Whoa, St.Owl! Slow down! You're already doing a solo write! Plus a Ski Lodge! What's gotten into you?
In one word: Summer. It's incredibly boring. Most of my friends don't live close by and are busy during the summer, so I've got a lot of free time on my hands. One solo write isn't enough-- I need MORE!
So, to elaborate on this idea . . .
I've been thinking about this a bit, and decided I want to do one solo write for each major fandom. I've already done Harry Potter and Percy Jackson-- now I'm doing, well, space in general. The major fandoms I hope to encorporate are Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Star Trek (I watched my first episode today!). However, you can also be a creature from a different fandom (*cough*IWouldHighlyAppreciateSomeHitchhiker'sGuideReferences*cough*) if you wish. I will not promise I'm familiar with your choice fandom, though, so if I can't find the species on Google, don't be it. I also want completely canon aliens-- none made-up, please, as it makes it more difficult to write about.
Also, no AEs. I may make references to them just because, but in general, they cannot sign up. Sorry.
For those of you who are unfamiliar (I really should have done this sooner), a solo write is where one person writes about the events of other CBers in a certain environment. If a puzzle is going on, or something in need of deciphering, you can most surely offer up ideas and I may encorporate them into the story. However, this is NOT AN RP.
On the subject of species, I would like it if you tried to be as creative as possible with them. Try to choose a more minor race-- we don't want fifty Time Lords, after all. (by the way, I am going to be one, so I will permit ONE MORE TIME LORD-- first come, first serve.)
Speaking of which, if you see a character you like, you may request to be affiliated with them in some way. For example, you could ask to be my companion, or perhaps a crewman on somebody's ship. I may be introducing canon characters during the story as well. This paragraph is just last-minute thoughts that should come before the charrie sheet.

NAME: Elina Jaxon AKA Enny
AGE: 16
RACE: Cyborg(40% cyborg, which is a lot)/Caucasian
FANDOM: Lunar Chronicles
APPEARANCE: Long light brown hair past her armpits, chocolate brown eyes, alabaster skin, wears hair in a ponytail with a black headband, wears jeggings and a comfy tank top. Also wears a simple gold necklace from her mom that she plays with when she's thinking. Important cyborg parts: right cyborg hand, a few cyborg toes, some other random things, and cyrborg brain that's not visible, but she does have a panel you can open up
PERSONALITY: Extremely determined, optimistic minded but makes sarcastic jokes, is a planner and hesitant to make big decisions, likes to be familiar with everyone
POWERS: No "powers" (no, not the Lunar gift, she doesn't have that) but enhanced abilites. She has "Google brain" meaning she can look up stuff in her brain. Also impeccable hearing and pretyt good vision too.
WEAPONS: Hitting and kicking. She also has tranquilizer darts she can shoot from her finger, but those are pricey and hard to find, so she doens't have a lot of them.
BACKSTORY: When she was five she was in a building that was falling down (you can come up with details for that...maybe it was a bomb from an enemy in the story or something). Her dad was killed and she escaped but with severe injuries. She would've died but her mother paid almost all their money to get cyborg parts installed, so as a result they were very poor. She lived with her mother who taught her to always keep going, never give up, etc. Her mother died when she was twelve. She also had a little brother named Tristan, but he apparently died when he was a baby. Apparently. Her mother only spoke of it once, and was very vague, hint hint, perhaps an opening for something there...*evil writer smile*

Name: R'Mria
Age: 26
Race: Caitian
Fandom: Star Trek
Appearance: Caitians are a species of cat-like people from the Animated Series. R'Mria has chestnut colored fur with faint dark brown leopard spots, piercing yellow eyes and a long, thin cat tail. She wears a red Starfleet uniform, signifying her to be a communications officer.
Personality: Sharp and sly, R'Mria is a personification of the feline. She is fiercly loyal to her surperiors and friends, and is hardy in a fight or tough situation. Like most Caitians, she is cooperative and diplomatic, but can be emotionless or silent at times, reminescent of a Vulcan.
Powers: She has extremely sharp hearing and is agile and speedy.
Weapons: Phaser gun
Backstory: None, except she graduated from Starfleet Academy with average scores and traveled to several planets on the Starship Endeavor NCC-1723 A.

I have never watched Star Trek, so please don't be offended if I don't get any of the references.

PERSONALITY: Erm... Rather sarcastic. I'm trying not to be.

