Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So their are three main worlds (the polar world, sun world, and star world). The Polar people (called chills) are kinda the polarbear/penguin people (explain more later). The Sun people (Sundrops) are kinda the Eagle/lion people. And the star people (Stellar) are kind of OP so there will only be 5-7 of those. So then out of no where a dark clan appears and a war starts.

Is it okay if I go ahead and post? If not, just disregard this post. ;)
Pola~
The wind howles around me, kicking up small flurries of snow as it streams through the valley. It blows through the thick, white fur of Kallik, my polar bear, and whippes my blue-and -green-streaked hair in my face. I scowl. It's not that I mind the cold, for Kallik gives me a resilience to the icy-cold weather. It's just that I've been wandering around by myself for days on end, looking for food. Prey has been especially scarce this winter, and if we don't get food to our tribe soon, we might starve. I sigh and keep trudging on. Kallik pads up to me and nudges me as if to say don't worry, we'll find food soon. I smile in spite of myself. We keep plodding on, looking for shelter. The cliffs that surround us are made of pure ice. They are breathtakingly beautiful. Soft shades of blue and green seem to shimmer through the clear, glossy ice, almost as if the spirit lights themselves are trapped inside them. (Is it okay it the "spirit lights" are like the northern lights?) This place is so still, so beautiful. The winds and snow can't reach it. Suddenly, a starving tribe seems far away. I find a cave embedded in the ice cliff. I sigh as I lay down, happy to be surrounded by so much ice. I drift off, with Kallik by my side and dream of the spirit lights. In fact, I'm sleeping so deeply, exhausted by the day's journey, that I don't even wake when a cascade of ice falls down over the entrance, blocking us in.

Okay, I'm gonna post! If I'm doing it wrong, tell me and ingore this. Plus, do we take turns? Sorry, I don't know what to do!

Aspen~

I stare without blinking at a small hole in the ice. Where have all the fish gone? My weekly capture has decreased by more than half; too much. Eventually a scrawny mackerel swims by, and with an expert flip of my wrist, I spear it on my harpoon and set it on the pile. I glance at it miserably while my stomach rumbles. If only we could find some fat, delicious seals or a herd of Caribou, or a...

I try to stop thinking about food. The leaders (What are we calling our government?) had recently sent hunters to scout out prey. I admired their bravery, there were many dangers outside of the tribe. I impale another fish as the wind picks up, almost blowing me off my seat. I predict that a snowstorm is on the way, so I gather up my catch and head home. Looking at the barren horizon, I wonder if I would ever see it filled with life again. Then I make a decision, knowing I need to do something to help. I will find food. I will follow the hunters.

I think I am going to start too! Oh and I have a question: WHAT MAKES THE STELLARS SO OP? And also what general powers (if any) does each clan have?

Nebula~

As I walk through the dense, mossy forests I can't help but look up to the sky. It is so cloudy tonight and I am lonely. Normally the stars keep me company. They just seem to almost speak to me even though no sound is made. That is honestly my favorite kind of talking, the kind with no words. I have always been the thoughtful little outcast, the one shy person in the corner. I don't know anyone in my clan, the Stellar clan. I almost never talk, so if I talk to you that means you are very special. I have never met my parents, they died when I was a baby. Sometimes I think I hear their voices, or what I think their voices would sound like, come from the stars. Every now and then I see something shimmer from the corner of my eye. When I turn to look at it, it just vanishes. I try to tell people about it but they all laugh. Honestly that just makes me even more reserved to myself. While I continue walking back to my home (where exactly do the Stellars live? In a kingdom? In tents? Maybe a village? I need help here!) I swear I can hear wings flapping behind me. Air brushes up against the back of my neck as I snap my head around. The nothingness greets me in it's normal, eerie fashion. I feel chills run down my spine. Something is watching me. Nervously twirling my hair, I continue down the narrow, dirt path. My pale skin glows a blueish tint in the small beams of moonlight that makes it through the clouds. The cold starts to dig into my arms. I shiver and mutter to myself, “Why does the night have to be so cold? Its my favorite time to be awake!”

