Secret Jewels RP

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Secret Jewels RP

Secret Jewels RP

So basically I got this idea for a story one night. What if we had a group of characters who all represent and are named after a certain jewel/gemstone? And they pretty much go on a special quest to unlock their potential and save the world. (More details later)

Only up to 2 charries per person. Also, please make your charrie's jewel their name, and their last name the color of said jewel. Ex: Ruby Red. If your jewel comes in different colors, pick a color of your choice for their last name, as long as it makes logical sense. Ex: Opal Blue.

Powers are acceptable, but only one maximum per character. Please don't be too OP, or I may ask you to change it.

Full name:

Age:

Appearance:

Personality:

Power if applicable:

I will post my own charrie later.

We can start as soon as 4 or more people join :)

Go to the top. You deserve it.

You deserve it, deserve it.

Top, top top.

Go to the top,

deserve it.

Once at the top, you will see

That the story goes on

The story goes on,

the story goes on, you'll see.

This RP, it cannot die,

I have so much hope for it.

So top, top, top top top top top.

The toppest toppest top.

~Emerald~

Tourmaline and I walk arm in arm out of the woods. I like her. She seems like a good person. Outside is  smoking ruin. People are panicking and running around, wailing that somebody help them. There is a figure high in the sky, shooting electricity down on the earth. I wonder how the forest survived. I break away from Tourmaline and run over to the figure. She follows. I create a bridge of earth, assembling each particle to a staircase. I have no time to elaborate on it, so it's kind of crude. I race up the steps as the figure shoots electricity onto my bridge, only hardening the soil. I recognize it. The electricity... The chaos... This can only mean one thing... Peridot.

But, but I didn't write what Diamond wanted Peri to do. Eh, I'll just do flashback.

Oh, I'm so sorry! My post can be in the future, if you want! I want to know what Dia said!

Hallia says Peri. Is that weird at all because we're talking about her?

Peridot~

(Flashback) I'm sitting in the diamond palace, waiting for my meeting with Diamond. The door opens, signaling for me to enter. Diamond is placed behind her desk, watching as I sit down. "You have an assignment I need done. I need you to go and check on the weapon, make sure it's ready. It's on the main land, and I will send you the map. Don't worry, it will be easy. And feel free to destroy a few towns while you're at it. Humans are nothing more than dirt." She flicks her hand, signaling me to leave. I bow, and leave, heading to main land.

Normal time.

I fire lighting at the human that dares run at me. He uses shields of plants to block it. Oh no, not this clod!   I quickly stop and start flying away using my helicopter fingers. He, and a sweatered girl with a violin case, run after me. Emerald uses a plant rope to lasso me, and begins pulling. Hurriedly, I use one of my detachable fingers to shoot an electric pulse to him. He quickly let's go to avoid electricution, giving me just enough time to fly away.

Tourmaline~

Emerald and I chase the strange mechanical girl. How does she have detachable floating fingers? We continue to chase as she laughs meniacaly, increasing Emerald's anger. He keeps shooting vines at her, but misses more as his anger and frustration build.

Emerald~

I hate that demonic gem stealer. She shoots beams of electricity at me and Tourmaline and I see red. She has so much nerve to kill innocent people. Tourmaline grabs my coat sleeve and stands at my side. I ask the forest to aid me against her and it complies; even though the humans are chopping it down it feels compassion to them. I am a practiced gem seeker so can ask them more easily than someone new. Peridot flies away using her baffling technology. I leap up at her, and some vines help me farther, but Tourmaline pulls me down. "There's nothing you can do." she says quietly. I sigh in anger and frustration. "Come on, let's go." I beckon to her and we step down the staircase. This has been a terrible day for emotions. At least I met Tourmaline...

Tourmaline~

After giving up the chase, Emerald and I set up camp deep within the forest. He quickly make little huts from trees and vines before we head out in search of fire wood. I gather up dead twigs here and there, when I hear a familiar, nasally voice. We peer through the bushes, and see a certain mechanical girl with more equipment.

"Peridot to Diamond, my mission is on temporary pause, do to some minor....... set backs. I currently residing in a forest. I will resume once sure that there will be no more oppsticals."

To my surprise, Emerald jumps through the bushes, grows a vine, and ties Peridot all in three seconds. I follow, and walk up to the technology, curious. Emerald binds her to a tree and inspects the strange gadget with me.

"Don't touch that! You clods don't know what you're doing!"

Apparently, leaving the half mechanical girl unguarded was a mistake, once Emerald and I turn around, she's already broke the vine and is flying off again.

