Magic Rp!!

This RP is set in a land where some people have some kind of magic powers fitting to their kingdom. Some people do not have magic powers. They are just normal humans. There are five kingdoms: Earth Kingdom; Water Kingdom; Air Kingdom; Fire Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom. The Magic Kingdom is the smallest more like a city than a kingdom. Each kingdom has a king and queen and the rulers of the Msagic Kingdom are in charge of all the kingdoms. There is also a small kingdom known as the Dark Tribe that wants to take over the five kingdoms and use all the people as slaves. The Dark Tribe has no powers of their own, and so they want to find out the secret of the magic that the people have.

The Plot:

The Dark Tribe plans to capture the prince or princess of each kingdom and one non-royal person to hold for ransom and the ransom is that to get the kids back, the rulers must give up their kingdoms. None of the people know this. The charries will be the ones being kidnapped and they will find a way to escape.

Rules:

1. Only one charrie per person.

2. Ten people maximum allowed to be part of the kingdoms. If you come after that you can give me ten good reasons and I might let you in, but you have to be a human.

3. No one is the king or queen of any kingdom, but you can be a prince or princess.

4. Only one prince or princess per kingdom.

5. Two main charries per kingdom.

6. All charries are 15

7. Five people can be in the Dark Tribe if they want.

Sub-charries are allowed, but you may only have one. No more than five sub-charries.

Powers should fit your position and kingdom, for example you could be the prince of the fire kingdom so you can control all fire, lava, etc. If you were a commoner of the fire kingdom you might have the power to make volcanoes erupt or maybe you could create fire from your hands. The piont is that if you are a prince or princess, you have all the powers of your kingdom. If you are non-royal (commoner) then you have one power like for the earth kingdom, talking to animals.

Here is my charrie:

Name: Skye Ransing

Gender: Female

Age: 15

Kingdom: Magic Kingdom

Position: Princess

Powers: She can control the elements (earth, air, fire, water), has healing powers and she can change what she looks like (turn into an animal, change hair color, etc.).

Appearance: Tall (5'5"); long, wavy auburn hair that goes down to her knees; usally wears a plain t-shirt with blue jeans. Always wears a necklace on a gold chain with an aquamarine surronded by gold. It was a gift from her mother who died whed she was five. Skye fiddles with her necklace whenever she is thinking, excited or nervous. She is very pretty, but doesn't care.

Personality: Bouncy; kind; very intelligent. She is good at making plans. Kinda tom-boyish.

Other: Her father (the king) always wants her to act like a proper princess, but she hates it. She has to take lessons on things like posture and manners and dancing. She usally skips some of her lessons and goes off hunting instead.

Hey, maybe her dad could have joined the Dark Tribe. Just a thought. It's your choice.

Imagine it: "Aquamarine; I am your father..."

Aquamarine~
"Aquamarine dear, are you ready yet?" my mother calls.
"Almost, mother!" I yell back.  Actually, not almost. I had been reading a good book and lost track of time. I glance at my wardrobe and take out my new dress. It's the most beautiful shade of turquoise, and has no stupid frills or any decor accept a gold band around the waist. It's sleeveless and didn't have a very thick skirt, so it hung slim around me. It looks like something a Greek goddess. I put it on and fix my hair (which didn't take too long because, not to brag, but I have super smooth and managable hair).
I ran downstairs and quickly ate my breakfast.
"Remind me again why I'm going to this ball?"
"Because it's an honor, dear. You've been invited to-"
"You mean randomly selected to."
"Well, yes, but-"
"If I've been randomly selected to attend the Five Kingdoms Ball For All, how do I know I'll be selected again?"
"As long as you act appropriately."
"Psh. It's not like there'll be people hired to note every single guest's behavior on a long scroll or something like that."
"Actually, they have scribes that do exactly that."
"Seriously?"
"Yes. Now enough chitchat. You had best get going."
But as I begin to turn away, Mother grabs my wrist.
"Oh, and Aquamarine?"
"Yes, Mother?"
"Don't use any of your magic."
"I won't, Mother."
I set off in the Taxi of Mindset, which can take you anywhere you can imagine in three seconds as long as it's one of their stops.
I close my eyes as I am transported. I have high spirits and high hopes.

