CBers VS Zombies

CBers VS Zombies

CBers VS Zombies Story

1. I am the only one writing the story. It is sort of like Brookeira's fantasy story, but I will be using YOU with all your personality quirks as the characters.

2. I may not be able to post a lot.

3. Writing a story with all of you CBers as the main characters would be hard, so I'll be choosing two, three, maybe four people to be the "main" characters.

4. Please fill out the form below. Honestly, I don't know some of you that well, and I want to write your characters as close as to the real, awesome you as possible.

I love this. If you can't have me as a main character, I'd love to be a random minor character singing the praises of Kefka and the Sun before being zombified.

CBer Name: Ruby

Any fighting experience: I've been in fights before and can defend myself pretty well, unless being attacked by a large group. I know how to shoot a gun. Due to certain circumstances, I don't think I would have many qualms with harming a person.

My CBer Appearance: I guess I'll use my regular appearance. I'm very small: five foot four and 110 pounds. Scrawny. I can run very fast, though. I have very long hair. It's at my shoulders and brown. I have glasses and have a very hard time with depth perception and spacial awareness because my eyes don't work very well. Speaking of that, I don't have good motor skills and drop things a lot.

Alter Egos: Naaaah.

A location: CA is fine.

Major fandoms: I like the Evillious Chronicles, the Dark Souls series, classic RPGs, and other things that probably aren't that common here.

Hogwarts House: Slytherin

Favorite Color: Red

Favorite way to dress: T-shirts and shorts

Any Hobbies: Reading, occasional writing, running, programming, video games, being a nerd

Place I really want to go/Things I really want to do: I don't have any big plans. Because of my illness, I likely won't be able to accomplish as much as other people in life.

CBer Name:

Teresa

Any fighting experience (in real life):

No, not really. One of my friends have taught me a few self denfense moves but nothing more.

Your CBer Appearance:

Um, just picture me as a girl and then let your imagination go wild!

Any Alter Egos, their personalities, and their powers:

I have no alter egos.

A location: (not necessarily your in real life location, just a location I can put you coming from):

Let's see, let's just say in a small quaint town surrounded by woods with lots of streams.

Any major fandoms:

Um, Merlin, Librarians, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and classics are probably what would be considered my main ones.

Hogwarts House:

According to my friends, I'm a Huffleravendor. So, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Gryffindor.

Favorite Color:

purple, green, blue

Favorite way to dress:

Well, this is hard to say. I'm usually always wearing a cross necklace and jeans, but occasionally I wear a skirt or dress. With the jeans, I usually wear a nice shirt, a plain tank top with a white or grey sweater, a plaid shirt, or just a sweater. In the summer, I wear tees that are either pretty plain or have words and graphics all over them.

Any Hobbies:

dancing, writing, reading, cooking, blogging, making crafts, talking to my friends

Any places you really want to go or things you really want to do?

I'd like to go to Europe and visit every state in the US. I'd really like to be able to work with kids, teach, write a book, knit a blanket and do something cool in the world.

Blonde Heroines Rule sighted down the arrow and let fly. It hit the exact center of the target. She let out a deep breath and turned as the contestant after her, a tall girl with straight, shoulder length white-blonde hair and vibrante green eyes, shot. The tall girl's arrow hit slightly to the left of the target. Blonde Heroines Rule stared at the girl. She felt like she knew her from somewhere . . . but where?

The first round finished and four of the eight people were eliminated. Both the blonde girl and BHR were stepped up to the next level. BHR waited as the two people before her shot. Then she sighted down her arrow, trying not to let her hands tremble. She let go. It flew straight and strong, but hit the right of the center of the target. The blonde girl shot and her arrow hit a bit up and to the left. Nervously, Blonde Heroines Rule waiting as the judges discussed who would be the winner. "And the winner is . . . Ben Smith!" Blonde Heroines Rule sighed. The blonde girl remarked, "I think they chose him just because he looks good." BHR laughed and nodded. Ben Smith was tan with sandy hair and blue eyes, and all the judges except one were girls. "Do I know you?" Blonde Heroines Rule asked the blonde girl. "You seem familar."

"Well, on the Chatterbox I go by Brookeira."

"You're Brookeira? Cool! I'm Blonde Heroines Rule!"

"Nice to meet you, mate. Do you want to go get coffee or something?"

"Sure. There's a really nice coffee place 'round here: it's a library, really, but you can buy coffee and drink it in the cafe."

