Xena clutched the fountain pen lightly, watching as it turned into a dagger in her hands. "What does this mean?" she asked.
"You're powerful, Xena. More powerful than this world," Eva said, staring at Xena, who looked very confused. "You can't stay here. You have to go to the Mythical Realm."
Xena looked up from the dagger, silver, with a black hilt, and answered, "The Mythical Realm? That's a myth!"
"Not always," Eva replied, smiling.

The Magic Ones RP: PLOT
In this world, power is nearly nonexistent. The reason for this is the Mythical Realm, a world where all magical beings live. There was a time where all people knew of this other world, but as time passed, the world became a myth to everyone except for those who belong. A young woman named Eva has made it her mission to collect every magical child and creature and bring them to this dimension, as they would never be able to fit in without hiding their powers in the real world. You are one of those children.

I stare at Will. “I-I- who cares about cleaning up? We killed someone. Maybe they lived in a hill and every day dreamed of moving to a mountain. Maybe they painted in clay on the hills of an island in Rilas, which is famous for the colored ground. Maybe they had a living pet rock that they loved so much that when it died they asked the Council of Mighty Stone to bring the rock back to life, but they refused, and the golem buried the rock beneath a maple tree and visits them every day to sit and think and mourn their pet. Maybe their wife was killed attacking people like us and they had to raise a child by themselves, and now the child will die because it has no one, because we were heartless and the golem wanted to get revenge so their wife could be at peace. Maybe-“
Zara looks up at me and says quietly, “Maybe they loved. Maybe they lived. Maybe you can help, if you’re crazy. But definitely they were trying to kill us, and definitely we needed to fight back.” I’m surprised she wasn’t sarcastic. Or maybe I shouldn’t be surprised. Why does no one care about a life, a real life? There was a quote... “War is a monstrous failure of the imagination.” Ian, Stellax, and Alliya look over, some waking from straining their powers too much. “To kill, you must have one notion of the people you are fighting- the enemy, not people, the enemy. But that’s not true.” I’m talking faster now, quoting things I didn’t know existed, quoting from the future. “There was a war, in one of my books. A thousand year old feud. It was going to destroy a mountain, and so many lives. But someone stopped it, by magic that let the dragons read each other’s minds, see each other’s fears.” I don’t want to kill Caracapezc, or anyone, or imprision them forever and ever. “We fight because of fear. Thinking we have to kill the other one before they kill us.” My voice is louder now, and everyone is looking. “War is a monstrous failure of the imagination. It’s a failure of love, it’s a failure of truth, it’s a failure of everything good. Imprisioning Caracapezc just made his resentment build. I am not going to kill Caracapezc. I am going to apologize to him, and explain how what he did was wrong, and ask him not to start any more wars. I am going to make him a birthday cake, and then when it’s over, I am going to give them a fresh start. A new name, and a chance to prove himself to the Sun Elves. I will not hurt. I will not kill.”
Everything is silent. Then I hear laughter. Eva walks through and looks at the mess, still laughing. “Nice hero speech, Sky. But Caracapezc is not going to listen- he’s going to kill you in one blow. I was the first to trust him, and I won’t ever trust him again. There is only one way to fight this- kill Caracapezc.”
”You mean Tom.” Mira says quietly.
Eva freezes. “How- how did you know that name?”
”Something happened to you,”Mira says evenly. “You have a story- everyone does. Tell us who you are.”
And Eva does, words spilling out like water in the ocean.
”My name is Eva Wilder. I never knew my parents. I’m from the mortal realm, originally. My parents saw me and my brother had powers, so they gave us to the highest order- the chief. Remember, this was a thousand years ago. They knew magic was something to be kept, and cherished. When they saw there was a Realm with almost infinite magic, they made me take them there, but the portal would not let them through. They thought I was keeping them out. They took my brother Leon away and threatened them. But I saved Leon, and we went to the Mythical Realm together. We lived in peace for much time, until another one sought us out wanting our powers. I was 18 by then- well versed in the ways of the world, I thought. So I said no to the Sorcerers, and power, for I remembered what happened when I was young, and living in the mortal realm. But then they sent a beautiful, smooth-talking Sun Elf, who Leon didn’t like. I said yes. Years went by, and me and Leon lived happily. But then Caracapezc turned. They ran away. The night of our first date, they committed their first murder. I found out. Me and Leon tried to fight them. But they killed Leon, killed my only companion, and made their escape as I prayed to see Leon again, someday. Ian- you look like them, act like them, my prayer has come true. Through my long life, the war raged on. Finally, the Sorcerers fought back. I charged into battle, looking for revenge for my brother. I wanted to kill them, but we imprisionrd them instead. I thought they killed me, but 500 years later I had a dream, of death is like a long sleep. I saw Caracapezc escaping. I saw the new generation, and the reincarnation of my beloved brother. And then-“ Eva finishes, “I woke up.”
Everything is silent for a long moment. Then Eva says to Mira tersely, “You’re getting better at persuading.”

