Fairytale RP!

Fairytale RP!

Fairytale RP!

So Tovah had once made something like this, and I miss it, so I'm going to recreate it. I was thinking that you could either do a twist on a classic fairytale hero or heroine, or make your own. They go to a private high school to learn to fight aliens.

I'm going to go with the same character I had before.

Name: Gretel Rose

Appearence; Chin-length golden hair that curves in on one side and
curves out on the other. Dark, sapphire-blue eyes, slightly pink cheeks,
pale, small, at 5 ft. Commonly wears long sleeve camo shirt with denim
capris and lace up hunting boots. Or jeans, black t-shirt with Slay Your Own Dragons and a sword
on fire, black hunting boots. Oftenwears a cap. Whether navy blue or
camo.

Personality; Strong, quiet, observant, hard core, ready to fight. Loyal, open, and cheerful around her friends.

Story; So, this is a Hansel and Gretel in the modern world. Southern
girl! Her parents ditched her in the backwoods of Tennessee, in the
Great Smokey Mountains. A hunter thought she and her brother game and
accidentally shot him. (Explains what happens to Hansel.)

Power; She has a strong sense of direction, can see in the dark. Also can channel people's feelings well. Knows what they're feeling.

Weapon: Anything she can throw or shoot, except long spears. She can
throw knives, shoot a gun or bow. Whatever she can get her hands on.

So what do ya'll think? Good or bad idea?

@ The Chocabookaholic: Thank you for topping this! NaNo has kept me really busy, so I haven't gotten a chance to write. But now that I have a brief break, I shall!

Gretel ~

I paced back and forth outside the cottage, growling with frustration. We knew Meg was in there, though despite our calling, there was no reply. We tried every possible waywe knew to get inside, though nothing worked. Not even a scratch showed on the smooth, white paint.

"Well now what?" Ash demanded. Everyone stood back, observing the cottage and looking for a way in, though the mice continued to beat away, still shouting at Meg, assuring her we would get her out. Still, there was no reply.

"We'd need a tank to take this place down," Amy muttered, shaking her head. This sparked an idea.

"That's exactly right, Amy!" I shrieked, jumping up to all four paws. I turned and gave everyone the most maniacal grin ever to be seen on any on any fox anywhere.

"We need a tank, or something like it. And we have just the fire power right here at our hands, or, paws rather."

"Are you nuts? We don't even know how to control that machinerey, and even if we did we're animals!" Aladdin shouted.

I waved my paw airily. "That is entirely beside the point. And anyway, Meg needs our help. That's more important. We'll figure out the technicalities as we go!"

"Yes lets!" the mice shouted, jumping up and down.

"Everybody else?" I asked, and soon we had a joint agreement.

So basically I thought maybe we could use some heavy artillery and bust Meg out, therefore leading to us leaving the school! Thisis just a thought though, it's up to y'all.

Meg without the mice~

I crouched down low, hoping this would aid somewhat in helping my head to not be knocked off. Gretel's plan was, frankly, crazy. This didn't surprise me, of course. She was always like that. A few minutes later, I heard a plane whizzing overhead. The next thing I knew, the cottage's roof had been blown up.

Shards of the roof fell like rain all around me, some landing on my hair. Ash, in human form, tossed down a rope, which I grabbed gratefully. I climbed the rope nimbly, as that had been one of the things Alex had made us practice over and over.

Again guys, that's all I got.

I'm going to write something! Probably!

Ash~

It hadn't occured to anyone, and for some reason, I let them all stay oblivious. It sounded like this was Alex's fault, so I was pretty sure I could make up a wild and extravigant cover if I needed to. I hoped I didn't have to.

The only time it actually came up was when we were back at the weapon and artillery area, and Pip began to ask me why I wasn't changing back into human form--

I cut him off with a quick shake of my head.

I don't know why I didn't say anything. It made everything more complicated, I guess. If everyone else was an animal, then I was one too. If I was human also, well, it seemed too hard. Like I would be expected to have human responsiblities too. I was really better at mostly everything as a cat, so I kept quiet.

"Hey, some of these weapons seem to actually be made for animals!" Snow exclaimed.

"Part of Alex's plan?" I wondered.

"Maybe..." said Amy.

Suddenly, a small tank roared into the clearing. We all jumped back.

Gretel the fox's head popped out of the top. "It's practically made for a fox!" she yelled excitedly. "Can you believe it!"

"No, I really can't," Aladin said flatly.

"I think what you need is a plasma ray made for a monkey!" Gretel said.

"A plasma ray made for a monkey!?" Jerusalem started jumping up and down. Aladin followed him, moaning.

"Come on, everyone! Let's go!" Gretel yelled.

Thing. Throw it away if it doesn't work.

I'm SO sorry Theo!!!! I didn't see what you'd written, I promise. How about we just tweak it a bit so that Meg is rescued by your means, and Ash doesn't go into human form at all? Or not. Whatever you guys decide to do is great!

No it's fine, I've done the same thing before! I'll write a follow up, later where I'll either take out the part with Ash or work it out later.

Okay, I'll try and work out some of the kinks. This'll be short, though.