Well... nothing's perfect, Nebula,” I hear a voice say quietly behind me. I listen to it. My feet root themselves to the ground. Somehow the voice is twinkling. It sounds so strange. I want to go closer to it. As soon as I come to my senses I dash out of the forest and into my home, slamming the door behind me. Whoever talked to me made me act strange. Who was it and why did they talk to me? I'm just a little nobody. I don't matter. I can't even figure out how to use my own powers. The only things I'm good at are dancing, singing, throwing spears and using my silver sword. I never do any of those things in front of other people though, just in front of the stars. They never judge me, they only sit quietly in the sky and perform their own dance as they twinkle and sparkle. The stars are my best friends. They never tell secrets or insult me or hurt me in any way. Humans do all of those thing though, that's why I try to avoid them as much as possible. Something, maybe the stars, is telling me that I am about to meet another human that is going to force themselves into my life. I will meet someone I won't be able to stop talking to.

Oh by the way I am changing Nebula's animal to a leopard. They are nocturnal so I thought it would suit Nebula more! Nebula is actually an extremely fast runner I forgot to mention that. Sorry!

My CAPTCHA, Luna, says addy. That's really cool! Who's addy, Luna? A wolf friend of yours? You should introduce me!

SunDrops live in the savannah world.

Chills live in the  polar world.

Stellars live in the thick forests.

Also sorry for the short posts.

Luna~ As I am walking through the forest dark clouds spread across the night sky. The woods are getting cold so I deside to go in to the Stellar camp. Erhan (means brave leader) the Leader calls a meeting "We need more warriors." He says.

Also I think spirit lights are fine.

Pola~
I open my eyes, and it's as if I hadn't. Is it still the middle of the night? No, it can't be, I fell asleep with a full moon and a clear sky last night. Maybe a storm has snuck across the sky, catching the moon unawares. I walk to the entrance of the cave..... And hit a wall of ice. I stumble backwards and rip my hands open on the jagged pieces of ice that only this morning I had been admiring. Traitor, I think. Kallik comes up to me and starts to lick my wound. I wince. How did we get stuck in here? There wasn't any wind in the place we chose to camp. Then I remember the overhang over our cave, and I mentally kick myself for being so stupid. I'm trapped, and it's all my fault.
Has anyone heard of the Princess Acadamy? In it there's this group of people who live on a mountain, and they do this thing called quarry speaking. They could transfer messages through the rock, sort of like morse code except you trigger memories through the message. I know it sounds kinda complicated, but what if the Chills could do something like it? Ice speaking or something? I dunno, just a random idea.

Sorry but I just want to add this TINY thing to Leo's personality. In the daytime, he sort of puts a shield up in his mind. So to everyone else he looks like a harmless, sleepy boy. But in the nighttime, that shield lowers and he basically stops pretending. In the nighttime he's more sneaky-clever than nice. Also this might make more sense if I explain that in the daytime most hunters are either A) Asleep, or B) Uh, Mating. So that's more the time to gather food. Nighttime though, you gotta be clever, quick, and sneaky. Predators are on the hunt in the nighttime, so you can't really trust other people.  Or at least, it's what my character does. I haven't really researched Prairy Dogs so I might be wrong. I also think Leo should only be able to talk to Prairy Dogs.

Aspen~

I set out from the village with nothing but a leather sack filled with survival essentials and my harpoon. My mother had forbidden me to go, but my father's eyes had shone with pride when I told him of my plan. Now, I am searching for any signs of life. The storm I predicted is here, but I can't wait it out. My people are dying, I can't just sit there and do nothing.

I find a couple hairs, and pick them up. Polar Bear. Our tribe doesn't feed on them, they are sort of a sacred animal. But, if it was a last resort, we would hunt them down. I decide to follow the trail, because I don't have any other choices.

I'll have pretty short posts. And due to sentiment, I'll start Eo off the same way I did in October. Let's just say that the Sundrops live in small villages scattered across Sunland (?). Maybe we should call the places Celestia, Sol, and Polar. Unless there are any objections. And adding to Eo, he's an excellent weaponsmith. And Leaf, could Eliane like Eo? Wait, huge age difference-- nevermind.

Eo~ I sit, cross-legged, on the floor of the hut. It serves as my home and forge, mostly dominated by smithy equipment but with a small living space in the corner. I'm tempering a sword blade, its long bronze edge gleaming, wickedly sharp. It's made from special Solace Bronze, which can be found deep under the grasses of the savannah. Even after quenching, the blade is hot, but my hands have toughened. I hear a knock at my door, and I set the sword onto a worktable and stand to answer....