I've never liked fancy parties, but today there is one that I must attend. I have to go to the Five Kingdoms Ball For All. I would much rather stay home and draw, but Cecellia (my 17 year old sister) says that this is a once in a life time opportunity and I'll love it. I completely disagree, but Cecellia is in charge, since Mom is off searching for the a Dark Tribe. She says I must look absolutely perfect, which sadly means that I have to wear a dress. I loathe dresses. I've only worn them twice in my life and I hate them. Mostly because they remind me of Dad. The last time I wore a dress was his- his funeral.

Well, obviously I don't own anything dressy, so I guess my morning will have to be spent at the dressmaker's. "I might as well get this over with," I think.   So I head down the street. After walking two blocks, I arrive at the shop. When I enter, a set of silver chimes starts ringing and the dressmaker looks up.    "Ah, hello, Cecellia's sister......What's your name again?" he says.

"Alexys," I tell him.

"Oh yes, Alexys," he says. "I remember you now. You used to come in with your sister and mother all the time. How are they doing? Can I interest you in anything?"

"They're doing great." (I'm partly lying. How should I know how mom's doing?) "And I need a dress for a party, but I don't want anything too, too fancy."

"I'm sure I have something that you'll like. How about you find the cloth that you want, and then we look at some designs," he suggests.

So I look through endless bolts of fabric in every size, color, and pattern. I want something in either red or orange, to represent the fire kingdom. After about 45 minutes of looking through fabrics, I decide on some beautiful red velvet colored fabric that is soft enough to make a comfortable dress, and some gold lace for the collar, the ends of the sleeves, and the sash. I find the dressmaker sorting through a pile of different types of lace and tell him that I have made my choice. We look at designs for several minutes, until I see a dress that is perfect for me. It is pretty, but not some big, poofy, supposedly fashionable dress. It is a simple design with long sleeves, a long skirt that isn't too big, and 3 small, shiny, black buttons down the back. I know instantly that I want it, so I tell the man and he says that it will be ready by noon. I'm suddenly very happy and I sing all the way home which I very rarely do. That earns me a few wierd looks from Cecellia, but then she smiles, and I know she likes it and is happy too.

Aquamarine~
I open my eyes. I am in front of the Fire Palace.
It literally takes my breath away, and I choke.
The grand palace towers hundreds- no, thousands of feet above me. It is made of a see-through material, and encased in the walls is a huge fire. It climbs and falls and morphs and sparks and flickers and rages, a rainbow of red and orange. It is wild and free, yet it is confined in an unmalting container, and it keeps the shape of the castle.
I walk inside. The floor is covered in intricate tiles. Above me are hundreds of crystal chandeliers. On the fiery walls hang tapestries bearing the royal family emblem, and there are moving paintings of knightly deeds and volcanoes. There are hundreds of people dressed their best, chattering and waiting for the music. Some little kids play marbles in the corner, and clusters of men circle around a few young, pretty, rich girls who flirt and wave their fans.
I don’t know what to do. I think back to the ettiquette book I had skimmed before leaving for the ball.
Conversate with multiple people without talking to one person too long.Topics such as weather and outfit compliments are advised.
I  walk up to a random lady who looks about forty and is dressed in a yellow, hoopskirt ballgown.
"And is the weather agreeing with you today?" I ask.
The woman gapes at me, a sneer embeded in her voice. "How outrageous! How rude!" she says.
Wait, what? Why was she so in a twist. Then I realized why.
"Your outfit, young lady! Oh, how blasphemous! Your ankles are showing! And the form of your dress, you might as well be wearing a nightgown!" she continued, her voice louder. A few other snobby looking women start to circle around me.
"No sleeves!"
"Who does she think she is, Aphrodite?"
"Outrageous!"
I know these people. Well, not formally, but I know of them. They were a bunch of snobbish society women from Charleston Ville, who picked on anything that wasn't like them. Honestly, nobody else what shrieking at my dress.
They get closer and closer to me, their hands reaching out. Are they going to rip up my dress, like Cinderella's stepsisters?
Suddenly a voice rings out, "Look over in the corner! That girl is wearing a skirt that goes down to her knees!"
All the women rush away, trying to get a good view. Someone grabs my arm and drags me out of the ballroom, through a bush, and into what looks like the royal courtyard.
I face my rescuer.
She has wavy, dark brown hair that goes all the way to her waist. It's held back by a red headband. She has green eyes, almost the same color as a lime. She has a mischevious, friendly expression, like the kind of person who would be a good and loyal pal but wouldn't hesiate pulling a friendly prank on you. She's wearing a beautiful yet comfortable-looking dress made of red velvet and trimmed with gold lace. The shape of the dress is very free, the gold band high above her waist, the long skirt, and sleevs that widen at the end. It looks like something I could definitly wear.
"Well, that was fun," she says. "My name's Alexys."
"I'm Aquamarine, but just call me  Aqua," I reply.
"fRom the Water Kingdom, right?"
"No, actually, the Magic Kingdom. And you?"
"Fire."
"Thanks for saving me from those...people."
"No prob. They think they're so perfect. They'll mess with anyone."
"are we in the royal courtyard?"
Alexys got that reckless look again. "Well, yeah, but nobody's coming. The monarchs are having supper right now. I think."
suddenly there are voice behind us.
"Hide!" Alexys hissed. She ducked into the shadows.
I crouched behind a statue of Cupid. Or Eros. Or Apollo. Or somebody. I've never been good with Greek myths.
Five girls wearing crowns walk in the courtyard. The princesses!
"Hey!" one of them says. "What are you doing?"

