Magic Rp!!&n

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Magic Rp!!&n

Magic Rp!!

This RP is set in a land where some people have some kind of magic powers fitting to their kingdom. Some people do not have magic powers. They are just normal humans. There are five kingdoms: Earth Kingdom; Water Kingdom; Air Kingdom; Fire Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the smallest more like a city than a kingdom. Each kingdom has a king and queen and the rulers of the Msagic Kingdom are in charge of all the kingdoms. There is also a small kingdom known as the Dark Tribe that wants to take over the five kingdoms and use all the people as slaves. The Dark Tribe has no powers of their own, and so they want to find out the secret of the magic that the people have.

The Plot:

The Dark Tribe plans to capture the prince or princess of each kingdom and one non-royal person to hold for ransom and the ransom is that to get the kids back, the rulers must give up their kingdoms. None of the people know this. The charries will be the ones being kidnapped and they will find a way to escape.

Rules:

1. Only one charrie per person.

2. Ten people maximum allowed to be part of the kingdoms. If you come after that you can give me ten good reasons and I might let you in, but you have to be a human.

3. No one is the king or queen of any kingdom, but you can be a prince or princess.

4. Only one prince or princess per kingdom.

5. Two main charries per kingdom.

6. All charries are 15

7. Five people can be in the Dark Tribe if they want.

Sub-charries are allowed, but you may only have one. No more than five sub-charries.

Powers should fit your position and kingdom, for example you could be the prince of the fire kingdom so you can control all fire, lava, etc. If you were a commoner of the fire kingdom you might have the power to make volcanoes erupt or maybe you could create fire from your hands. The piont is that if you are a prince or princess, you have all the powers of your kingdom. If you are non-royal (commoner) then you have one power like for the earth kingdom, talking to animals.

Here is my charrie:

Name: Skye Ransing

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Kingdom: Magic Kingdom

Position: Princess

Powers: She can control the elements (earth, air, fire, water), has healing powers and she can change what she looks like (turn into an animal, change hair color, etc.).

Appearance: Tall (5'5"); long, wavy auburn hair that goes down to her knees; usally wears a plain t-shirt with blue jeans. Always wears a necklace on a gold chain with an aquamarine surronded by gold. It was a gift from her mother who died whed she was five. Skye fiddles with her necklace whenever she is thinking, excited or nervous. She is very pretty, but doesn't care.

Personality: Bouncy; kind; very intelligent. She is good at making plans. Kinda tom-boyish.

Other: Her father (the king) always wants her to act like a proper princess, but she hates it. She has to take lessons on things like posture and manners and dancing. She usally skips some of her lessons and goes off hunting instead.

Alexys-

After the contest, I decide to take a short walk around the outskirts of the palace. There is a beautiful green  forest with flowers in every shade of red, orange, yellow, pink, and purple. There are even some amazing golden ones with small flames and little bursts of golden sparkles. Every few feet you can see a bunny, or a squirrel, or a majestic fire eagle. Sort of like a pheonix, but not quite like a griffon, with sparks flying around it.

The whole forest is so pretty and peaceful. All of a sudden, two men jump up and lunge at me.

"Hey kid, if you don't put up a fight, this will be a lot easier, but if you do, well I guess you'll learn the hard way," one of the men says.

"Oh yeah? Well I'm not going down without a fight," I say bravely, not sure where I got the courage.

I start to make my ring of fire, but it takes a lot of energy, concentration, and most importantly, time. I must focus very hard, but my magic doesn't work fast enough. I am so close to having a full circle, but then a man stops me with a magic of his own. He steps into the flames, but nothing happens. I try again, but this time the ring won't even start to form. The men step closer, and I notice a tattoo of a black shadow with yellow eyes and an evil smirk. The Dark Tribe. These men are who my mother devotes her life to stopping.

I know that I have to get away, so I do the only thing I can. I start throwing punches as fast as I can. I don't have much of a chance, but at least I have surprise on my side. After a long battle, the men finally  force me to the ground. Then they tie me against a tree and grab a large needle. They push it in and first I can't move, then I go limp, the I black out.

Rebecca~

It's nighttime, that's the only excuse for the blackness. It's nighttime in the forest, and I just forgot to light it up. I quickly set my hands on fire, but that just makes little lights dance on the edges of my vision, and it's all strangely dull. Am I going blind?

