Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Worlds RP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So their are three main worlds (the polar world, sun world, and star world). The Polar people (called chills) are kinda the polarbear/penguin people (explain more later). The Sun people (Sundrops) are kinda the Eagle/lion people. And the star people (Stellar) are kind of OP so there will only be 5-7 of those. So then out of no where a dark clan appears and a war starts.

Aspen~

It has been almost half a day since I found the first polar bear hair. Now, I seem to have lost the trail. Cursing in my native language, I decide to take a break. The sun is just now rising, even though it's the middle of the night. I don't know exactly how the rotation of our world works, but sometimes it's pretty messed up. For about a month in summer, we get twenty four hours of sunlight. It's pretty disorienting. As I'm getting ready for the night, I see a flash of brown in a nearby pond...

"Chubby!" I exclaim with delight. It is my animal companion, Charles Winston, also know as Chubby, the walrus. He miraculously does a backflip out of the pond, all two thousand pounds of blubber jiggling wildy. "How's it going, Chub?" I ask. I haven't seen him in a month, he's been busy with a lady walrus. He opens his mouth in what I think is a smile, almost knocking me out with his two foot long tusks. I pat his rough skin as I smile for the first time in months. I used to be the joker in town, but since all the prey has gone missing, no one has time for jokes anymore.

I settle in for the night. The fire I've built is so nice and warm, and with Chubby lying next to me, I feel content for once. But the feeling doesn't last. I don't notice the tingle in my spine until it feels like I've been struck by lightning. Waves of fear and despair wash over me, and I jump to my feet. "I have to go. Something's wrong." I quickly stomp out the fire and grab my pack, and begin to run. Chubby follows me, surprisingly fast for something his size. I don't what is gone or where I'm going, but I know it's important.

For that last sentence on Aspen's, I meant,

I don't what is wrong or where I'm going, but I know it's important. Sorry.

OH MY GOODNESS! THIS IS GETTING SO GOOD! Okay, when making the charrie sheet I think I accidentally skipped over the animal... HEHEH SO, I'll go with hyena. They live in the savanna, right?

Perdita~

Oh no....Testing is tomorrow!? I completly forgot! Grrrr. And just a month before I'm 14. (I changed her age. Hope you don't mind.) I hear Happy snicker behind me. He and I can kinda feel each other's mood. Sometimes it's really annoying, like right now. I give him a hard glare so I won't get in trouble for interrupting. Like that one kid over there, with the golden hair with the white stripes. I notice someone next to him with a lion animal companion. Scary.

Happy tenses next to me, and I have to calm him. The cheif finishes talking. Wait, what was he saying?! I can't say I was exactly paying attention. That earns me another snicker. Then the feast arrives. I can smell the gazelles from over here, in the dark furtherst from most people.

Yolami, my friend who chose to be a cook hands me a plate,. "I'm so sad we won't be able to be in the kitchen together. " Her companion, Scally, a  zebra, glares hard at the steaming meat on the plate. Grabbing the plate I toss it to Happy. I can't stand meat..

"Me too, but Yolami, you know I'd never fit in." She smiles at me, her beautiful black hair framing her face perfectly. "You know, Perdita, I don't think you'd fit in anywhere." She and Happy laugh at me before waving goodbye to serve the other tribe people. "You know Happy, she's probably right." Happy gives me an intense look, confused but understanding almost. He goes back to chomping the meat while I continue, "I don't belong, but that doesn't mean I won't stop trying. I'm going to try my hardest to be a warrior. People will respect me then. But I've always wondered what it's like in the other lands." I look toward the setting sun, and a cool breeze passes, heading that direction. Goosebumps rise on my arms from the chill, and I look to the stars. A shooting star glides accross the sky heading towards the sun. It was as if they were connecting. Like something was going to start.

I shake my head. I shouldn't think like that. Happy places a paw on my lap, panting; most of his meat is gone. His head is cocked adorably. I give him a good ruffle. "Come on, boy, let's go get ready for testing tomorrow." He finishes his meat, and I feel a spark of rebellion coming from him. "Happy, no..." Too late, he jumps up and grabs my loose braclet. He starts to run away, and I have no choice but to give into his chase. "Get back here right now!"

This role play is so fun! By the way, I'm getting the sense that Shadowmoon has read Seekers, and hopefully Warriors, as well as Survivors. What's your favorite out of the three, and how far are you in the Seeker series?

Warriors, for sure! I started Surviviors, and read the first season of Seekers (Kallik was a givaway;) Which one do you like best?