*Elysa*

I glance one more time at my dress, hanging on my door. It's flowy and lavender, with loose sleeves and a pretty white sash. It was Mother's, brought out of the attic by Father just for this occassion. I put it on, then do my hair into a high bun with a braided headband. I then attach a small necklace around my neck, Mother's as well. Then I go outside, where Father awaits.

"You look lovely, Elysa. Just like your mother..." I nod, and we share a moment of silence before Father helps me in to one of the planes. In moments, we arrive at the palace.

I dance my way through the ballroom, acting polite to everyone to conceal the fact that I'm dying to get outside for some fresh air. When I do arrive outside, I find myself in the palace gardens, with five girls rounding the corner.

Five princesses!

I dive behind a bush, just as they come into the garden. An unlucky girl is left unhidden, and is surronded by the princesses.

"Hey! What are you doing?" asks one, tossing her white-blonde hair over her shoulder. The girl winces, then rushes to explain herself, but is cut off when a stray dog bounds in, winding around the princess's legs. She screams and tries to run away, but the dog follows her, growling a play growl. Unfourtanatly, the princess doesn't know it's  play growl, and aims a kick at the stray.

I leap out of my hiding place and pull the dog out of the way just in time, and everyone else stares at me while the dog flops onto his bag, grinning a doggy grin. I shrug and get up, dusting myself off.

"Sorry 'bout that. Just didn't want you to kick this stray. He was only playing, you see." The girl stares at me like she doesn't quite belive that.

"Who are you, and who are you?" she asks, pointing at me and the other girl in turn.

Rebecca~

"Oh... I'm Elysa of the Air Kingdom," the dog-saving girl replies.

"I'm Aquamarine. From the Magic Kingdom," the other girl says.

Someone else steps out from the shadows. "Alexys. From right here."

"Oh, right, I know you," I say. "I've seen you around.

"Now, back down to buisness. Would you like to be judges in a contest?"
"A contest?" Aquamarine repeats.

"Yep! Just a friendly little contest. A show of powers," I reply. "Oh, and I forgot. I'm Rebecca, but you can call me Magma."

Alexys~

Um, sure I guess, but I don't know about the others," I say.

A few minutes later, Aqua says, "I guess I'll do it too."

Then Elysa said, "OK, I guess that might be fun."

"All righty then, let the contest begin," said Rebecca.

And with that a handful of sparks leaped from her hand.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry that that was so short, I didn't know what to write about. I think one of the princesses should talk about the contest but the commoners can judge it.