I don't know what command makes me do it, but I open my eyes, and suddenly the world comes into view. I'm tied up with a rope that isn't being burned by my fire-hands, and I seem to be in the back of a wagon. Everyone else that was with me in the forest is here to, apparently unconcious.

I ache all over; I'm hunched in a position so my spine has been bent at an awkward angle for who knows how long. The ropes that bind my arms and legs have dug into my flesh so if I ever get them off, I'm pretty sure I'll have a scar.

Soon, the carrige comes to a halt and I hear voices, and footsteps coming around the back. Quickly closing my eyes, I fiegn unconcious like the others and wait to see what happens.

"Bring 'em to the dungeons," says a rough voice. "Then we can figure out what to do from there."

"Keep 'em tied up?" asks another.

"Of course, you idiot, what if they wake up? And there's no need to be gentle either, just get 'em down there quickly."

"'Kay, boss."

I'm lifted unceromoniously from my spot and held by my shoulder. Soon I feel another body brushing up against mine.

"Should they all be in the same cell, boss?"
"For now. We'll have to separate them later."

Jolt after jolt occurs as my captor starts walking. It gets darker under my closed eyelids until the creaking of an iron door is heard, and I'm flung from the man's hand into a dark cell.

I wait until the thumps of the stranger's feet have gone, then open my eyes. It doesn't help much; there are only about two torches in this place, on on either side of a long hallway. We seem to be in the first cell, although they're all pretty much alike: just a large square with a barred window and door.

"Hello?" I whisper into the darkness.

Rain~

I sigh and quietly open my door. I find my way out of the castle and go to the garden, where a maid told me the other princesses where. I enter the garden and find no sign of princesses. My wind speaks to me tell me everything. A young knight fighting his trainer. Hooded black men carrying tied up ladies. "Wait...what!!" I start to rush forward then stop and think. Could I take down ten men? Truth be known i could. But I didn't want to damage the princesses in the process. Suddenly I see a hooded figure walking toward me. My wind tells me so. My wind then tells me he takes off his cape. And suddenly he emerges. "Hello princess," he says, offering a kindly smile.

"Oh, uh." I still find myself speechless. I start to raise up my winds so they surround him, holding him in place. But, to my amazement, he starts to move his hand into his pocket and he throws something near me. My talking wind suddenly leaves me. I hear the most silence I have ever before. While i am in awe of the silence I don't realize the man is raising his hand above my head.

I don't think I specified this when I first made her backstory, but Elyssa's mother died of sickness.

Elyssa~

Don't open your eyes. Don't open your eyes.  I think this over and over again as cold envelopes me and chills me to the bone, as a rough hand is placed on my forehead and I suddenly feel heavy as a rock, and as I cough. Once.

No no no I can't be sick, I can't be, Father needs me...

I knew something dangerous would happen in that forest.

Don't open your eyes.

I hear muttering and feel myself being lifted up, carried roughly through the air and then thrown down on a dirt floor. Then I open my eyes.

"Magma? Are you awake?" I whisper, trembling with fear. Or cold...so it better be cold in this room, because it it's warm and I'm cold then I'm sick and I...

"Mm-hm," Magma says quietly, startling me out of my thoughts of sickness.

"Are you cold?" I ask, still shivering.

"A little, I guess...Elyssa, are you okay? You look..."

"Don't say it," I beg.

"Sick."

Rebecca~

"We need the others to wake up," I say. "My ropes are fire-proof, but theirs are probably not. Maybe we can ask Skye if she can heal you."

Elyssa brightens a little bit at those words, but she still seems downcast. "Oh, come on. Cheer up, please! When someone gets kidnapped we don't have a lot of time to freak out!"

Somebody else please wake up now...

Rain~

I wake up with a pang on my head. I feel myself bouncing, and can tell someone is carrying me. The person stops and I hear a door open. Next thing i know the air is whiz zing past me, a pleaseny feeling, until I hit the ground. I let out a pained cry as I hear the door shut. I hear other people in the room with me and sit up, looking around.

"Who are you?" The one in the flame dress asks.

"Uh..I-I'm...R-Rain. Wind princess...."

"Oh! We were wondering where you were!"

