Wings of Fire

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Wings of Fire

Wings of Fire RP!

There are a lot of slots to fill... here are their names:

Three guardians (like Kestrel, Dune, and Webs were.)

Five dragonets (and you can be any type of dragon)

Nine extra dragons, and please tell me your name, location, and type; since you guys aren't guardians or dragonets you won't need to start at the starting place. You guys can be princesses if you want.

We will need some people to be queens of the dragons; there are six spots for that, plus three spots for the warring SandWing queens. So nine total.

Everybody can include a description of their dragon if they want, but please definitely include their name!!! Now, no killing, please, because there's no way we can judge fights like that, so just capturing. Nothing too gruesome, either. Remember, this is for fun.

So, for the setting: the dragonets of destiny are trapped in a rainforest, in a cave. The guardians get out through a small tunnel, but it's a maze that only they can get through--plus they never show how they get inside the actual tunnel. They say it's to keep you safe. The prophecy is the same, and you dragonets are 8 years old, like in the books. Find a way to get out, save the world from the warring Sandwing queens (whose names will be known when someone takes the slots), and eat a strange animal for the first time! (since all you ever get to eat is fruit)Smile

I'm the tenth extra dragon; I'm a princess of the SkyWings named Glare. I'm on an expedition in the Mud Kingdom to asses their battle training, so I'm somewhat close to the rainforest. I'm scarlet red, and a good fighter. I hope to someday be queen of the SkyWings. I hope this will be fun!!!!!!! Feel free to ask questions!!!!!! Because I probably forgot something!!!!!!!!

P.S.

Desert is my character, and she didn't go there. You can't kill her without my permission either.

Skyflier...

Radiant! Yes! She's here! Now, for some answers.

"Before you say anything, follow me." Radiant flaps off, not even landing to greet me. Okay...

We enter her private quarters once more, and lock ourselves into the office. "Skyflier, where are the coordinates? Our attack on Desert isn't going to be available much longer. Soon it will be futile to even try to launch our secret army on her."

Suddenly a loud rap on the thick wooden door interupts us. "Enter," Radiant commands, unlocking the door.

"News from the spies in the Sand Kingdom! Desert is dead!" says an out of breath messenger without warning. An extended pause.

"Three moons! How?" yells Radiant, right in my ear. Ow! My anger tips over, but I calm myself down, concentrating on the predicament.

"Killed by Shasta, in a deadly battle. Many SandWings died along her."

Radiant gasps. I look her in the eyes, straining to hear her thoughts. Sometimes this works...

...excellent for our... Zebra instead... We'll move out soon... Event... Perfect... We can't, we... hesitate.

I nod. I understood what she thought, and I understand the urgency of our mission. And I catch one more train of thought from the radiant queen beside me:

Pyrrhia... will be ours.

Dear Admins:

You shouldn't have to post our comments on a HOLIDAY!!!! Go home and enjoy your families!

I'm just taking a break from the kitchen. The turkey is in the oven. Guests have not yet arrived. It feels good to sit down at the computer! But thanks for thinking of me.

You guys can just ignore my last post. I personally thought it was pretty climatic, but obviously you don't like it. Moonfrost, you know that eventually two or three of the SandWing queens are going to die, so why fuss about it this time? I had this idea that Desert was mad that Shasta wasn't there at the SeaWing battle, and, blinded by rage, invaded and attacked her capital. But just ignore the post. I wanted something exciting to happen. Forgive me for longing for a bit of action. And you speled Pirahna wrong.

Wow. So I say that Moonfrost spelled "pirahna" wrong and I spell "spelled" wrong? The world is coming to an end! I'm not supposed to make dumb typos like that!!

We're leaving. Scylla isn't respected and this isn't really going anywhere. Plus, we're in too much stuff.

Scorpion

We haven't left the rainforest and I want to go to the desert. I will go by myself then.

Under the cover of darkness I sneek away from my friends. I grab a pouch and fill it with food This isn't for me it's for Molly. I fly away from the rainforest to the desert.

~~~~~~
After flying through the night I arive at the desert. I land on the sand and roll around... it's so warm and granny. I burrow into the sand and sleep through the rest of the day into the next day. I see a male battle-scared sandwing... he looks like me exept for the dimand pattern on his back. I stand up. "Who are you." he askes. "None of your bissnes." I replie tartly. "Have you always had that golden splash on you nose?" he askes AGAIN. "That is ALSO none of your biussnes." I replie starting to get annoyed. I fly away and go to a quiet oiases... i think I've been here. It's like a dream long forgotten. I burrow int the sand and think that sandwing had the same golden splash on his nose...
I stared up at the moons all three of them were bright ... the Brightesed Night. I look around and see a bit of the night swoop down upon me. The night grabs me and I squeeckd. I didn't know that it was a dragon. "I wonder if this is my father?" but somthing I can't explan tells me That this is not my father. The night is cold... really cold like the wind and the stars should feel. No this isn't my father my father should be warm like the sun. I didn't know anything then... but now I know.
Lizard
I think that was my daughter! She had the same golden splash... Desert has it, Zebra has it, Mother had it. It's the sign of the royal family.
(Is that all right?)
Scylla, are you sure!? You're such a good writer! I'm sorry you feel that way! We could probably sort this out-- but if you're in too much stuff I understand. We'll miss you here in the Wings of Fire!
Thank you, Micearenice. I have a score to settle with Moonfrost, but I really don't want to argue with him/her. I think of you guys like the family I never met, and I don't want to leave this. I will see if it clears up, perhaps post from Cormorant, but mostly hang in the sidelines. And hardly ANYONE is posting. I think.
Um, Scylla, Micearenice and Moonfrost are sisters. Just sayin'.
Yeah, we're sisters. I'd prefer if you'd not...settle a score...with Moonfrost. Let's all just forgive and forget! :) Right? Anyway,
Glare...
It's almost time for the challenge! I fly up to the ledge where royalty can watch from their rightful place up high. Mother's not here yet! She's almost never late, especially not for this kind of thing! I hope she's not in trouble... I may have to run this joint on my own today...
