Secret Jewels RP

Secret Jewels RP

So basically I got this idea for a story one night. What if we had a group of characters who all represent and are named after a certain jewel/gemstone? And they pretty much go on a special quest to unlock their potential and save the world. (More details later)

Only up to 2 charries per person. Also, please make your charrie's jewel their name, and their last name the color of said jewel. Ex: Ruby Red. If your jewel comes in different colors, pick a color of your choice for their last name, as long as it makes logical sense. Ex: Opal Blue.

Powers are acceptable, but only one maximum per character. Please don't be too OP, or I may ask you to change it.

Full name:

Age:

Appearance:

Personality:

Power if applicable:

I will post my own charrie later.

We can start as soon as 4 or more people join :)

I'm so sorry, Lindsey, but I have my heart set on Tourmaline. She's my favourite of your two.

Kay. I just thought they could a bit closer than cousins and friends, if you know what I mean (wink wink).

OH YES YES YES YES YES!!!! WOO! Okay. Now Tourmaline us officially not Emerald's cousin, and Peridot officially is not. Okay, can we replay my part of the scene in the woods, with no Tourmaline saying that she's his cousin? Instead, Emerald just lets her go, and she sticks by his side ever since. Yeah? Okay.

I said yes already, but I meant that Peridot with her futurisic clothing and such is Emerald's cousin, but he disowned her because they had a fight. But near the end of our story they might resolve. The things I said about Tourmaline, I want them to be true please! ;D

I have an idea. What if there is a group of former Jewel Seekers that formed their own society underground, where they are surrounded by minerals and gems. Like an underground city. But they are somewhat evil, and believe that Jewel Seekers are the dominant race compared to normal humans. If you like this idea, than Peridot will have been born and raised there.

Peridot~

I walk around the underground city I call home, my heavy boots echoing across the crystal buildings. Our society is extremely advanced compared to normal humans. I sit on a crystal bench and look around at the place that I call home. All of the buildings are made of crystal, shining in the light made by the Glowstones. Jewel Seekers walk to where ever they're meant to be. Everyone has a purpose and a place. I am a technician. Everything thing here is in order, thanks to our ruler.

I'm approached by a ball of light, since lights usually are used to send messages. I stand.

"Diamond is summoning you."

The light disappears, and I start to head to the Diamond Palace.

REWIND!!!

Emerald~

The girl wheezes, " I...was... sent to find... you. "

"By whom?" I demand.

"By destiny... A vision." she answers, sounding clearer. I let the vines off completely and they sink slowly back into the ground. I thought I was concealed to everyone and everything, but apparently she knows who I am. Maybe my old cousin Peridot sent it to her... I hope not. The last thing I need is some devil girl that shares my last name stalking me. She knew that Bagheera was treacherous, and yet she encouraged Garnet to go farther into the jungle. I will never forgive her. "What's your name?" I ask the girl.

"Tourmaline Melon," she says shyly. "Thanks for taking the vines back," she adds. I extend my hand top help her up. She gladly takes it. She seems to be okay. "Do you know if anyone sent that vision to you?" I ask her gently. She shakes her head. "I would've felt it."

"Are you a gem seeker, too?"

"Yes, obviously. My power is making super sonic sound blasts. I think I can guess what yours is."

I sigh. "Ah, you're probably right. Now let's get out of here. Tell me more about you," I suggest. Her hand still on my arm, wet walk out of the woods together, my the trees of my dome bending back to their prior shapes.

I don't exactly know what to do with Lapis and Aura at this moment.... Any ideas?

Beryl~

Aura startles after a moment. The mechanics of her brain are slowly ticking away until...

"You really do not know what I'm talking about? Like, at all? Like, this conversation is drawing an entire blank type of I do not know?"

I scrunch up my face. I'm afraid to say no, Aura has seemed so happy that I'm what she thinks I am, only I don't think I am soooooo.

I shake my head.

Aura recoils back. "Oh no. Oh no no no no no." Her shimmering appearance dampens until she sags like a wet handkerchief. I see her mouth move, but it takes me a second to grasp her silky voice.

"How did we miss another one?"

I hear my mother call for dinner. Gently, I set down my bow and take a step forward to her, reaching out to touch her shoulder.

"Look, it's okay," I start. 'You'll... you're fine."

Her look seems to penetrate my false calm. I pause, then drop my hand and shuffle away.

