Chatterbox: Inkwell

Magic Rp!!&n

Magic Rp!!

This RP is set in a land where some people have some kind of magic powers fitting to their kingdom. Some people do not have magic powers. They are just normal humans. There are five kingdoms: Earth Kingdom; Water Kingdom; Air Kingdom; Fire Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the smallest more like a city than a kingdom. Each kingdom has a king and queen and the rulers of the Msagic Kingdom are in charge of all the kingdoms. There is also a small kingdom known as the Dark Tribe that wants to take over the five kingdoms and use all the people as slaves. The Dark Tribe has no powers of their own, and so they want to find out the secret of the magic that the people have.

The Plot:

The Dark Tribe plans to capture the prince or princess of each kingdom and one non-royal person to hold for ransom and the ransom is that to get the kids back, the rulers must give up their kingdoms. None of the people know this. The charries will be the ones being kidnapped and they will find a way to escape.

Rules:

1. Only one charrie per person.

2. Ten people maximum allowed to be part of the kingdoms. If you come after that you can give me ten good reasons and I might let you in, but you have to be a human.

3. No one is the king or queen of any kingdom, but you can be a prince or princess.

4. Only one prince or princess per kingdom.

5. Two main charries per kingdom.

6. All charries are 15

7. Five people can be in the Dark Tribe if they want.

Sub-charries are allowed, but you may only have one. No more than five sub-charries.

Powers should fit your position and kingdom, for example you could be the prince of the fire kingdom so you can control all fire, lava, etc. If you were a commoner of the fire kingdom you might have the power to make volcanoes erupt or maybe you could create fire from your hands. The piont is that if you are a prince or princess, you have all the powers of your kingdom. If you are non-royal (commoner) then you have one power like for the earth kingdom, talking to animals.

Here is my charrie:

Name: Skye Ransing

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Kingdom: Magic Kingdom

Position: Princess

Powers: She can control the elements (earth, air, fire, water), has healing powers and she can change what she looks like (turn into an animal, change hair color, etc.).

Appearance: Tall (5'5"); long, wavy auburn hair that goes down to her knees; usally wears a plain t-shirt with blue jeans. Always wears a necklace on a gold chain with an aquamarine surronded by gold. It was a gift from her mother who died whed she was five. Skye fiddles with her necklace whenever she is thinking, excited or nervous. She is very pretty, but doesn't care.

Personality: Bouncy; kind; very intelligent. She is good at making plans. Kinda tom-boyish.

Other: Her father (the king) always wants her to act like a proper princess, but she hates it. She has to take lessons on things like posture and manners and dancing. She usally skips some of her lessons and goes off hunting instead.

lsabel~

It's a huge monster of shadow, coming right at us. Magma throws a fireball at it, but it doesn't seem to work. l blast some water and again it doesn't affect it.

"RUN!" Yells Skye. And we do, but the monster is gaining on us. l trip on a rock and go flying into a muddy ditch. Everyone else does too. l make a platform of water and push everyone on it. "Where's the monster?" Asks Rain, gasping for air. It's no where to be seen.

l shrug. "Gone, l guess. Is everyone safe?"

Rebecca~

"Yeah, I think," I reply, getting to my feet.

"Hey, wait a minute," says Skye, holding her hand up. None of us were walking, so nothing happens. "This is called the Dark Tribe, right?"

"Yeah," we chorus.

"And that was a shadow, right?"
"Yeah."
"Dark, shadow..." she seems to muse, and then pops up, crying,"it's an amb-!"
And that moment, about fifty Dark Tribe warriors flood over the next hill. Their weapons vary from diamond arrows to pitchforks, but it doesn't matter, because these guys look mad.

"Run!" Isabel shouts, and we all do, trying to get as far away from this mound of evil as we can. Unfortunately, they're a lot faster than a few fifteen-year-old girls in dresses.