Sorry
this post is kinda short! :)

Nebula~

As
I climb up a nearby willow tree, I hear our clan leader, Erhan,
talking to someone. I decide to steer clear. I would much rather hang
around in the trees than get involved in whatever he is planning. Not
that there is anything wrong with him, he seems very nice. I just
don't want to get attached to anyone. I am still getting that feeling
that someone is going to make me crack, make me talk. I'm not sure
who, but someone is going to make me want to talk, I can't have that!
I need to stay away from people until this strange feeling
disappears. For all my life has always been just me, myself and I.
Everyone is rushing around, carrying bits of metal. Armor. I have
hear rumors that our clan is being attacked. I never thought they
were true until now. After all this time of hiding from humans, I
rarely get information about anything outside my own cabin. Speaking
of my cabin, I need to get back there and feed my little pet cat,
Nova. She gets really upset if I don't feed her on
time. All around me, people are rushing around. The sunlight burns my
eyes as I climb down out of the thick, shady branches. Every time
someone's arm brushes up against me my face twists into a disgusted
grimace. “Don't touch me!” I think to myself. Not
wanting to talk, I manage to shut myself up before I can shout at
anyone. Talking will just make them talk back. Finally, I make it
through the crowds of people and get to my cabin. Nova meows angrily
at me, “Yes, yes I know. I am late,” I mutter quietly, scooping
some leftover meat into her bowl. Immediately, Nova's black and white
figure dashes past me, her blue eyes flashing in the morning light. I
laugh quietly. Little Nova has always entertained me. I hear a knock
at my door once I clean out Nova's bowl. Knock knock! I
jump to a start. Nobody ever comes by my cabin, “W-Who is it?” I
ask cautiously. No response. I decide to ignore the knock but it soon
returns. Knock knock knockknockThey
are growing louder. I sigh as I drag myself over to the door. Opening
it I ask, “Yes?” Nobody is there, just a little note on the
ground.

OK, Mei so since your Charrie is a Sundrop. I am going to tell you what's happening there...

The Sundrop leader (he doesn't have a name yet) is announcing that their is a test "tomorrow". (It is a test to become warriors.) Girls can be housewives or warriors they choose, but boys have to be warriors.

Sorry guys, I'm here!

And I am curious- what exactly makes the Stellars OP?

Theron~

I whip my head around. There's a rustling in the bush behind me. I notch and arrow in my bow in the hopes that it's just an animal that I might be able to bring home to eat. A rabbit sccuries out from under the shrub and darts toward the west. I quickly release the arrow, but it hits the soft ground right next to the rabbit, rather than the rabbit itself. Cursing myself for bringing the bow instead of my knife, I jerk the arrow out of the ground and walk back to my cave, my pet wolf, Xena, by my side. She looks fierce, but she's really quite sweet.

As soon as I reach my home, a large cave I found leading into the ground, I set my bow down and proceed to make a fire. Xena sits just outside the entrance, guarding me from any enemies, even I don't have any enemies, or friends for that matter. I'm more of a loner. I have Xena for company. What more could you need?

I'm out of flint; I'll have to go find more tomorrow. Looks like today I'll be using sticks to make my fire. Eventually I get a spark and am able to warm my numb hands and feet. Xena smells the smoke, trots inside and curls up close to the fire. She is soon asleep. I grab the thin woolen blanket I keep in my cave and lay it out on the floor, hoping to make the hard ground the slightest bit softer. I toss and turn for hours before I decide to take a short walk.

The forest is extremely peaceful at night. I feel a chill breeze blow, rustling the leaves of the trees. The stars are unusally bright tonight, combined with the shining brilliance of the full moon, I can easily see the forest trail tonight. I've always felt a strong connection with the stars; they've always been there and always will be. They almost seem to speak to me sometimes, I feel like I know them personally.

Soon, I start to get sleepy and decide to walk back to my cave. Maybe I can finally get some sleep.

Leo~

I wake up to find that the sun is just rising, already I'm feeling sleepy, even though I tried to sleep all night. Finn jumps on me and says; "Come on come on come on! Get your shirt on and start training! We need to be good to survive the Tests." Then he jumps off and goes to the flint pile near my doorway and starts to sharpen his claws on it. I groan and get out of my bed. Or more specifically, my pile of furs wich I sleep on. I get my shirt on and put on my knives and tie my sandals. By then Finn has finished sharpening his claws and is waiting impatiently by the door. I wack out and see that nobody else is outside yet. Or at least, whoever's outside is hiding. I sigh and go to the arena, where everyone trains. I grab a dummy and place it in front of me, then I get my knives out and start to fight. It's pretty easy, considering I'm good with my knives and Finn can fight well, plus my opponent is a stuffed dummy incapable of defending itself.

