Keeper of the

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Keeper of the

Keeper of the Lost Cities RP!!!!!

I know that not that many people read this book, but you can still join. The limit is six more people, and I already have a spot reserved for Blonde Heroines Rule. Here's my character.

Name: Kasira Bay

Age: 14

Ability: Telepath

Appearance: long, waist-length blond hair that sort of shimmers; blue-green eyes with specks of gold; tall and willowy.

Personality: she's quiet and sweet and loyal; she'll do anything for a friend and cares about others; she has no enemies, and everyone likes her.

So, what should we do for the plot?

@ SAVVY44x: Yeah the abilities are a bit confusing unless you've read the series. I recommend something along the lines of talent to control something? Like frosters (control ice), gusters (wind), technopaths (electronics), stuff like that. You could also be an Empath (someone who can sense other people's emotions), or someone who is skilled in something like Elementalism (ability to change objects from one thing to another, like iron to brass, or something like that). Those are some of the options I can think of right off the top of my head. Bookbug might be able to suggest some others.

@ Danie: I would recommend she be 15 just because once they hit 17 & 18 they go to the elite levels (only if your in nobility though, and you're in nobility if you have a special ability) where they're secluded from everyone else and study in the silver and gold towers. As to your special ability, based on your character's personality, Empathy might be a good choice for them! Or being a Polygot would be cool too. One of those two I think would be best.

@ SAVVY44x: I don't think there are any that can see the future, but I'm not sure about ones that can control water. There may be, but I'm not sure. (Not that many are mentioned in the books.) But froster sounds cool! Yes, definitely read the books! Even without needing it for the RP, they're a FANTASTIC series!

@ Danie: Awesome! I guess we'll start when Bookbug gives the okay!

In other news, Everblaze was released today!!! *errupts into hyper screaming* I''M SO EXCITED!!! My copy is in the mail, so fingers crossed it gets here soon!

So I should be writing, but I'm in novel transition and cannot think, so I shall go ahead and kick this off if it's alright with y'all!

Ellowyn ~

I took another glance at myself in the mirror, double checking my appearance. Yup, I looked like a normal, fourteen year old elf, not at all like a secret agent. Then again, I didn't really know what secret agents looked like.

I mentally repeated what my assignment was: "Act like an average Foxfire student. Gather as much knowledge about the Council as possible. Gather as much information about the rebels as possible."

That was it. Three sentences. It didn't seem like much, but just what all those three sentences meant was enormous. If I were to be discovered, I had no doubt in my mind that I would be exiled. But the Black Swan needed an inside operative, and I was one of the best candidates.

I followed the winding paths toward the large glass dome of the Foxfire school. Thankfully, this was only rehearsal for the opening ceremonies, and the pressure wouldn't start till the following week. Though I wasn't keen on having to dress like a furry mastadon and learn an entire dance. Oh well, here goes nothing.

************************************************************************

So I thought we would start with the opening ceremonies, though if y'all want to skip that we don't have to.

Kasira~

I took a deep breath. I could do this. I had to. I couldn't ruin my chance of going to Foxfire. This was my first year, and it took the Council a lot of convincing to get me here. I know I'll try hard.

I walk to teh front doors. They look so serious and intimidating. I release my breath and open the door.

When I enter, elves are crowded in the halls, chatting an dtalking about their schedules. I put my stuff in my locker and head to Elementalism.

When I get there, I'm only the second person. The other one is a girl sitting stiffly at her table. "Hi," I say, sitting down. "I'm Kasira."

"Hi," she says tersely. I wonder why she's acting so weird.

~

Sorry, that's all I can do now.

Reading the first book :D

Jerany~

I look around nervously. Gee, the black swan really wants all of this from us. Can't believe they sent me to the Firefox school. I heard there was another kid who also was doing this job. Elloy? Ellaina? Ellyown? Whatever. I finally find the school, it's glass dome shining brightly. I sigh and open the doors toward the school.

There are people everywhere. I groan slightly and try to remember where I'm suppose to go. Ah, Elementalism. I find my way towards it, only to find two people already there. They look at me, one who is surprisingly stiff.

"Er... Hi?" I say, my shyness getting a hold of me. One of the girls smile, while the other nods as stiffly as the rest of her body.

"I'm Kasira," the girl replies, looking at me like I'm some kind of spy... Erp. I nervously look down and pick a seat. The other girl looks at me and nods carefully. Ah, she's the other girl. Elloy or Elloyown. Or was it Ellowyn?.. Maybe. I look at her and nod back.

Ellowyn ~

I sit rigidly in my seat as I wait for Elementalism to begin. Normally, subjects were taught one on one between mentor and student, but this year things were different.

One girl walks in, taking one of two seats beside me.

"Hi," she says, "I'm Kasira."

"Hi," I reply, somewhat curtly. I really didn't have time to be social. I was already focused enough on keeping an eye and ear open for everything, plus I was keeping a lookout for some of the other opperatives that were supposed to be here as well. We'd never met in person, since the Black Swan thought it would be best if we were able to act as much as possible like we'd never met before.

I'd been given a list of names of the others so I could locate them, though at the moment the majority of the names slipped my mind. Kasira sounded familiar, though I wasn't positive. I wasn't going to make any notions unless I was sure.

Just then another girl came in, looking shy and nervous. Something about her though seemed familiar, and it hit me I'd seen her before. I also knew she was one of the Black Swan's other operatives.

"Hi?" she asked, looking at us both with a very timid expression.

"I'm Kasira," the other girl replies. I don't say anything, but give her a simple, knowing nod. She understand it right away, and nods in return. The girl sitting between us looks back and forth at us out of the corner of her eyes. She doesn't say anything, but she evidently thinks something is up. I wonder if the's also an agent. I didn't dare say anything though, as more kids begin to file in, taking seats around the table. After several minutes, the mentor walks in, and our lesson in Elementalism begins.

Kasira~

At lunch, I have no idea where to go. I'm new here, so I don't know anyone. I look at over at the table where the two kids I met earlier are sitting. Ellowyn and Jerany. I walk over to their table. "Mind if I sit here?" I ask.

They both look at each other. "Sure," Jerany finalyl said. I sat down, relieved. That wasn't as bad as I thought. I chat with them for a while about classes, but I can tell they were hiding something. Something bad. Everyone now and then, they glanced at each other with a knowing look.

After classes, I asked Ellowyn if she wants to come over to my house. "Uh..." her voice trailed off. I shrugged. "It's okay. You don't have to." She walked away quickly. I was left with wounded feelings. I took out my Lightleaper and leaped home.
