Keeper of the Lost Cities RP!!!!!
I know that not that many people read this book, but you can still join. The limit is six more people, and I already have a spot reserved for Blonde Heroines Rule. Here's my character.
Name: Kasira Bay
Age: 14
Ability: Telepath
Appearance: long, waist-length blond hair that sort of shimmers; blue-green eyes with specks of gold; tall and willowy.
Personality: she's quiet and sweet and loyal; she'll do anything for a friend and cares about others; she has no enemies, and everyone likes her.
So, what should we do for the plot?

Ability: Inflictor
Appearance: Short, chin length layered blonde hair, dark blue sapphire eyes, short in height, pale skin.
Personality: Quiet, observant, tough and a little sarcastic, but also fun loving and caring, but she prefers to hide it most of the time.
Perhaps we coul do something along the lines of going to Foxfire and all, but getting involved with the Council, and some mission? Something to do with the Forbidden Cities, or even including the Black Swan?

This idea just hit me but we can throw this out:
We work for the Black Swan, and are sent to monitor the Counsel therefore acting like normal elves who attend Firefox and all. I dunno, it's up to you.

Okay, to understand the RP you need a bit of an overview of the book (I'll try to do as few spoilers as possible):
The series is about a girl named Sophie Foster who finds out she's an elf, though they're not what we usually picture them to be. They look like humans, only they dress differently. (Usually tunics and pants with capes and cloaks, though girls wear dresses when going about if they're in nobility) and they live in what are called the "Lost Cities", called this because they are lost to humans. For example, Atlantis is a Lost City. Anyway, Sophie we discover is the creation of a group called the Black Swan, whose total motives and reasoning are still unknown. Right now, the Council, a group of elvin leader who are basically the government, want to find them because they are going against elvin law. (Like going into the "Forbbiden Cities" which is the human world.) Though no one knows exactly who is in the Black Swan, or basically anything about them. Sophie has multiple special and enhanced abilities (like she's a telepath with an inpentrable mind) because the Black Swan created her and tweaked her genes. She has information that she can't access stored away in her mind, and is only given clues here and there by the Black Swan to help both humans and elves.
(Sorry, that is a terrible overview but I'm not very good at explaining those sort of things, so Bookbug, if you want to add onto this, go right ahead.)
Anyway, we decided to make an RP based on this. So what to do is just create a character who's an elf. You can give them a special ability (though not everyone manifests one, so it's your choice as to whether or not give them one). The only one you can't have is pyrokinesis (ability to control and conjure fire), cause it's outlawed in the books for being too dangerous. Bookbug chose telepathy, which is fairly rare, and closely monitered. I chose inflicting, though it's extremely rare (in fact only two people in the series can inflict).
We're currently in the process of choosing what we'd like to do for the plot, but there ya go! Glad you want to join!

Blond Heroines Rule pretty much summed up everything. You might also want to know that there are some weird creatures there, like alicorns, which are like unicorns. There are also Bigfoots and Yetis and stuff. There are dinosaurs, even though they look way different from how we know them. To travel, you use a Pathfinder, which helps you travel on light. You need to use a Nexus (a special bracelet) so you won't "fade" into the light. Once your concentration is strong, you don't need a nexus. Also, Foxfire is a school that some people attend. They learn things like bottlling tornados, rainbows, and storms. They learn alchemistry, how to use their abilities, and stuff like that.

The book didn't really mention that many abilities. There's one that can freeze (I forgot the name, maybe BHR remembers). There's also a Technopath. They control machines. You can make up your own.
