Yeah! That's a good name! And then... I know this already happened, but maybe the questgoers have to go to Tartarus to assemble the pieces and find Gaea's heart in there, then destroy it?

No, not Tartarus, remember how we made up that whole thing about monsters coming from somewhere besides Tartarus? I think there'll be a passage in Tartarus to the core of earth and source of monsters

alright, alright. We need to find Nereus the old man of the sea, who will tell us that we have to find all five pieces of the kardiastone, and that once we assemble it, we must use it to defeat the heart of earth.
We will take a shortcut through Tartarus to get there.

"Rolecall!" I barked. "Justice!"
"Here!"
"Helena!"
"Hereherehereherehere most definitely herehereherehe-" the enthusiastic young demigod replied.
"OK, that's enough, Helena."
"Winters!"
"She's hereherehere most defin-" helena started to yell, but I cut her off.
"Helena, Winters can speak for herself."
"I'm here." Winters said, rolling her eyes.
"Chris?"
"Here!"
"Joshua?"
"Here."
"Unfortunately," I muttered under my breath. Then I cleared my throat, "Ahem."
Everyone turned their eyes on me.
"So!" I said. "Gaia has risen. She spawns monsters from the heart of earth...not Tartarus."
There were some mutterings.
"We need to find a way to stop this."
Awkward silence. I didn't know what to say next; I felt really stupid. I had no idea what to do and where to go.
Someone pushed through the crowd. It was that unclaimed kid named Jacob.
"We need to find Nereus!" he yelled. "The old man of the sea. He knows everything. we need to catch him, and he will answer one question."
"Do you know where we can find him?" I asked.
"San Fransico."
Louder mutterings, and some protests. San Fransico was where the Mist was strongest, and there were also loads of monsters there. It was near Mount Othyrs and the Garden of the Hesperides.

i thought for a moment, then sighed, "Okay, then San Fransico it is."
Everyone cheered and marched out of camp, some aboard Pegasi.
For a moment I just stared at my fellow questgoers.
More than one of these people will be doomed, a tiny voice in my head whispered. Maybe even you.
I was leading these people, but was I leading them to their doom?
I pushed the thought out of my mind. I needed to focus on other things.

"Yes, San Fransico," I mutter to myself, although I seem to be the only person happy about it. Everyone hates San Fransico because it's so full of Mist, but that's exactly why I love it! It gives me a lot of strength, and I can see right through the Mist.
"What're you so happy about?" Helena demands as we rise on our pegasi.
"San Fransico,"I reply. "It's full of Mist."
"Exactly! That's why it's so terrible!" Helena exclaims. "We can't tell monsters from each other and our swords will turn into pens and you'll be able to zipper up my mouth again and we won't be able to figure out what's a monster and our weapons will be disguised and you'll be able to make snakes crawl on me again and the monsters will be able to sneak up on us and our weapons will become Slinkies and you'll-"
I shove a sock into her mouth.
"Thank you," someone sighs from in front of us. I grin.

My dad (or Oceanus, whchever you wish) walked up on teh porch and stood next to me. He radiated wih power.
"So. Here for some pre-quest pep talk?"
"Soething like that, yes."
"Well?"
My dad was silent for a moment. He looked out over the ocean."Well, first you must go talk with Nerus."
"The guy that smells like gym socks and morphs into fish and stuff?"
My father put his hand to his temple and muttered somehting about teenagers. "Yes Jacob, that very one. The old man of the sea."
"Why are you helping me?"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I mean, You're a titan and-"
"Jacob, if Gaia is allowed to resurface. Then both the titans and the gods will fall. Gaia is ruthless, she cuts down anyone in her way to power. If she comes back, she will wipe out the face of this planet and everyone in it."
"Oh." I said in a small voice.
"He walked ver to hte steps. "Now i must go. Good luck on your quest." With that, he walked down the steps, back to the lake, and dissapeared beneath the surface.
