Magic Rp!!&n

Magic Rp!!

This RP is set in a land where some people have some kind of magic powers fitting to their kingdom. Some people do not have magic powers. They are just normal humans. There are five kingdoms: Earth Kingdom; Water Kingdom; Air Kingdom; Fire Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the smallest more like a city than a kingdom. Each kingdom has a king and queen and the rulers of the Msagic Kingdom are in charge of all the kingdoms. There is also a small kingdom known as the Dark Tribe that wants to take over the five kingdoms and use all the people as slaves. The Dark Tribe has no powers of their own, and so they want to find out the secret of the magic that the people have.

The Plot:

The Dark Tribe plans to capture the prince or princess of each kingdom and one non-royal person to hold for ransom and the ransom is that to get the kids back, the rulers must give up their kingdoms. None of the people know this. The charries will be the ones being kidnapped and they will find a way to escape.

Rules:

1. Only one charrie per person.

2. Ten people maximum allowed to be part of the kingdoms. If you come after that you can give me ten good reasons and I might let you in, but you have to be a human.

3. No one is the king or queen of any kingdom, but you can be a prince or princess.

4. Only one prince or princess per kingdom.

5. Two main charries per kingdom.

6. All charries are 15

7. Five people can be in the Dark Tribe if they want.

Sub-charries are allowed, but you may only have one. No more than five sub-charries.

Powers should fit your position and kingdom, for example you could be the prince of the fire kingdom so you can control all fire, lava, etc. If you were a commoner of the fire kingdom you might have the power to make volcanoes erupt or maybe you could create fire from your hands. The piont is that if you are a prince or princess, you have all the powers of your kingdom. If you are non-royal (commoner) then you have one power like for the earth kingdom, talking to animals.

Here is my charrie:

Name: Skye Ransing

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Kingdom: Magic Kingdom

Position: Princess

Powers: She can control the elements (earth, air, fire, water), has healing powers and she can change what she looks like (turn into an animal, change hair color, etc.).

Appearance: Tall (5'5"); long, wavy auburn hair that goes down to her knees; usally wears a plain t-shirt with blue jeans. Always wears a necklace on a gold chain with an aquamarine surronded by gold. It was a gift from her mother who died whed she was five. Skye fiddles with her necklace whenever she is thinking, excited or nervous. She is very pretty, but doesn't care.

Personality: Bouncy; kind; very intelligent. She is good at making plans. Kinda tom-boyish.

Other: Her father (the king) always wants her to act like a proper princess, but she hates it. She has to take lessons on things like posture and manners and dancing. She usally skips some of her lessons and goes off hunting instead.

Well good, Dragon ride. I was afraid you wouldn't like how I put your charrie in a lot of dramtic, dangerous situations....

But you're like me, as long as it makes for a good story.

(I now sort of understand how authors can kill off characters....SORT OF...JK Rowling, I love you but I get very angry with you sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Now, who did that?

Someone did. Someone impersonated me. Who did it...?

Come on. Speak up. I'm irritated.

Really? Uh oh...

Rain~

I use my wind to lift us out of the heap of rubble, two at a time. When we all are finally out we stand under the porch of a building that still has its roof, but not its walls. "We need to stay together! No running off!" Magma states. We all agree and nod.

"It's getting dark, we need a place to stay," I whisper, adjusting my dull red dress, that would be pretty if it wasn't torn along the bottom.

Skye nods,"Yea."

"But where?" Alexys asks.

"We should be able to find some sturdy place amidst all this rubble," Magma says.

And then Fiona made a mistake. She tripped, and fell face first into one of the wobbly poles holding up the fragile roof above us.

It started to fall.

Fiona wouldn't make it up in time and the rest of us were all too startled to escape. So I reacted.

A roaring wind swooped in, sending the roof flying about twenty feet away from us. I fell back on the ground in immense pain. Nobody was grateful for me saving them.

Skye slowly turned to me, scared. "Rain, you said you could only lift only like three people!"

The others turn, realizing what Skye said is true. "I-I...."

"Why?" Magma looks hurt and betrayed.

"It hurts me. It c-causes me pain to lift that much."

Magma's exspression remains. "You know very well you could have told us that, Rain. Why? Why did you lie?"

I breathe heavily from my aching sides and look down. I don't trust you. "U-uh.."

Rain, prepare to lie.