The battle starts, or had it started when the shadow appeared? I'm not really sure, and I don't really care. My main focus is avoiding the weapons the members of this tribe wield, and soon I find myself separated from the group, or maybe we're all disconnected. It doesn't matter.

Blasting fire at anyone unfamiliar, I make my way through the maze of fighters. You would think it would be easy to find someone when it's fifty against seven, but not really. The Tribers don't seem to care who they attack or where they're going.

What a bloodthirsty group.

And then suddenly, the people are gone.

I seem to have pushed my way through right to the center, where there is some sort of small, empty circle. No one notices me, and that's very good, but I'm not sure if I'll be safe here forever.

"Rebecca Flambé," croons a soft voice. All the hairs on my body stand up. I've heard this voice. Heard it quite recently. This is a voice I hoped, against my better judgement, I would never hear again.

"It's you," I reply, staring at the speaker. She's standing straight as a stick, and her hooded eyes are full of malice. Her high cheekbones really stand out when she holds her head this high.

"Yes. I am the one, the only, Malthiena. And I am here to end you." She throws back her head and laughs, a high, cold, mirthless laugh. A few people in the middle of the fray turn their heads, but we still seem to be unnoticed.

"Malthiena," I repeat, tasting the words on my tongue. They taste bitter, like something that refuses highly to beng put in your mouth. In other words, NO GOOD. "The one who ends the great Magma. Interesting. Wasn't killing Zayele enough? You have to kill me, too."

"Oh, no, not yet," she replies smoothly. "Right now you're still up for ransom. But as soon as your pretty little kingdoms hand over their pretty little powers, the Fire Kingdom will have a grave to dig."

I almost loose my grip on this word battle. Powers! That's what the Dark Tribe wants! They want the kingdoms' magical powers!

"Well, sorry to disappoint you," I snort, "but my parents know me. I'm tough. They're probably waiting for me to come back home, full of stories about how I trashed twenty people by myself." Actually, that isn't true. If they got the message, Mom would be crying her eyes out and Dad would try to look strong, but would cry in bed that night. Then they would hand over the magic, and... what would they get from it? A corpse.

No. I defiently wipe off the tears that are brimming in my eyes. I won't let that happen! I will get home, and I will be alive, and the kingdom will be safe and happy.

"Oh, and mummy and daddy will be swo happy to have dare wittle Webecca."

_____

I can't finish, no time to explain! Magma gets a deep cut in her thigh that makes her unable to move, and Malthiena gets knocked out by Magma's fire.

Rain~

"Wheres Magma?" I shout to Isabel.

"I don't know!" she shouts in response.

"BRACE YOURSELVES!!" I scream above the noise. All the girls with me brace themselves and I call my wind, lift us. In seconds we are above the battle. I see a fireball and trade glances with the girls. "I can't move with all of you. Isabel, stay." I set the other girls in a tall tree where the shadows can't really get them and shoot toward the center of the miniscule battle. I see Magma and gasp, as does Isabel.

"Is she...bleeding?" Isabel asks.

I nod and we drift down. The evil lady is tending to her frizzled arm and doesn't notice us until I use my wind to pick up Magma. "NO!" she screeches, rushing at us. I shoot us up, sweat on my brow. "This is too much..." I groan. Isabel looks at me. "No, I can't carry an elephant!" I shoot us away to the the tree, then drop myself right next to it.

My plan works.

My wind drops them on the tree and grabs me, setting me down a lot gentler than they were. "Why did you do that!!" Skye shouts. I give her a shaky grin and look at Magma.

"C-can..you heal her?" I whisper.

She shakes her head. "It's enchanted."

"Rain! Can't you use your wind to carry her?"

I meet their gaze. "Y-yeah..but I might have to drop her occasionally. It's not like I c-can c-carry everything. With my wind I c-can only c-carry about three times the weight I c-can c-carry otherwise...That's why we aren't flying home..."