"Ooo, I like the sound of that."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Danie was finally playing the new video game! It had top-notch graphics, it didn't rubber band at all, and it hosted almost a million people.
Danie manuvered her character, a she-warrior from the Isliine Mountains named Daniellia C.B., through the rocks and down the mountains to the city. Her character was running low on money and she was hoping to snab a quest. She saw a masked character and, hoping it was one of those bards with quests, had her character walk over. The character's owner said, "What is your reason for bothering me?"
"I'm sorry, I thought you were an AI with one of those quests."
"Wait, Daniellia C.B. . . do you Chatterbox?"
"Yup. I go by Danie on there. Who are you?"
"I'm Somebody. Do you still want a quest? I know where to get easy quests."
"That would be great."
Ruby unfolded his map and stared at it. According to the map, he should be right by the path. So where was he? He frowned and folded it back up again. Stupid tour guide should have just waited for him to drink his water instead of wandering off.
Ruby walked for what felt like several hours before seeing a house. An ordinary house, not very big, not very small, painted a pleasent shade of blue. What was it doing here, in Death Valley? Wondering if it was a mirage, he walked over. He knocked on the door. Not a mirage, then. The door was opened by a girl, about eleven, maybe twelve, with straight brown hair and braces. "Who are you?"
"I'm Ruby. I'm sorry to bother you, but I got los-"
"Ruby? Ruby M? FROM THE CHATTERBOX??"
"Yes, I do go on the Chatterbox. . . why?"
"I go on the CB too . . . I'm Somebody!" Somebody exclaimed. "Come on in."
Ruby stepped inside. Somebody sat down in front of their computer. "They're lemonade in the kitchen," Somebody told Ruby. Ruby walked into the kitchen and got himself some lemonade, then sat down in front of the TV and flicked it on to the news.
". . . An infestation of zombies," Said a chic brunnette reporter, in front of a bunch of roaming zombies.
Ruby poked Somebody. "Look at this!" Somebody turned and gaped. "Wait, where is that?" Ruby shrugged. "Not sure exactly, but somewhere up north- Wait, that's Teresa!" Ruby exclaimed, pointing to a brown-haired girl with dark purple glasses, face pressed, staring, against the window of a house in the background. The reporter got zombified and the connection was lost, but Ruby was sure of what he had seen. "Do you have another computer I could use?" Ruby asked Somebody. Somebody replied, "Yeah sure just use that laptop over there." Ruby quickly logged on to chatzy.
Ruby joined the chat.
Indigo: Hey Ruby!
Air: Hullo Ruby.
Indigo: How are you?
Ruby: Did you see the news? There's zombies! And then Teresa . . . Teresa is there! I saw her!
Indigo: Oh my gosh we need to save her!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Blonde Heroines Rule laughed, sipping her coffee. Brookeira grinned too, then her grin dissolved. "Look at that! On the news! Zombies!" Blonde Heroines Rule spun around. "Zombies?" Then: "THATS TERESA!!" BHR ran over to one of the library's computers and went to the CB Chatzy room. Brookeira sat down next to her. BHR typed in the password and logged in. "I know the password!" Brookeira said gleefully. "Do you now," BHR said absent-minedly. "Yup! Ten little black circles!"

BHR joined the chat

BHR: Have you seen the news? We need to save Teresa!

Indigo: Agreed!

Air: First we need to find a way to get to her!

BHR: I can grab a helicopter and pick you guys up!

BHR left the chat.

Air: Um, BHR, that probably isn't the best idea . . .

Indigo: too late . . .

Air's ZA notes, entry 1.

Well, it's here. The zombie apocalypse. It's funny, I've never thought of it as... really ever happening. Of course, I've thought of where I'd go, what I'd do. But... for real?

I didn't even hear about it -- I don't really read or watch the news -- but Ruby logged into Chatzy this morning. Teresa in the town with the zombies? BHR going to pick all the CBers up in a helicopter?

I'm not sure if all this is real or not, but I'm ready, I hope. BHR said she tracked me down -- or at least she's picking me up in a helicopter somehow. Not sure if that's the best way, but okay. I'll see if I can pack some things, including this notebook. It's not quite the best notebook to record the apocalypse -- lime green plastic cover, spiral binding, college rule -- more like for vocab at school. Oh well. A notebook is a notebook is a notebook.

Only thing to do now is wait.