Aquamarine~
We stood on top of a roof, which I honestly didn’t think was a good idea considering the unsteadiness of the architecture here. But I kept that thought to myself.
Magma was gently scolding Alexys when suddenly Fiona tripped and sent what was left of the structure tumbling.
I screamed and closed my eyes. Then I became aware I was floating above the ground with the others. Rain had lifted us all up just in time.
I opened my mouth to thank her, but Skye spoke, "Rain, you said you could only lift only like, three people!"
Wait, what? Skye was right.
“Why?” Magma asked, looking betrayed.
"It hurts me. It c-causes me pain to lift that much," Rain stuttered nervously.
"You know very well you could have told us that, Rain. Why? Why did you lie?" She ranted on, “Well, good thing you saved us just now. But what about when I was badly hurt and the Dark Tribe was right behind us and all was chaos, and you just couldn’t lift us? And because of that, we ran off a cliff. We were lucky Isabel saved us, then. We were in such more of a dire situation than we were just now. I mean, we could have been killed just now, but there was more of a possibility of death then! This building really isn’t that high up. So what’s your excuse?”
I looked at Magma, her hair sparking and her face twisted in fury. She looked…intimidating. I glanced at Rain, who gazed warily at Magma, looking like she was debating herself. She seemed scared. Then she took a deep breath and replied,
"U-uh…well…I was p-pretty tired after w-we had just escaped, and I c-couldn’t have handled the p-pain. But just now, I mean, w-we’ve had some rest t-time, s-so I’m stronger."
I looked into her frightened eyes, and I could tell she wasn’t telling the truth. But I didn’t press her. Instead, I rushed to her rescue.
“Magma, Magma, calm down a little,” I said gently. “Don’t blame Rain. It’s perfectly understandable that she couldn’t lift us all earlier, when she probably was probably drained from fighting. Like we all were. You can’t get really upset at someone for not being able to do something. Haven’t all of us failed at some point during our…adventure? Yes, we did. And yet we’re still here, and almost home. Shouldn’t we be showing her gratitude, not scorn? She saved our lives.” I turned to Rain, who was looking relieved. “Thank you.”
The others mumbled their thanks accept for Magma, who didn’t say anything. She didn’t argue, but she didn’t apologize. That was okay.
We trudged on past Dalouin and through the massive plain, occasionally stopping for food, water, and sometimes a bathroom break. Isabel would have complained bitterly about using the restroom outdoors. It’s funny how sometimes you miss the things about someone that used to annoy you.
********
We took up shelter in an abandoned log cabin. It was rotting and filled with dead bugs. I found several dead cockroaches in the corner, which was disgusting.
I found some edible, nonpoisonous herbs nearby and made an organic salad to go with the food the street boys had given us.
I wolfed down my meal and headed outside, leaving the others still eating. I saw Rain perched on a log, gazing at the night sky. I went over and sat down next to her.
“Hey,” she said. Her grayish eyes looked different in the dark. They seemed to glow faintly, which made her look very mysterious.
“Nice night, huh?” I replied. “You know, I’ve always been fascinated by stars. They’re so far away, and there are so many of them, but nobody really knows what they are.”
“I like to think of them as angels, though I don’t truly believe they are,” Rain told me, then covered her mouth, looking embarrassed.
“No, that’s okay. I really like that idea. I really enjoy hearing other people’s thoughts, so you don’t have to worry about me being critical or anything like that. I like to imagine things about the stars, too. Like that they’re different worlds, different planets. That people like us live on. Maybe those people don’t realize they’re just glowing beacons to others. Maybe our earth is just a star to them.”
“I think of stars as angels because that makes me feel protected. Like that there are hundreds of spirits of watching me, guiding me, sometimes allowing me to have a little suffering now and then, to help me be prepared for lots of situations. But…I’m not good at that kind of thing. A lot of times, unless I’m on a train of thought that means a lot to me, I get all stiff and I start to stutter.”
“Well, did you realize that you haven’t stuttered even once just now? I guess the stars mean a lot to you.”
“Yeah, I guess.”
There was a moment of silence.
“Rain,” I said. “What you said earlier about not having enough strength, that…that wasn’t exactly true, was it?”
Rain stared deep into my eyes. “Can I trust you?”
“Yes. I have never broken a promise or let out a secret.”
She sighed. “Okay, I think I can trust you, Aqua.” Then she whispered in my ear so softly only I could hear.
“Aqua…the truth is…I d-didn’t trust Magma. I wasn’t sure I wanted to help her. I mean, I know she isn’t evil, or a member of the Dark Tribe or anything, but I’m not c-omfortable around her. I mean sometimes, I am, when we’re c-crying together or laughing, but she sort of sc-scares me when she’s mad.”
“That’s okay,” I whispered back. “You’re still nice to her and everything, and you don’t fight with her, so you’re really brave.”
“Brave?”
“Yes. You may not believe it, but you’re brave. And it’s good you told me, because it’s not good to keep everything bottled up inside of you.”
She hugged me. “Thanks, Aqua. You’re a true friend.”
We headed back to the cabin without another word and fell asleep.

Where did that lecture come from? Wow, I am amazed at myself.

Rain~

Truth is, I trust no one. Except Aqua, who will be the hardest to betray. I bury my head in my hands, completely mortified by what is to come.

I'm truly powerful.

And the Dark Tribe is using my powers to betray my only friends.

The only friends i have ever made.

The only girls I met that actually accept me for who I am.

No, no. They all have flaws...none of them...are...good enough....I roll over, facing away from the others. I whisper softly, calling a gentle wind to dry my tearful face.

----

Is this okay? Kind of a twist?

Uh, Katydid, please let Rain be a good person and still the girls' friend in the end.

Since Isabel already left for good, please don't make Rain betray us....I really like her. I mean, if you really want that twist, she can almost betray us, but she'll come to her senses and we'll forgive...though Magma can still be pretty mad if she wants.

Just please keep her as a good character. I really want her to remain with us.

Well...she doesn't want to betray them...

How about eventually she comes clean about betraying them? She apologizes and says they threatened her family, and she just now realized that they can protect themselves.

But I refuse to tell you who I am.

Sorry.

Seriously, no more impersonating!

We cant have that kind of thing in our safe RP environment.

Also, besides that point, any way to squeeze myself in?

I think it's okay to still have your perspective.

But please don't run into us, I mean, I think the captive group is done with the Dark Tribe. All remaining drama, I guess, will be amongst ourselves, since Rain added a little twist.

Isabel, however, is separated from the group, so I dont know how close to the Dark Tribe she is.
