Greek role-play cont.

Chatterbox: Inkwell

Greek role-play cont.

Greek role-play cont. Koffee asked me for this, so I made it. Here's a short summary:

Xlanalx(Pirocks) is ruling most of Persia and ready to attack Greece.

Aaliasha was hired as Xlanalx's spy. Kept in Sparat so she wouldn't know about what happens to Persia.

Wren is Xlanalx's spy.

Jenri is cooperating with Elyte to overthrow Xlanalx (or something).

Elyte is Xlanlx's messanger.

ALL OF THESE HAVE BEEN TAKEN! IF YOU WISH TO JOIN, MAKE A NEW CHARACTER!!!!!!!

Shocked, Aslishia stared into the face of her former schoolmate. Orna? Here? How could that be? Orna seemed to recognize her. "Aalishia? What are you doing, in Greece of all places." Orna and Aalishia had been school enemies, bitter rivals. Would Aalishia never rid herself of that vicious little insect? Anything or anyone from Persia could endanger her mission-especially someone with a grudge against her.

((Sorry, I know this thing is horrible, but my mom wants me off the computer.))

"Aalishia? Aalishia? Are you even paying attention? I said, WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING HERE?" Orna impatiently waved her hand in front of Aalishia's face.

Aalishia gave Orna a cold, distasteful look, as if she was staring at something the dog at left behind. "Me? What am I doing here? What about you? Aren't you supposed to be in Persia, torturing some poor little school girl or something? Huh? Why are you here?"

Orna drew herself up to her full height and glared at Aalishia down her nose. "That," Orna said in the iciest voice she could muster, "is none of your beeswax."

((Yes, both of you are welcome. ))

"That is none of your beeswax!" declared Orna. Though Orna was standing as tall as possible, Aalishia was pleased to see that her rival was several inches shorter than herself. "Well, in that, case, I had better leave before your mediocrity rubs off on me. I have some top secret business to attend to," answered Aalishia coolly. And she did have to go, especially now that the fate of Persia lay in her hands. But curiosity drove her, and she made no move to leave. Surely it would help Persia to find out what mischief this vicious little gutterchild was up to in Greece?

Hello! Could I join this roleplay? I'll take that as a yes.

Charla surveyed the commotion in the market place from the narrow alley that had been her home for as long as she could remember. Taking a deep breath, she darted out into the bustling crowds and began the chant: "Master, could you spare a few coppers for a little girl's dinner? A few coins is all I ask, miss." Almost every time, she was brushed off with a glare and a muttered insult, and by the end of the day, she had barely enough for a loaf of bread. She purchased dinner, and had no money left over. It had been like this for the past few weeks, like suddenly, she wasn't cute anymore. And for a girl who relied on pity to get dinner in a pitiless city like Athens needed to be cute, or she'd starve to death.

Hi. Can I join?

Ivryn stared warily around. He was not from here, nor anywhere in particular. His hand never strayed far from the hilt of his dagger. Everywhere he went, he was met with frightened stares, as if any stranger might be a spy. Last time I ever enter a war-torn country. He thought, a little moodily.
To his left, a raggedy girl caught his eye. She was begging for coins, and for the most part not getting them. This was not the first beggar he had ever seen, here or elsewhere, but there was a certain determined look to her that made him walk over to her and hand her a coin from one of the countries he'd visited.
     "Keep it." He said.
((Ivryn can swell the ranks of--if not good, then better guys. Poor Biblios!))

((Ahem. Hate to interrupt the roleplay drama, but HELP! Where is everyone? The missing charries include-

Lord Xlanalx, written by Pirocks

Elyte,  written by Mary W.

Jenri, written by Phoenix, I think

Wren, written by Koffee

Biblios, written by Wizard.

Please come back to the roleplay! It will wither and die without these key characters. If you have quit the roleplay, let us know. PLEASE!!!  Also, Aliza, Caroline A., you may not know this, but all out-of-story writing is enclosed in double parentheses. Like so-((___)) Thanks! -Annie))

((Sorry, I didn't know to do the double parentheses, but I'll be sure to do that from now on. Also, it looks like Allison P., or 'Orna', is missing, too. Do you know if she's still on chatterbox? I haven't seen her posting at all.))

Charla stared in awe at the large gold coin in her hands. This would pay for dinner for almost a fortnight! Sticking the coin in her torn cloth bag, she turned to the market. Dinner awaited her. Trying to find her way among the crowds, she stumbled, tripped, and finally fell flat on her face, near two girls arguing in raised voices. The taller of the two turned to stride off, and ran smack into her. Charla scrambled to her feet, embarrassed, and helped the girl up. The girl tossed her braided hair and glared at her in rising fury.
