Greek role-play cont.

Greek role-play cont. Koffee asked me for this, so I made it. Here's a short summary:

Xlanalx(Pirocks) is ruling most of Persia and ready to attack Greece.

Aaliasha was hired as Xlanalx's spy. Kept in Sparat so she wouldn't know about what happens to Persia.

Wren is Xlanalx's spy.

Jenri is cooperating with Elyte to overthrow Xlanalx (or something).

Elyte is Xlanlx's messanger.

ALL OF THESE HAVE BEEN TAKEN! IF YOU WISH TO JOIN, MAKE A NEW CHARACTER!!!!!!!

(( I have a plan to get the missing characters to return. Look for a thread that they have recently posted on. Post something relevant, so as not to annoy the other posters. Then add, "P.S. _______, come back to the Greek roleplaying story!" Add the name of the new thread in case they left before it started.))

Aalisha stared in utter bewilderment at the young boy who, just seconds ago, had spouted a stream of gibberish, apparently some foreign language. "But-but-the Greek gods aren't real! They're just icons that the Greeks invented so they could have someone to worship and blame their problems on. The Persian gods are the real ones. Itheos is the real god of literature." She glared at him. "Biblios" sighed impatiently. "Yes, yes Persian girl. But the fact is that Itheos is the biggest snob on the face of the planet, and we aren't in Persia right now. Do you know who has been making so many sacrifices to my temple?" Aalisha took a step back and took a deep breath. "Well, I don't know for sure, but I'm betting I could guess who." Biblios waited. When she didn't go on, he asked impatiently, "Well, who?"

She cracked half a smile. "Lord Xlanalx, Lord of Ainoidecam. You won't have to look far. He's after me, and his guards should be here any second."

It's all right. We don't want to pressure them into coming back.

Xlanalx? Xlanalx had never seemed a threat to the gods. It was common knowledge that he wanted control of Olympus, in fact, he had once made an extremely unsuccessful bid for power, which Zeus had crushed, but he had never seemed to have any chance of winning. But this plan seemed like an intelligent one. All of the minor gods could turn against the Olympian Council without the major dieties finding out until it was too late. Xlanalx almost definetely had one or more gods on his side. Phobos and Deimos had been acting strange recently...

Bilblios adressed everyone in the alley. "Is everyone here opposed to Xlanalx?"

(( COME BACK, PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!! Why has this thread died?))

Ummmm.... I'm betting it died because it centers on Xlanalx, and Pirocks unofficiallly abandoned the roleplay around when we switched to the New thread. Maybe we'd get on better if someone took over Xlanalx. I'm here if anyone needs me to come back.

((I'm really busy, but I said I'd stay on this thread, so I will.))

"After you?" Ivyrn jumped. "Xlanalx's guards are after you and you didn't say a thing? I have a less than sweet history with Ainoidecam's lord. Let's have this conversation elsewhere."

Aalisha rolled her eyes. "I lost them, of course. I'm not about to get shipped to Sparta."

"You lost Xlanalx's guards? They're the best trackers in Greece, Sparta, Ainoidecam, and Persia, all together!" Ivyrn gasped.

Aalisha's eyes glinted in fury. "Be careful what you say."

Biblios looked confused. "Sparta? What?"

Aalisha sighed. "I'd feel a lot more comfortable carrying out this conversation in my room. Xlanalx may not have been confident with just his guards. I'm pretty sure he sent some spies after me."

Ivryn looked astonished. "Xlanalx sent spies after a you, little girl? What have you done to make him so distrustful?"

"The name's Aalisha!"

They dissolved into quiet bickering. Charla looked around at the gathering. They all had different interests and goals, but it seemed for a moment that they were a group. She wondered what would happen when their interests collide. The fall or rise of Athens was immenient, and she had a feeling they were all hoping for different outcomes. The tall girl-Aalishia-Biblios had called her "Persian Girl". He might have been guessing, but then, he was a god. She probably hoped that Athens would fall so that Persia could take over. Her un-friend, Orna, looked less ambitious and sneaky, but still nasty. No doubt that she wanted Persia to win, too. Biblios would naturally side with the Athenians, being a greek god. Ivyrn was a foreigner, a traveler or merchant. She had liked what she'd seen of him so far, but he wouldn't wan't to trouble himself with saving her homeland. His homeland probably had problems of its own to deal with. Charla herself just wanted a meal and a place to sleep other than an alley. If this was the way to get there, then so be it.

"Come on." she called out to the arguing Ivryn and Aalisha. Biblios was still looking confused, and Orna was glaring at them all, as if being near them was dishonourable. "If were going to work together on this, then we had better get off of the steets before nightfall."

Meanwhile, a young girl looks up at Xlanalx.  She wears a simple linen tunic and has coiled dark hair. "I'm Iliona, sir. The Athenians captured me, see. I will do anything to help avenge them. I know this sounds a lot for a child 12 summers old, but Xlanalx, I truly want to help."