Aquamarine~
About fifteen or twenty Dark Tribe burst upon us, the leader and Malthiena among them.
A man rushed towards me, sword raised. I levitated a large trunk and swung it towards him. It hit him in the head and he fell to the ground. The other enemies stared at me in shock.
“That commoner had powers?” someone yelled in surprise.
I grabbed the sword from the fallen Dark Tribesman and started dueling with a man. He feinted, and I blocked. Our swords clanged together, and I had no idea where I was getting the sword fighting from. I was in survival mode: Attack. Defend. Attack defend.
At one point, he grasped my wrist, trying to hurt me and disarm me at the same time. Grimacing in pain, I twisted me arm around and struck him in the stomach. He fell.
For a moment I was frozen. I had never hurt anyone like that before. My conscience was playing tug-of-war with me. They wanted to hurt me, but they were human too…right? But they pretty much killed Zayele. They hurt me and my friends. I had to attack or get attacked.
Everything was a blur. I hurled spells at anyone I didn’t recognize. I chased people with stones. I fought with my sword. I punched and kicked and pushed…
Suddenly I heard a scream. I whipped around. Rebecca was lying in the grass, a deep gash near her thigh. She was unable to move, and Malthiena stood by her, grinding her foot into the princess’s arm.
I became blind with rage. That wicked woman had done this to her.
Without thinking, I charged.
“What the-”
I hacked at Malthiena, but she was an agile fighter, and I couldn’t get at her. Desperately I looked around.
Above us was a small cliff, worn by erosion. I dropped my sword and scrunched my eyes up tight.
“Pathetic,” Malthiena cackled.
I shoved her as hard as I could, just as I willed the rocks to come down.
I’d never forget her eyes at that moment. They were round as dinner plates and filled with fury, shock, and hate. The rocks fell on top of her, and only her head was visible.
“Kill them, kill her,” she croaked to a random Dark Tribesman.
The man lumbered up to me. He had intense blue eyes, and I felt a curious sense of déjà vu.
Just as he was a bout to strike me, I whispered, “Father?”
He

Aquamarine (continued)-
......“Kill them, Kill her,” she croaked to a random Dark Tribesman with what was hopefully her last breath.
The man lumbered up to me. He had intense blue eyes, the same color as one of mine, and I felt a curious sense of déjà vu.
He tackled me, and then his knife was at my throat.
Mother has pure green eyes. I didn’t get my blue one from her…
Just as he was about to lunge it deep, I whispered,
“Father?”
The man froze.
Again, I said, “Father? It me, Aquamrine deFlura…”
“Aqua! Is that really you?”
He turned to the leader, who was checking Malthiena’s pulse.
The leader laughed, “Oh, Antony deFlura? I might have forgotten to mention one of the prisoners was your daughter. Go ahead and kill her. You’ve never known her before. She could be a brat. Or a mentally unstable person. She could have a grudge against you. Kill her. We still have the princesses for ransom. I want this one dead for what she did to my wife.”
His wife? Oh, Malthiena.
My father didn’t move a muscle, but he still gripped me hard.
The leader’s voice got cold and deadly. “Kill her, or I will kill her myself. Then I will kill you. And it’ll be nice and painful.”
“I…”
“Aquamarine, I love you. Tell your mother I’m sorry I left her,”he whispered.
Then he plunged the knife.
But not into me. Into, the Dark Tribe leader’s arm.
He was aiming for his heart, but the leader had fast reflexes.
“You traitor,” the leader growled, and he pinned Father to the ground, now his knife at Father’s heart.
“Father!!!!” I screamed as Skye pulled me away and whispered, “Don’t look!”
I joined up with the others and helped carry Magma. The Dark Tribe was still in hot pursuit.
We ran for our lives.
And ran right off a cliff.
As I fell, the same thought repeated over and over again in my mind:
Father’s gone.

l am going to die. l think as the air rushes past me. Then l sense something below me. Water! l push it up with my power, and it eurpts like a volcano.