Hathor~ It's been a long day, and I'm exhausted. I was up since dawn cutting ice-- I don't see why we even need to, we're covered in ice year-round. But the elders say they sense a thaw coming on, whatever that is. As soon as I get home, I go straight to the piano. It's there, in the hall, standing grand and majestic. I ignore my mother's welcome and set my fingers to the keys. Their cool wood is welcoming to my touch and I begin playing Moonlight Sonata, first movement. One of the Travelers brought music back from a trip to a new world, a water-covered planet. It's by a composer I've never heard, of, but I was delighted to learn it. As I play out the soft melody, I feel the tension of the day flooding from me, leaving calm behind. It swells and calms, like a snowstorm or the waves of the Frozen Sea. It's beautiful.

(I think I'm going to try this whole icespeaking thing out. And let's pretend that only chills can do it.)
Pola~
I've been pacing around in my pitch black cave for hours, with only Kallik beside me. There's some sort of idea nagging at me. Every time I try to catch hold of it, it slips away from my grasp. I distractedly tap my foot against the ice. And then I remember. A long time ago, when I was only four, me and my mother were cornered by a pack of wolves. They were surrounding us when my mother did something strange. She started gently hitting the ice with her foot. When she did, I felt all of her panic and urgency flood over me in waves. She kept doing this until my father and his friends came running. I always wondered about that. I close my eyes and start pounding my foot on the ice as hard as I possibly can, and while I pound I pour all of my fear and claustrophobia and hunger and the darkness that surrounds me into the thrumming beat of my foot. I keep going on until I'm gasping for breath, but then I stop because I only have a limited amount of oxygen. Maybe someone will hear me. Maybe I'll get out of here. Or maybe I'll be dead before anyone gets here.
Luna says vpgh. What's that? Very prominent ghosts?
*the sort of ghosts that I hang out with happens to be none of your business.*

Leo~

I turn my eyes up to the stars above the savanna, with Finn, my friend Prairy Dog on my lap. Everyone else is out hunting, but not me. I just don't hunt. I guess it's 'cause I'm supposed to be prey. Sometimes people act like it. I'm usually picked on just because Prairy Dogs are smarter than the average lion. I mean, come on. If you're top of the food chain you don't have to be clever. You just have to be strong. It's not the same with 'prey' though. We HAVE to be clever, otherwise 'prey' wouldn't exist. I look back to our village, the round straw huts with smoke coming out of them signify that the warriars are home. I sigh and get up. Finn groans and wiggles off me. "Come on, we'll be late for the ceremmony." He says, scurrying ahead. I run after him, a quick pace like a gazzelle. We arrive right at the edge of the huge campfire and sit down, Finn beside me.

A boy with coffee-colored skin steps out of one of the huts and sits beside me while the rest of the places get filled up by more people, some with animal friends like lions or zebras. Finn goes to another Prairy dog and starts to talk while I turn my eyes to the boy beside me. He looks strong, but sleek as well, with the sort of majestic curve to his stature that just roars cat, probably one of those people with cheetas or something. He turns to me and smiles. "Hi, I'm Eo." I'm surprised to find his eyes the gold of the sun, and his smile pleasant. "I'm Leo." A sleek lion glided out of the darkness and inspected me. He gave Eo a small purr-growl and went over to Finn. I can't understand other people's animal friends, only mine. Eo looked as if he was about to say something when the clan chief took out the gazzelle-bone horn and blew it. I roll my eyes and stand up as Finn scampers to me and stands up as well. The chief glares around at us and than he spoke, in a deep rumbling voice that commanded attention, and not in a nice way. "My people, we are here tonight to celebrate a great occasion. Not only did we catch the oldest gazzelles we could find, a very special occasion is happening today. The Tests are tomorrow day, and we expect everyone to participate. Remember, the Tests only happen to you once in a lifetime. You will have to face hunger, enemies, and fighting to get through it. Thank you, now you may eat." The chief sat down and so did everyone else, than the women who had chose to become cooks, not warriors, came out of the cooking tents and started to serve food.(It's custom to give women a choice to either become warriors or house-wives. Of course, house-wives can still fight, but they cook as well. Boys are always warriors though. But they can be warrior-trainers or food gatherers or warrior-whatevers. We all know how to fight here.) I bit into the food quickly, I would need a lot of sleep to get through the Tests tomorrow.