"I-I was...sick..." Her words fade and I look longingly around the room. No wind. No. No. No. It's too quiet!! No wind to speak to me. No wind at all. I bury my head in my hands and whisper, "Too quiet."

Sorry, I missed a lot. I've been really busy. I just came back from a swim meet. I know it's not much of an excuse, but please forgive me.

Skye¬

I wake up to a searing pain in my wrists and ankles. I felt something rough. Ropes. I was bound tightly by my wrists and ankles. I open my my eyes. Not much difference in the light level. I see bars to the front of me and stone walls to the right and left. I sense movement.

"Skye, are you awake?" asks a voice.

"Yes," I reply, " recognizing that the voice belonged to Magma. Where are we?"

"I dunno. Some sort of dugeon-y place," she says. "Elyssa seems really sick. Do you think you can heal her?"

"Probably, though, I'll need to be touching her."

"See if you can wriggle over to me. I can probably burn away your ropes," Magma tells me.

"I don't think you could. I've got fire powers too, remember? My ropes are probably fireproof, like yours."

"Ooh! I know!" Another voice. This one I don't recognize.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"I'm Rain, the Air princess."

"Oh. Nice to meet you, Rain."

"Stop with the pleasantries, you two!" Magma breaks in. "We're trapped in a dungeon and you think we should be busying ourselves with coversations like that?!"

"Sorry" We both reply, rather sheepishly.

Aquamarine~
I wake up, my head thumping and aching. My hands burn. There’s something wrapped around it that’s course and scratchy.
Ceresanobit,” I whisper, and the pain in my head ceases, and everything comes into focus- so sharply, I almost pass out.
The other girls are talking. I hear a new voice and ask, “Who’s that?”
“Oh, you’re awake,” Magma says. “This is Rain. She’s the Wind Kingdom princess.”
“Where are we?” Rain asks, her voice shaking.
I looked around. “Well, we’ve been tackled, knocked unconscious, tied up, and imprisoned, so I’d say we’ve been kidnapped.”
Elyssa moaned, “We’re going to die, oh we’re dead. Especially me. I’m-“ she choked. “I’m sick.” Then she began to cry, her body jerking up and down with sobs.  I was shocked. I’d never seen her like this before.
“Hold on,” I said. I wanted to curl up and cry, too, but I needed to be brave for my friends. “We need to figure out what’s happening first. Think: why would we be kidnapped?”
“For ransom. Duh,” Isabel said.
“But notice, a princess from each kingdom has been kidnapped, plus a commoner…”
“No, not from the Earth Kingdom and the Water Kindom,” Magma agreed.
“Well, maybe that’s because there was only us on the courtyard. Maybe more people are coming?” I wondered.
“There’s something big coming,” Magma said. “Something that will affect all the kingdoms and everyone in it.
“But-“ I said….
Sorry, gtg, I will continue later.
Alexys, we need you’re waking up part.