The others are caught in it, going upward. We keep going higher and higher on the fountain of water. "Stop it!" Yells Skye. "We're going too high!"

"l don't have contral of it any more! l don't know what's happening!" l scream over the roar of water. Then it stops, and puts us down by the muddy shore of a river. The Drak Tribe is no where to be seen.

"What happened?' Asks Magma. "l don't know. It was like someone took contral of the water." l say shivering. Everyone is dripping wet, and it's getting colder.

"Anyone have a ldea where we are?" Everyone shakes their heads. "Because think we're lost. And wet. And night is coming."

"We wouldn't be safe for long. The Dark Tribe will find us, soon." Says  Alexys. l suddenly hear footsteps.

l have this idea that our charries meet a group of boys who were once roltay  from the kingdoms. It's kind of like Katydid's idea.

Aquamarine~

Just as we
were about to crash to our deaths,

The creek
below turned into a geyser, a strong jet of water pushing us higher and higher.
Isabel saved us!

But then we
don’t stop elevating, and Skye yelled, “Stop! We’re going too high!”

Isabel
screamed that she couldn’t control it anymore, and we were thrown into a puddle
of mud.

“Phew. Good
thing we landed in this mud!” Elysa said cheerfully.

“NOT good
thing!” Isabel wailed. “I’m COVERED in mud! Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, this is so
disgusting. A princess should never have to endure…”

“Will you
please SHUT UP!” Magma interrupted her. “Sorry,” she muttered sheepishly. “I
just got so frustrated, I mean, I’m practically paralyzed, and you’re whining
about your skirts getting soiled!”

“Anyone have
any idea where we are? Because I think we’re lost,” Isabel said.

“I think I
know how to find out,” I replied. I whispered, “Echolactiana,” then sang out as
loud as I could. “Laaaaaaaa...” I counted the seconds until I heard the echo
and observed its sound.

“We’re not
too far from the cliff we fell off of, so fortunately, that means we’re near
the Fire Kingdom,” I told my friends. “Unfortunately, that also mean the Dark
Tribe is nearby.”

‘Well the,
we need to keep oving,” Skye said.

*****

After almost
half an hour of walking, we reached the Fire Kingdom and the abandoned city of
Dalouin.

It had been
deserted during a great famine, so now all that was left were empty crumbling
buildings and vicious rats.

We were
walking down an alley when suddenly we heard footsteps.

“Hide!” I
hissed, but there was nowhere to go.

I braced
myself…

It was a
gang of street boys. These people, I knew, were loyal to the Fire Kingdom and
its rulers but could be dangerous if you upset them.

These boys
had multiple piercings, messy and sometimes dyed hair, ripped jeans, and
punk-style clothes.

“Who are
you?” their leader barked, holding his knife in front of him. He was tall and
loomed about sixteen.

Magma
assumed a dignified position and replied, “I am Princess Rebecca of the Fire
Kingdom….

Oh no, gtg,
for a violin lesson. Don’t move on without me!

Rebecca~

"Really?" the boy says, trying not to laugh. "I didn't know a princess would look like this!"
I blush. I am a mess. I never truly cared about what I looked like, but I never looked bad, either. Now a dress of mine is completely ripped and torn, my tiara is lost (which is fine by me, honestly), my hair looks like I've been through a lightning storm, my leg is bleeding like a river, and I'm practically paralyzed.

The boy seems to notice this too. "Well, princess or not, you're going to die from loss of blood. Follow us."

Rain carefully lifts me into the air, and we make our way through the deserted homes.

The boys pause in front of a rather large building. It looks just as abandoned as the rest of the city; some of the glass on the windows have smashed, the door is hanging open on one hinge, and it seems like a beam from the ceiling fell in the entryway. But the boys go in, so we follow.

They ignore the beam and walk up a set of creaking stairs. On the second level, the area is relatively intact; only a few smashed windows. Rain lays me down in a corner, they put something into my shoulder, and I know no more.
