Hey I know I haven't posted much lately. I also haven't really been writing much. Therefore, to ease back into writing, I propose a roleplay. I promise I'll stick this one out, unlike countless other RPs I have abandoned.
My RP proposal (dun dun dun):
Our characters are children of famous celebrities who are discovering they have magical powers. They then come together in a secret society.

Kituara stood nervously in the corner. The other kids looked like they were having fun, but Kituara couldn't have fun. It was just a fact. If she uttered even one little itty-bitty word, everyone would fall asleep in an instant. Snap! All of the fun gone. A girl walked up to Kitaura and she sulked. Not another person to think she has mental issues!

@ Madeline: I agree, plus we don't seem to have much direction as of currently.
Perhaps to keep POVs straight, we could all make sure to write the character's name at the beginning of the paragraph? Example:
(character name) ~
That just helps to keep names, powers, and authors of the characters straight.
Another idea is instead of posting short, quick, frequent tidbits, we could try to write complete paragraphs, so as to give more insight into each individual character. That forms personality better, and creates distinction amongst the characters.
Again, these are just suggestions. Also, should we form a bit of a gameplan? It just seems to me that we're all wandering around the party, without much of an idea where to go next.

Okay sorry back. I've got an idea to tie it all together don't worry. Sorry, I swear I won't disappear again. I love where you guys have taken the idea though. Okay here's my character:
Name: Marilyn Lovett
Age: looks to be in her 20s, but is actually much older
Physical Appearance: white-blonde hair in a vintage bob, big blue eyes, birthmark of a heart next to her left eyes
Celebrity Parent: early movie director of all the classics, James Lovett
Power: eternal youth
Personality: sarcastic, jaded, yet cheerful
Other: I think I'm going to make her their mentor figure and explain why they're all at the party and how they all have powers. That should tie everything together. That okay with you guys?

Someone's father came in. It must have been Deidre's, because she jumped up and walked to him. He was talking about something to Deidre, and I gasped. My mom was was peeking over Deidre's shoulder, smiling at Deidre! Deidre's father smiled at me. "Is this your boy? Well now," He walked toward me and smiled again. "I'm dating with your mother, Mel. It's nice to meet you." I managed to shake his hand. my mom?! Dating Deidre's father?! Deidre looked as bewilderd as I did. We scooted toward each other and I whispered, "Did you see this coming?" She nodded. "My father wanted a girl for a long time." I shook my head in disbelief. "My mother never really cared for having a husband... Oh man. I really hope they don't get married."

"That's your mom?" Deidre asked, still a little surprised. Her father had only recently begun to date a woman, and Deidre had only seen a little pocket picture of her. She did look just like the picture, except her picture had been a selfie of them with the entire cast of one of Tom's superhero movies.
They walked out as the kids heard a thump on the roof.

I walk up to the telekinetic girl, Thank you. I said telepathically
"Y-your welcome..."
"Whats wrong?"
"Well... it's just... I..."
"I'm sorry, I'm really not trying to pry or any thing... I know how it feels."
"How do you know- sigh -right your telepathic."
"Yes. I am." Suddenly I felt tears prick into my eyes, quickly I run away. My tears hypnotize people. Why am I cursed?!
I run into the bathroom, I start balling, three five years, five years,
she hadn't cried for five years! Five years ago her mom passed on, I
weeped then, and I am weeping now. I'm a failure, the odd one out, abnormal. I wipe the hypnotizing tears off my face, and walk back into the party.