C’mon, guys! This is getting to be a pretty awesome RP, and a long-running one. We can’t let it die now! I realize I just made the plot a LOT more confusing, but I’d been thinking about that for a while. I guess I didn’t want to have it as simple as good vs. evil with the goal being kill evil. I’ve been dropping hints about not wanting to kill Caracapezc throughout my posts, as well. I was thinking Caracapezc could attack in two (RP, not real life) days, and we should start planning for that. Whoever has been topping this, can you post? Also I changed my CB name to Blue Moon, btw.

I guess I agree with Sky, that I don't really want to kill Caracapezc. On a different note, we totally need a nickname for him. Caracapezc is a mouthful. But after we killed that golem, I was scared. I don't want to be a murderer, even if it's for a good cause. But I have to figure it out quickly. Caracapezc is going to attack soon, I can just tell. I'm getting pretty good at efficiantly swithching shapes, but one thought haunts me: Am I good enough to beat a monster? I never should have come here. I had a better life back home. I don't even want to think about this anymore.

I suppose that Eva is a bit less dark and mysterious now that she told us about her origins. But I can't believe that she's related to Ian! Major plot twist right there. And if I thought it's going to be hard to kill Cara, (can I call him that?) it's going to be incredibly hard for her. I mean, she loved him at one point! But that might be good news. If he was capable of love, then we might be able to bring him back, and make him a good person. That would be better than killing or banishing him.

@Sky, yeah, that's kinda what i wanted to do too. @Allie, i want to have him turn good in the end too, and have whatever corrupted him be destroyed...maybe the thing that corrupted him could be a sentient amulet?

Ian looked at the rest of the group and asked the question we were all thinking. "... But... why did he become evil?" "i honestly have no idea. He had gone into the Fangg Mountains a month before h-he turned, as a rite of passage into the High Elf Council, and those mountains were known for evil..." "were?" "yes, they collapsed several years after t-Caracapezc was imprisoned." she suddenly grinned and raised her eyebrows "You know, Ian, you and Xena were a little more than friends last time." Xena and Ian looked at each other and blushed. Sky snickered. Ian suddenly felt a wall finally break in his head and a memory came through.
Leon grinned as Eva cracked a joke. It wasn't a very GOOD joke, per se, but it was good to see Eva saying something about anything other than Tom. "Eva..." Leon halted "Hmm?" she replied "Eva, i know you really like Tom, but there's something...Dark about him. " "'Course there is, he's the Sorceror of Darkness after all" "I know, but i mean something...evil. it's like he...he emanates evil." "You know, if you weren't my brother i'd say you were jealous!" "no, i just... i just want to protect you." "PROTECT ME?!?! if you hadn't noticed, i'm eighteen now, i'm not the helpless little sibling that you grew up with!" "i-I know, but you're still my little sister, an i'd do anthing to protet you." "Hmmph, it's not like you spend any time with me anymore, you spend it all with Calla!" he recoiled, stung "th-Thats not true!" "Yeah, sure. go see Calla, it's not like i care!" he looked at her, clearly hurt "Okay, if you really don't want me, maybe i WILL go and spend all my time with Calla!" he stormed off, obviously going to Calla's cottage. Eva called after him: "i-I'm sorry, i didn't mean that!" but it was to late, he wasn't looking back.
Ian gasped and realize i'm lying on the ground and holding my head with everyone staring at me. "Eva! you could be very mean at times...also you were my LITTLE sister?...waiiiiit, Caracapezc was a SORCEROR?!?! of DARKNESS?!?!" everyone stares at me and Eva gasps and runs to hug me. Tightly. "Can't...breathe" i manage to rasp. "oh, sorry...what memory did you get?!?" "ummmm... the one where you accuse me of spending all my time with...Calla, whoever that was." she smirked "that was Xena's past reincarnation." everyone except me and Xena snickers. then, Xena changed the subject. "did you say Caracapezc was a Grand Sorceror?!? and you were his LITTLE sister?!?" everyone snickers, though not at Ian and Xena this time.