Ruby was sitting next to Somebody and watched as she battled the ice dwarf who held the scroll she was questing for, occassionally giving a few choice words of advice when BHR dropped down Somebody's chimney. "Hey BHR," Ruby said, still watching Somebody's character. Somebody, on the other hand, jumped up. "Ruby told us about Teresa and the zombies. Danie and I want to help."

"Sure," BHR said. "Just hurry."

Somebody and Ruby hurried outside, where the helicopter was hovering. Brookeira threw down a ladder. Somebody, Ruby, and BHR scrambled up. BHR yanked the ladder up. In no time at all the helicopter was moving along towards Danie's house at a breakneck speed.

"BHR DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO PIOLT ONE OF THESE???" Somebody screamed.

"I've watched movies and I think I know the controls pretty well," BHR replied, unfazed.

Meanwhile, Ruby puked out the window on the unsuspecting head of a seagull that happened to be flying by. This made Brookeira laugh.

They screeched to a stop on Danie's roof. BHR scrambled down the ladder and got Danie, then the two of them scrambled back up into the helicopter.

"This time, fly slow," Brookeira pleaded.

"Fine," BHR said with a sigh, and slowed the helicopter down to about 80 miles per hour.

"You call that slow?" Somebody complained.

"How are we going to pick up Misit?" Ruby asked. "Doesn't she live in England?"

"Yeah," BHR replied, "but she's visiting Indigo."

They hovered above Air's roof for a few minutes as BHR looked around for Air. "She's not there," BHR finally called. Just then, a white SUV turned the corner and screeched to a stop, the driver staring, open mouthed, at the helicopter. Air jumped out of the SUV and ran over to BHR. "What is it?" Air asked.

"Zombie Apocolypse. Teresa in danger."

Air nodded and scrambled up the ladder, with BHR close behind.

Five minutes later BHR dropped into Indigo's backyard and knocked on her back door. Misti opened it. "BHR?!?"

Indigo came running over, two bowls of soft serve ice cream in hand. "What is it?" Misti nodded to BHR. Indigo tried to cross her arms but almost dropped the soft serve ice cream. "What is it?"

"Zombie Apocolypse. Teresa in danger."

Misti clambered up the ladder, her soft serve ice cream in hand. Indigo and BHR followed her.

"Please, BHR," Somebody begged. "I have a delicate stomach. Go very slow."

BHR sighed. "Is sixty mph to fast for you?"

"I suppose not," said Somebody.

"That's too bad. Because if we went that slow, it would take fourty hours to get there."

Blonde Heroines Rule turned the helicopter towards the Canadian/American border, which was near where Teresa lived. Soon the helicopter was going as fast as BHR could make it go.

The first hour was tense, with occassionally someone asking why it was taking so long or worrying they would be too late. By the second hour, Indigo and Misit had gotten over the speed enough that they were tentativly eatting their soft serve ice creams with varying amounts of sucess; there were quite a few spills and some jokes about the art of eating melted ice cream while flying at 240 miles per hour. By the third hour, all the ice cream had been eaten, all the jokes told, and a few arguments had begun. BHR had had a sticky spoon stuck in her hair that she didn't know about and giving Misti the silent treatment until she told BHR why she kept saying, "BHR, do you know what is in your hair?" Ruby was constantly trying to get the ice cream off his fingers. By the fourth hour, silence had fallen. No one was talking, just watching the scenery pass and trying not to throw up. By the fifth hour, a few people had fallen asleep. By the sixth, everyone except BHR was asleep. At the seventh, Indigo almost sleepwalked out the window, which caused some commotion and some anger at Indigo. At the eighth, everyone was asleep again. BHR woke up Ruby and asked Ruby to pilot the helicopter for the last two hours so she could get some sleep; her break only lasted twenty minutes as Brookeira woke her up to tell her that they were about to run into a tree. At the ninth, Air and Indigo started a game of cards that was quite pleasent dispite the fact Somebody desperatly needed to go to the bathroom. At the tenth, everyone was tensely staring out of the windows and waiting for the first sign of zombies. At long last the tenth ended and they arrived at Teresa's town.

I was right! Haha! I was totally right!

That's what I've been saying for ages: "_______ when the zombies come." BHR's helicopter driving is AWESOME! Though I decided it was best to pretend otherwise for the sake of those who disagree. But I'm going to get to that helicopter first tommorrow and I'M GONNA ROCK THE SKIES!

Late. Tired. Write more later.
