get Charlie back in there.

Thanks for topping it for me, guys!  I would post now, but I have very little charge on my iPad and I need to conserve it so I can listen to music while I fall asleep so I won't go crazy.  Also, it's like 10 at night here and I have to get up before 6 tomorrow.  Anyway, the point of that is I'll write my addition tomorrow at school and post it tomorrow or Saturday.

Cookies!

The alarms go off suddenly, startling me. I jump instinctively and find that the gravity was now turned off. Let me just say, zero gravity is very different from flying or floating. I can control myself during flight or floating. But I can't contol myself now. First a girl come flying through the window and next the gravity is off. I think I'm hallucinating. This is one of the weirdest adventures I've ever been on. Well, no, I've done some strange stuff, but in outer space? No. The cafeteria is full of floating kids and food, so I kick my way over to the door, Ender-style.

The corridors are mostly empty and I'm able to push myself to my room. The others don't care about no gravity. They float just fine anyway. Momo laughs. "It comes of being a human. Come on! Ditch that form!"

"I'm in school," I protest.

She just laughs. "Lunch isn't over, and no one's going to bother you in your room."

I sigh but slowly silde out of my human form and take Kin's form. Because it's a magical form, i'm able to float quite comfortably in it and I sit crosslegged in the air with the others. I hate hiding my magic in my human form, but I have to hide it and not use it so my enemies can't track me. Up in space, I'm a sitting duck. Kin opens up his backpack and pulls out a Hanafuda deck. Aoi, Momo, Kin, and I start a game. Momo-chan wins. I think she cheated. She giggles and denies it.

"Anyone want to play extreme Hanafuda?" Aoi asks with a mischievous grin. Momo-chan giggles, but Kin shakes his head. "There's not enough time. Andrew, there's a class coming up quite soon."

I moan. I don't want to go back into my human form. I make a puppy-dog face at Kin, but he orders me to go to class. I sadly slip back into Andrew's body and promptly fall to the floor. The gravity's back on.

I make my way to my class but I'm stopped by some hall monitor. She wants me to go the principal's office on "urgent matters". She looks a bit young, but I go anyway. As soon as I get there, I'm surprised to see that the principal is nowhere to be found and there are instead a number of students inside the office. One of them offers her hand to shake and I recoil. She tucks it back in and says, "Hello, Andrew. I happen to know that you supposedly have a mental illness, and, as new captain of this ship, it is my job to make sure nothing happens to you. Plus, I think you might have some kind of talent that will be useful to us."

I don't get it at all. I bet I'm hallucinating. I'm probably rolling around on the ground screaming while some nurse tries to tranquilize me. Or better yet, this whole space thng is made up and I'm actually in an asylum. That's just like my parents, to stick me in a theoretical asylum.

The girl smiles. "My name is Gemma," she says. "And we're taking over this school."

Charlie ~

I could sense Gemma concentrating, and her thoughts ran fleetingly through my mind. One in particular stood out, shocking me slightly.

"Uh, Gemma," I said, staring at her.

"You got that?" she asked with a sly grin. I nodded. She turned to Noah.

"I don't know what caused this, but we're taking advantage of it." Noah looked suspiciously at her.

"What do you mean, 'taking advtantage of'?" he asked. She grinned.

"We're going to take over the school!" Gemma replied. Noah looked at her for a second, then at me, as if to ask if this were really her idea. I shrugged. Then he grinned.

"All right!" he said. "What do we do?"

---

"Can you sense anything?" Gemma asked me. We, along with several other kids we'd recruited, were crouching by the door of the Principal's office. I was trying to sense any thoughts to tell what was going on inside. I'd never actually tried to read someone's thoughts or emotions, I always just felt them. I shut my eyes, and reached out my senses.

"He's in there," I said. "He's trying to figure out the whole gravity thing. He doesn't know we're here. He DEFINITELY won't be expecting us."

Gemma nodded like she was satisfied. "On three. One, two, three!"

I'll leave it here for Melody, if she wants to write the whole, "taking over the school" thing.