Meg reunited with the mice~

I was rather surprised, I must say, when the gun of a tank burst through the wall. I jumped out of the way, barely missing it, and had to jump yet again when a thin stripe of plasma shot into the gaping hole made by the tank. A horse with Ash, Jerusalem, and the mice riding it was visible from the hole. It was now apparent that Jersalem was the plasma ray wielder, for he held it triumphantly aloft.

"Meg!" the horse shouted. Now, I wasn't one to be surprised by talking animals, but I wasn't aware there were any talking horses around here. I decided to make the polite choice and respond.

"Right here!" I yelled, but I wasn't able to make much noise over the rumbling the tank emitted. Thankfully, that rumbling soon ceased, and out from the cab leapt- a fox? Indeed, as I glanced about, only animals were in view.

"It's Snow! We were turned into animals, and- well, it's a long story. The better question is, are you alright?" the horse said as she galloped closer.

"Yeah, fine," I grinned, but that wasn't the absolute truth. In reality, my head was pounding and my ears rang as I attempted to piece together what had happened. The tank-driving fox trotted up, rubbing up against my legs.

"You okay?" she asked. "'Cause we were gettin' real worried about you." From the way she spoke I could tell from the first that it was Gretel. Her Southern drawl had escaped again, and I ascertained from the glint in her eye that she had relished freeing me very much.

"I'm okay, I'm okay," I began weakly. "I may have to sit down for a second, though."

"Of course, of course. Being trapped in a hut with no escape must be hard on the mind," Snow said. She let me lean on her as she led me to tank's cab to rest.Once there, I was given some water, which helped little, but I appreciated the thought anyhow.

Gosh, sorry y'all. I've been really busy, so I haven't gotten a chance to write on an RP. But I have some time now, so here we go!

@ Theo: We've had some hilarious RPs, and there have been fantastic scenes, though Fox Gretel driving a tank will forever go down in one of the top 10. I just about died of laughter, I kid you not!

Gretel ~

I was, needless to say, concerned about Meg. Being trapped in an almost inescapable cottage (though I will admit I deeply enjoyed blowing it up), not sure how you got there, and then almost being blasted apart (though I do have fairly good aim) is doubtless going to fry a few nerves and rattle you up. Though I was also worried as to why she alone was chosen to be captured. Sure, we all had been captured and the rest of us were animals, though Meg alone had been left human, and placed somewhere apart from us that aside from explosives, could not be entered or vacated. Why had Alex done this? Why change us into animals, and lock Meg away?

I sat on the floor of the exploded cottage, my tail flicking back and forth as I thought.

"We need to get going," Ash said, evidently thinking along the same lines at me, and was as edgy as I was.

"How do we change from animal form?" Snow asked, raising and waving a hoof.

"I may be able to help with that," a voice from the gap in the smoking wall. A tall, slim figure steps through the smoke. Principal's Edith's face was fairly placid, though with a hint of amusement dancing in her eyes, and a slight smile tugging at her lips.

"How did this happen?" "What happened?" "Where's Alex?" "What are we supposed to do?" "Can you change us back?" All of our voiced clammered together as we all began asking questions at once.

Principal Edith raised her hands for silence, waiting until we were all quiet before beginning to speak.

"First of all, yes, I can change you all back," Principal Edith said, solving our biggest worry first. "As to your other questions, how this happened and why I'm not completely sure. I was not aware this was going to happen. It isn't part of any of the principal's ideas. This was completely on Alex, whom I might add, we have no idea where she is. She seems to have vacated school premises after turning most of you into animals. We're currently working to see what her motives were, and where she is so we can bring her in for questioning. Though, I fear this is all part of something bigger, far bigger. Which is why we trained all of you."

With that, Principal Edith snapped her fingers, and the next thing I knew was much taller, standing on a pair of human legs.

"Well that's a relief," I said. I may be short, but definitely prefered this height to fox size.

"Now, as I was saying, that's why we trained you all," Principal Edith continued, drawing our attention back to her. "We told you that you might have an important mission approaching. Well the time has arrived. I think you're all perfectly prepared for this, at least physically. Emotionally... I can't say. It will be up to each of you to hold your own during this mission. You absolutely cannot allow your emotions to sway you or your judgment, do you understand? This is crucial."

She waited for each of us to nod before continuing. "Alright. We're facing an unknown enemy, meaning we have been threatened but we don't know by whom. You will be our school's form of secret service agents to go in and investigate, and locate this faceless opressor. We believe they're bases are scattered across the United States and Canada. We have some in narrowed down locations. It will be up to you to go and find these bases in our prescribed areas, and gather information. Hopefully, there will be as little physical confrontation as possible, though in any case, you are all fully equipped for any situation. Are you prepared to take this on?"

"Yes m'am," I said in unison with everyone else, though I added a salute at the end.

"Very well, you're jet is being made ready, and you will leave immediately."

We followed her out of the cottage, though I glanced back at the tank, slightly wistfully.

"There's that and better awaiting you, Gretel," Principal Edith said, a small smile on her face. I turned and grinned hugely at her. This was going to be awesome.

**********************************************************************

So we talked about making Alex evil, though we don't have to. But whatta ya about startin' the mission?!