Actually, i would prefer it if Leon had fought at the Battle of Sorcery (my name for the battle in which Caracapezc was imprisoned) and i think i get a little say in that, Leon being my charrie's previous reincarnation and all.

Of course, Catsclaw! I was godmodding a bit, and I made Leon kind of the victim. How about when they were escaping the human world it was Eva who was imprisoned and Leon who saved her, and later Leon just got really hurt by Caracapezc but still fought? Also, I was thinking if it was an amulet that would defeat the purpose,it would just make the object the bad guy instead. How about...
Caracapezc was shunned by the Sun Elves from a young age, because darkness was frowned upon. Caracapezc tried to tell them that darkness was the time of wild jungles and hidden secrets, of catching fireflies and catching stars. Not of evil. But they didn’t believe him. He was worried if he told the other Sorcerers, they would think he was evil, too. So instead of living with them, he lived with the Stone Elves, who were dark and quiet and never threw him out. But the whispers began to get to him, and the Stone Elves encouraged him. Something the Sorceror of Fire said drove him over the edge. One night, after a date with Eva, the amazing and smart Sorceror of Bridging, he snuck out to the home of the Sun Elves. There he found his old schoolteacher, the one who was there when he discovered he was the Sorceror of Darkness and first hated him. He raised a dagger. I’m not evil!” Caracapezc yelled as he slit their throat. But then there was another whisper. It might’ve been his mind, or the dying words of his teacher, or even the hoot of an owl sitting on a branch near him. You weren’t evil... but now you are.
Wow! I’ve been writing a LOT of detailed backstories lately. My fingers are sore...

Moonlight, it'll be tricky for you to join now as this RP is in full swing and more than halfway done. You'll have to ask Lucy B., but I think you could be a side character (such if Caracapezc gets into the mortal world you could be a regular person that helps us fight, or a non-Sorceror mythical being). It's too late for you to be a Sorceror's reincarnation, but I bet we can squeeze you in somewhere.

Power: Well she isn't one of the sorcerors, but she can control air a little bit (like air blasts and that is about it)
Appearance: Jet black hair always in a ponytail, amber eyes, Pale skin, Wears a dark blue athletic shirt with black athletic leggings. Wears black fingerless gloves and black and silver boots. (Sorry if this is to long but when I get an idea in my head I write it down and this is what happens.)

Lexi was born in the mythical realm. Her parents were suporters of Caracapezc. When they found out she had powers, they sent her to be apprenticed to Caracapezc. She didn't like him and rebelled with a group of apprentices. Caracapezc found out and captured her. She worked for him and regretted her powers. When Caracapezc was captured, she escaped. Now when he escapes he will be looking for all of his former slaves, servants, and apprentices. Either hunting or searching. His height of his power is to turn some people into dark warriors.
Is it okay about the part about Caracapezc? If not I can totally change it! Please let me join!!!! Okay I am done. I like to talk alot. So well I am just yeah just gonna stop like now.