I'm in the middle of stabbing the dummy in its face when I hear soft footsteps behind me. I turn around with Finn on my shoulder and I see Eo. I relax and nod to him as he drags out another dummy and starts to spar with it with a broadsword. I sigh and continue practicing.

* * *

Exhausted and sweaty, I fall onto my bed and sigh. Finn and I spent a few hours sparring, and now we wait. The chief said that we would have one hour to recuperate and then the Tests would begin. I groan and sit up. While Finn snoozes at the foot of my bed, I sharpen my daggers to a fine point. Once I've finished, I look at the handles. I always llike the daggers. The handles were shaped like a dragon's head, its mouth open and the blade coming out of its mouth like a long, silvery tongue. The dragon's eyes were dark red rubies, and it was carved out of a Narwhale's horn. At least, my dad told me that. It wasn't very plausible though, narwhale's lived in the arctic, with the Chills. Dad always used to sit at the border bewteen the savannah and the arctic.

At least until he ran away. My fingers tighten on the handles of the knives. Dad ran away a long time ago. I never knew why. All he left was the daggers and a note saying he was going back home. I never understood it. Wasn't here his home? I shake away the tears starting to form and lie down. I poke Finn with my toe and say; "Wake me up in an hour, 'kay?" Then I fall back into sleep. The last thing I thought before I went to sleep was:

Gotta remember that the Tests start with fighting and we do it at the border.....

Usually huts

(April 21, 2016 - 7:02 pm)

Yeah, huts with earth walls and thatched roofs. Saaaay, I was thinking of the Tests, and I now think they basically decide where your position will be in the tribe. (I'm guessing Sundrops have different tribes..?) I'm thinking there will be fighting tests, marching in the deserts, (There will be deserts, right?) and probably gathering-as-much-food-as-you-can-in-a-barren-desert competitions. Also I think that the competitors would have to go away from home and like, have to gather their own food and hunt and stuff, even when not being trained in hunting and gathering competitions. (I call them competitions, but really, they're not as friendly as the usual competitions.)

And like it would sort of be like in the army, as in that everyone trvels in a group and gets trained. Also, when the chief said that you'll only witness the Tests once in your lifetime, he meant that you'll only compete in them once in your lifetime. But don't worry, there'll be lots more than one competition. Like, you could have twenty hunter competitions in one Tests. But only ONE ULTIMATE COMPETITION!

Uh, I'm thinking that the ULTIMATE COMPETITION-THINGY is where you go back home, get into the arena, let the other people grab popcorn and a cold drink and choose a seat to watch, then there will be one:

Hunter Test. Basically where the people put certain animals (Wild boars, Gazzelle, Zebra, ect.) in the arena, put bushes and stuff in the arena, then just get the competitors to hunt down the animals as fast as they can. (It's timed. So try not to get sidetracked with fighting off the vicious animals. Consentrate on the prey, 'kay?)

Gatherer Test. Take away the animals. Put so many bushes in the arena that it's like a comeplete maze. Put berries and poison berries and poison ivy and hemlock in the maze. Then get the competitors to gather as many none-poison berries as they can. Hope you know your plants, kid!

Warrior Test. Take out the bushes and trees and stuff. Put two competitors in the arena. First guy to have a wound loses, but you're judged by honour, fighting skill, and sportsmanship. Don't stab an unarmed guy, and try not to punch him in the face if you lose.

Battle Test. Put the maze of bushes back in. Put the poisoned and edible plants in there. Put savage beasts in there. Put the competitors in different parts of the maze, (Blindfolded of course.) sound a battle horn, then let the battle commence! Of course, you un-blindfold them once they're in their places in the maze. (The participants must fight eachother. Not to the death, mind you, just to the first person to have a wound. Person who has one wound is likely to get a position in the tribe that's close to the top. Two wounds, means just a little farther than one. Three wounds, ect.)

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, DO YOU LIKE IT?

~Eliane~
Testing is tomorrow! I'm so nervous! I've worked hard, but I'm sure I'll mess up.
I'm too anxious to sleep, so instead, I crawl out of bed and sleepily stumble over towards the door.
Once I'm outside, I take a deep breath and transform into an eagle. Stretching my arms out, they form into wings as I lift off the ground and start to fly.
I soar over everything, my worries left down on the ground along with the huts and sleeping people. Exhilaration runs through my body as I fly higher, higher, up and away.