Aquamarine~
“There’s something big coming,” Magma said. “Something that will affect all the kingdoms and everyone in it.”
We sat in silence for a moment, except Elyssa, who was whispering to herself.
Then I said, “We need to observe before we plan anything.  Look and listen. Find-” my voice cracked as the desperation of the situation hit me again. I tried again, “Find out as much as we can.”
“Maybe the ransom is really small,” Fiona suggested hopefully. “Maybe it’ll be paid quick and we’ll be back to our homes in no time.”
“I don’t think-”
Suddenly we heard footsteps and a door open nearby. It took me a moment to realize: our captors were in a room right next to us. We pressed our ears to the wall, but it was solid stone and we couldn’t hear anything. I racked my brain for spells that might help, then remembered a spell Mother had taught me the other day. I hadn’t practiced it very much, so it wouldn’t last long, but it was all I had.
Portaesonorusa,” I whispered, and immediately the voices became clearer.
“Do you have all ten captives?” someone asked. He was loud and commanding, so I assumed he held an important position.
Another voice, this one more rough-sounding and nervous, replied, “Well, boss, uh, we only have eight, because er, uh, there wasn’t another from the Water Kingdom, so, uh…”
“You idiot. What about the Earth Kingdom?”
The voice sounded more confident. “Ah, boss, we done got something even better. We got their Sacred Deer!”
I heard Fiona give a little gasp, and Magma shushed her.
“Good thinking- I mean, don’t ever disobey my orders again! I’ll let it slip, just this once however. You are dismissed, Romero. Now go get me another Water Kingdom captive!”
“Yes boss.”
I heard more footsteps, and another voice, this one feminine and scarier because it was cool and chilling and it sounded like she would do anything for…, well, for whatever her motives were.
“I have a concern about our strategy, Master,” the woman said.
“Do tell, Malthien.”
“Are you sure the rulers will give us what they want? They are not ignorant. They know that no self-respecting captor would kill their bargaining chip.”
The master laughed maniacally. “Ah, and that is where they do not know us. You see, why do we have commoners? I will tell you: if the kingdoms refuse to meet our demands, we’ll kill a commoner, that way they know we mean…”
The spell faded away, but that didn’t matter. Nothing mattered. I was punched breathless with fear, my insides writhing and twisting and jerking like worms. My heart pounded inside of me, and I stared blankly ahead, dwelling on what I had just heard. My friends were staring at me, but I paid no notice. I was in emotional agony. I wished I hadn’t been born. I wished I hadn’t been born Aquamarine deFlura. Commoner. Selected to attend the ball. Found my way into the royal courtyard. Went into the forest. I curled up as small as I could. I wanted to cry, but I couldn’t.
Then I noticed Elyssa. She was afraid too, and her face was pale as the moon. And Alexys…still out cold. Wait, she was bleeding. I pulled closer to her.
“Skye,” I managed to say. “Alexys is hurt.”
“I’ll heal her,” Skye said. “It doesn’t matter how close my hands are together.”
She closed her eyes and pressed her bound hands to the wound. I waited for the yellow tendrils, but nothing happened.
“Okay, that’s weird,” she said. “Like, I could feel the tingle, like the magic was there, but then it got blocked. I think these ropes are magic-proof. I looked closer at the ropes binding her hands together. They almost glowed, and they had silvery threads through them.
“Well my spells still work,” I said. “But I don’t know that many. I can wake her up, and I can stop the bleeding, and I can numb the pain, but I can’t close it up or prevent it from getting infected. If only I had herbs or something. I could make a potion…”
“Well, do what you can,” Skye said.
I concentrated hard and pressed my hands on Alexys.
Sangruortan,” I said. The blood clotted. Then I concentrated on waking her up. “Evemonnodrashi flaudris.” Alexys’ eyes fluttered, and she coughed.
I suddenly felt tired, very tired. Casting all the spells was draining. Then I cast the numbing spell. I wpuldn't be able to do any magic for a while.
“We’ve been kidnapped…By the d=Dark Tribe. I saw a man's tattoo.” she gasped.
Tje Dark Tribe? That was only a myth...well, not anymore, I guess.
We explained everything to her, even the part about killing a commoner, because she insisted that we don’t keep anytjing from her.
“I know you guys might feel otherwise,” she said. “But I have this sense, this undeniable sense, that they’re not going to kill one of us. I think- we need to protect whoever that Water Kingdom prisoner is.”
Top this thread.
Okay, well the water kingdom prisoner is not going to be very  important. We'll make it up as we go. See, they will try to kill him/her, but she'll turn herself into sea foam or something, like a permanent spell. Not really killing themself, but sort of...well, you know. I feel like we need to eliminate that person, but not have them killed by the dark tribe.

Magma~

I wasn't sure what to feel.

On the one hand, I was ready to bust out of the ropes and blast the Dark Tribe with all the power I had, kiling them all in one stroke, and then running home and never coming back again.

Actually, I feel that no matter what.

But most of it is worry. Worry and pity for the commoners here that I don't even know that well, but in the short time we've been together, grown to love. I've never felt this way about anyone else.

My hands and legs are still tied, but I think I've figured out a way to fix that- there's silvery strands on my ropes, too. Biting the ones on my hands off, I set my palms alight and the ropes burn up. I carefully (and slowly, because my hands are shaking) untie the knots at my feet and stand up, stretching.

"Now that I'm out," I say, "our first order of buisness is getting everyone else out." Kneeling to the closest person, who turns out to be Skye, I untie her ropes, and she stands up and walks over to the next person.

After a while, we're all standing, stretching and taking a good look around. I light up my hands and shine the fire around the cell, not that there's much to see.

"There'll be someone to check up on us soon," someone remarks. "What should we do if they do?"