I've decided that catching Peri will be a challenge that Emerald and Tourmaline will have to go through, which will also lead to them meeting with the others.

Yeah, that's good. We'll probably end up being the only people doing this. Anyway.

~Emerald~

I have cooled down enough to let my emotions be concealed behind a grim mask. I watch as Peridot flies away, snapping branches and making the most noise. The vines fall. Tourmaline gently touches my arm and says quietly, "We'll catch her someday, Emerald. Don't worry. Now let's finish gathering wood and get back to camp."

I allow her to steer me back to the temporary huts made of trees. They groan slightly, and I bend them up a little bit. They wave gratefully and open to let us in a hut. Tourmaline sits cross-legged on the earth floor. I feel strangely protective of her. I have never felt this way about anyone since my twin, Garnet, died. We had been closer than two petals on a rose... I sigh tiredly and sit by Tourmaline. She leans against me and closes her eyes. I shift uncomfortably but soon relax. I can hear her even breathing as she falls asleep. It has been a long day, and I am tired, but I don't fall asleep just yet.

Wow, the great and fabled Daphne H. that made this RP has NEVER POSTED. I would've loved to meet Citrine! Oh well. Maybe D.H. goes by a different name now.

Aqua~

Amber was amazed by the cave. I'd heard stories about an underground colony of former jewel seekers, and decided to see if it was real. It was. But we could'nt stay here forever. At least, without getting supplies. "Amber, we can't stay here right now. We have no supplies. But I know where we can get some." I told her. "Where?" Amber asked, confused. "My house is just on the other side of town. We can go there and get food and spend the night there." I said. "Ok! Sounds good!" Amber said. We hopped on our horses and rode out of the tunnel. This town was small, so I could see my house in the distance, a speck on the horizon. We reached it in no time. Now, the one thing I hadn't told Amber was that my family was rich. Very. I felt bad going to my house, knowing that she and her mom lived in a little cottage. I'd rather live in a little cottage. It would keep the kids at school from treating me weirdly. They thought that because I was rich, I was also stuck-up and rude. Thinking about all these things, I led Amber inside. One thing that might detract from the grandness of the manor was that it was a MESS. My mom had left when I was young, as I said, and my dad has been in the hospital for a little over a year. I lived here for a while after that, until I found out that I was a jewel seeker. Then I ran away, trying to escape the thought that I might need to save the world someday. "It hasn't been too long since I've lived in the house," I told Amber, "So there should still be food in the ice box. (Or fridge- I don't know what the time period is for this RP)" I opened the door to the icebox/fridge, and found some bread and cheese and ham. "Let's make sandwhiches!" Amber exclaimed. I just smiled as I unwrapped the cheese. "Amber, can you make the sandwhiches? I'll get out some plates and glasses." I pulled some cups and plates from out of the cabinet. I turned on the faucet to fill the cups, but nothing came out. The pipes must have burst or something. With a sly smile on my face, I cupped my hand and faced the window. A small stream of water came straight through the window, but it didn't break. I led the swirl to the cups and filled them up, all without getting a drop of water on me, the window, or the counter. Amber stared at me in amazement. I just smiled and helped Amber finish making the sandwhiches.

Here it goes, here it goes, here it goes again. And no, oh here it goes again!

~Emerald~

I wake up. Tourmaline is still asleep, but her eyes flutter open soon enough. She stretches and blinks sleepily. I conceal a smile. The dawn light filters through the trees of our temporary camp. I stand up. Tourmaline stands, too, and i tell the trees that they are welcome to revert to their original positions. They swish their branches happily and stretch up tall. I wonder what we will do next. We clean up what little there is to clean up, leaving no trace that we ever were in the forest. Sunlight dapples Tourmaline's hair. Her expression is somber. She looks up at me, hope suddenly sparking in her bright green eyes. The hope is replaced by defiance. "I don't know how," she says determinedly, "but we will get that- that gem-stealer." I allow sadness to touch my eyes for a moment. "Peridot was once a dignified, honorable gem-seeker," I murmur wistfully. My expression flashes dark and grim. "But you have seen what she has become now."

Tourmaline tenatively puts her arm around me. She turns around to face me. I stop. "Emerald, you have experienced loss in your life. Too much for any one person to bear. I can see it in the slightly haunted look of your eyes. We can overcome this, you and I. I know we can." She hugs me. I embrace her back nad we stand there for a moment, before I announce, "Well, if we are to overcome Peridot and the gem-stealers, then we must get going."

I don't know. I don't know Amber, Aqua, Beryl, and Aura's motives if they are still in this. I was thinking that we could catch Peri and chain her up or something in an underground city, where everyone else is. Maybe.