WEAPONS: Han Solo blaster, baby!
BACKSTORY: A relative pilot. Can fly a ship well, but prefers ground fighting.

Appearance: Short, light brown hair. Wears the stuff a Jedi wears under their capes.
Backstory: She doesn't know. She lives with a man who used to work with the Rebels and is in leage with them but has no ship, no past, no battle knowledge.
Elizabeth can fix a jammed blaster and fly a ship. She sometimes practices with her mentor's lightsaber, and is relativly good.

Name: Auiq Hickok
Age: 23
Race: Xexto (look these up on Wookiepedia)
Fandom: Star Wars
Appearance: The norm for a Xexto. Six arms (two are used for walking), long neck, big eyes, and pale skin. What appears to be Earth Wild West gear, with light armor underneath. Four blaster revolvers are slung on his belt.
Personality: Auiq aspires to be a true vigilante, defender of good. Dispensing rightful justice upon those who would seek to unbalance the system, he sees himself as a great hero.
Backstory: Auiq was abandoned as a small child. The little Basic he learned was from tall tales of the ancient Earth "gunslingers". In his eyes, these "gunslingers" were the greatest warriors, free to do anything and keep evildoers in check. Now, rumors are beginning to spread of a vigilante clothed in the garb of ancient times... and wearing a large Stetson hat.
Powers: Being a meter-tall, spindly Xexto, Auiq is naturally agile. Xexto brains are split between the head and chest, with the head managing basic body functions and the chest performing higher thinking. This gives him little combat advantage, though it can be useful in some situations.
Weapons: He wields four blaster revolvers, one in each hand.

Okay! This is excellent-- just the right amount of people.
Firstly, let me confirm that my trivia isn't amazing. I was honestly expecting more Doctor Who people, as (as I've said) I watched exactly one episode of the original Star Trek series (although I did just watch the new movie, which is actually really good, I'd recommend it) and I haven't watched most of the Star Wars ones for years (though I want to rewatch them). Let's hope Google does its stuff.
I'm using this post mostly to confirm that I've got everybody's race and such situated. I'm going to post the first installation tomorrow. If I got someone wrong, or missed anybody, let me know and I'll pop you in.

CAPTAIN'S LOG-- DAY ONE
This is Captain Auiq Hickok, of the new Starship Endeavor. Our mission is to fly back to the ancient remains of the Milky Way and examine planet Earth, the anarchy that used to be a major force in Outer Space.
My crew is mostly promising. I have my doubts over one of my pilots, Elizabeth, who I feel should be moved to a fighting sector. However, the other pilots are able to pick up her slack and they generally work together well.
R'Mria, our Comm Officer, is one I have high hopes for. Although she graduated with only average marks, she is an amazing crewman and one I feel I could trust with my life.
First Officer Ariel K'Tosh is young but promising. Partially Klingon, she's good with weapons and one I admire.
The first day in space for us was uneventful. The Endeavor is a beautiful ship, possibly bested only by the famed Enterprise. This ship will get us through anything coming our way, I can just--
Wait. What's going on?
The sirens are flashing.
We're under attack . . . !
TARDIS FILES-- DAY ONE
This is Captain Saint reporting from the TARDIS, and the fact that I'm doing this is a magnificent achievement. This is my dad's old ship, and with a bit of tinkering I was able to get it off the ground. Skaro has been destroyed; my parents are dead. So are the Daleks, and the rest of my own kind. Not that I care.
This is the first flight on the newly repaired TARDIS. We recently crashed on a deserted planet, covered by desert-- a deserted desert. Sorry, couldn't help it. Anyway, it didn't house any hostile creatures, so I was able to repair this old clunker in peace. She's doing some decent flying now.
I've set my flight course to Earth, sometime in the 3000's century. If the TARDIS library is right, and I've got no reason to not believe it, the famed crew of the Endeavor should be arriving soon, and Earth is full of robots and cyborgs, which is pretty cool. It'll make for some good sightseeing.
Aaand we've landed. I hope this won't attract too much attention, but seeing as I got the chameleon functions back online the TARDIS really shouldn't. I'm stepping out of the door . . .

Appearance: pale green skin tone, with of course the green lekku--or head tails.
Personality: Focused, brave, and protective. Untrusting and hostile toward strangers. Sarcastic, but has a good sense of humor.
Powers: Not really.
Weapons: Blaster, and a ship?
Backstory: She's a pilot on a smuggling ship. A few others are with her.