"I'll be going now..." I call back. I'm at the back door, pulling on the squeaky latch when the icy hand clamps down.

"We're taking you to the Council." Her voice, her demeanor- the change is magnanimous. The world has been replaced by deadened tones, the shadows shift closer. And then...

Aura~

I heard a scream, and ran toward the house. A shadowy figure stands near the window. Onyx.

"Onyx! Take on some other Gem, " I hiss toward him. He smiles, his cloak of darkness shimmering.

"Aura Quarts." He lets go of Beryl and shifts his attention toward me. "Why are you everywhere?" His voice sounds irritated, yet he still seems... Emotionless.

"Living in isolation never did good, did it?" I mock. He slams a whip of shadow into me, but I slip away just in time. I motion my hands into a square shape, blowing colors into his eyes. He screeches and weakens for a moment.

"Beryl get out of here!" I urge, slapping another ray of color into Onyx's path. But before she can get away, Onyx creates a wall of shadow.

"Painite only needs the girl." Onyx glared at Beryl.

"Just because she is easy to transfer doesn't mean she will!" I counter, inching closer to Onyx.

"And just because you didn't transfer doesn't mean she won't!" Onyx raises his palm toward the air, and cascading shadows swallow him up.

"Drat! He got away," I cursed.

*****

I got an idea, that these dark colored gems want to transfer all gems into dark colored gems. Some gems are more easier to transfer then others, and some gems can be extremely powerful when transfered.

Amber~

I look up, and see Aqua banging on my window. I had thought that I put my water message in the sky. (Sorry, I forgot to mention that part) but it turned out that all that I did was write it on the ground. More proof that I still can't control my powers. I signal a question to her. Can you open this window? She smiles, signals at me to stand back, and uses a wave of water to blast open the window. Glass and water splash everywhere. Aqua grabs my hand, pulling out of the window. I run over to where the horses are, saddle up Rosmary and Chessnut, a brown mare with white patches above her hooves. "Jump on!" I say to Aqua. She looks at me, a smile hovering over her lips, but she jumps on the horse anyways. I'm not quite sure where we're going, so I ask Aqua for suggestions. She looks at me for a minute, then says "Well there is this one place......"

Aqua~

I look back at Amber's house to see her mom yelling out the window that I broke. Too late to apologize. We have to leave- NOW. "There is this one place we can go," I said. "I know of an underground colony of former jewel seekers. It's safe for us to go there. Let's ride!!!" I hop on Chestnut and Amber and I dash off. I'm not quite sure where the underground city is, but I can feel my powers sort of telling me where to go. Then it all stops. "Stop!" I shout to Amber. She skids to a halt. "I don't really know where we're going anymore. But I know a way to find out." I hop off of chestnut and pick up a rock off the ground. "This one looks good," I said. Concentrating all my energy, I wave my hand all around the rock, summoning some water to surround the pebble. I pour all my energy into making this rock glow. It glows, then it starts slowly turning blue, then it turns into a ginormous aquamarine stone. The last thing I remember seeing is the bright glow of the stone, then I black out..........

"AAAAAAAAA!!! WHAT JUST HAPPENED!!! AQUA, COME BACK TO ME!!!" Oh, wait never mind, she's opening her eyes. "Aqua, what in the world just happened. I thought that you died! And why does that blue rock look like it's going to explode?"

aqua~

i sit up, dizzy. The aquamarine stone glows and spins next to me. Before Amber npcan say anything, I explain. "That is an aquamarine. I made it. All the jewel seekers can do that, but with the stone they represent. But it takes a lot of powerful magic. When most inexperienced jewel seekers try it, they usually end up dying a fiery explosion. But anyway, this gem should be able to guide us to where we need to go next, but it won't last forever, so we need to go!" Amber and I jumped back on Rosemary and chestnut, respectively, and we rode off, letting the magic aquamarine guide us. We rode for what seemed like hours. Eventually, the aquamarine disappeared, and we had arrived. I spotted a tunnel a few feet away, leading deep into the ground. I nodded at Amber, and we jumped off the horses and led them into the tunnel. After a few feet, Amber saw a speck of light at the end of the tunnel. I nodded, and we walked toward that speck of light. What we saw next was unbelievable. It was a cave, of magnanimous proportions. Stalactites and stalagmites dotted the inside. People, jewel seekers, milled around, safe from any out side force. It was amazing.
