LilyPad clutched the letter in her trembling fingers, her heart thumping in her chest. She knew this familiar handwritten scrawl and parchment envelope. She tore the letter open and her eyes widened.

This is a CBers at Hogwarts Solo Write. I look forward to seeing how much trouble we can get into in the magical world.

Dear CBer,

We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. A list of required books and items is enclosed. Term starts on the 1st of September at platform 9 3/4. .

Yours sincerely,

Minerva McGonagall

CBer name: LilyPad

Gender: Girl

Appearance: long blond hair, emerald green eyes and pale, freckled skin. Has a slim build and often wears colourful dresses and skirts (when not at Hogwarts).

Personality: Bouncy, playful and optimistic. Never gets bored and is full of ideas. Liked to brighten up a dark day with a good adventure. Is clever and thinks quickly.

Wand: eleven and a half inches. Alder wood with unicorn hair core. Flexible. Good for charm work and transfiguration.

House: Ravenclaw

Animal (cat, owl, toad or rat): cat

Bringing to Hogwarts: all equipment (wand, books ect.) Chewabacca the ginger cat, portable music player, seventeen note books, practically the entire library, a Nimbus 2001 broomstick, snacks and my lucky charm.

Other: N/A

I will except twelve charries (please note, they will all be first years.)

If you're not sure about houses, wands or animals I can add that into the story for you. Let's get started!

Oh and by the way, CBers will be able to participate through the solo write. For example, I might do a sign up for Quiddich trials (well'e see if we can bend the first year rule) when CBers will be asked to specify what they would like to try out for, their ability and their type of broomstick. Anyway, we will get to that later.

Dear Diary,

I don't think Hogwarts is the right place for me at all. I got into a fight as soon as I got there, trust me to do something as stupid as that. So much for "fitting in." Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only muggle born here.

Anyway, I met this other girl today. She seemed nice. Her name is Moonfrost and I hope we're in the same house. At least I'll have one friend at this place. I course, the twelve sickles that mum gave me this morning came in very useful. I bought myself and my new friend cauldron cakes and pumpkin pasties, which are even more delicious than they sound.

Apparently I'm not too bad off though. Two more first years were put into detention for setting fly a few fireworks on the train. Imagine being put in detention before we even arrive? I bet it was worth it though, to see the looks on everyone's faces.

We're nearly at Hogwarts now, thank goodness, and I can tell you I am looking forward to the feast, but maybe not the sorting. Those pumpkin pasties seem like ages ago.

Sincerely, Secret

...was that me? That was put into detention? Uh oh.

And for the record, my owl's name is Bravura.

@Starseeker and Kyoto, Is it ok if I make you two the sort of "trouble makers" of the  story, a bit like Fred and George?

I don’t mind at all!

Sure, I suppose; I've never really pictured myself that way, but I have no problems being one.

Thanks so much Starseeker. What I mean by trouble maker is just an outgoing, funny person who's not afraid to get their own back and thinks rules are made to be bended. People like you and things like that, you get good grades. But you think their is a life outside of school work (even at school)

"Firs' years, this way." Night had fallen as the Hogwarts Express pulled in along the banks of the Lake and the students loaded off the train, chatting excitedly. Aspen wriggled her way through a crowd of students and followed the voice, her heart in her mouth. She new what she was going to see, but it didnt make it any less exciting. Hagrids rather large, friendly face greeted the first years at a tall oak tree. "I'm Rubeus Hagrid." He rumbled, grinning. "But 'course, ya'll know that already." He wiped his nose on his sleeve. "Right this way. Mind your head." Aspen was bustled along in the group towards the lake. "For people in a boat." Hagrid adds. A dozen or so wooden rowing boats were tied to the bank, bobbing up and down in the water. Aspen hurredly scrambled into a boat. After she had burst into a compartment full of third years on the train, Aspen was desperate to make a good first impression to the other students in her year.

As the boats filled up, they began to drift away from the harbour. The boats rowed themselves magically across the glassy water and the students oohed and aahed. Aspen was in a boat with a tall girl with a shiny copper bob, a girl with long brown hair and a boy who seemed to be reading a book. In the dark. Suddenly, the boats passed a bend and the magical figure of the Hogwarts castle loomed in front of them. Aspen gasped and the brown haired girl clapped her hand over her mouth. But the boy just kept reading.

More later, guys!

Nice. I would totally be the boy who's reading. Except that I'm not a boy.

Heh..yeah. In case you are wondering, the boy with the book is a NPC, and not a real CBer. I'll add a few of them.

Am I the girl with the shiny copper bob? Also, don't know why, but when I read Hagrid's name, I said, "Awww." It's only been a few months since I first read the series, but I still miss reading about Hagrid! There's just something about him that's so.....endearing, ya know?

Thanks, guys! And by the way, with the Professors and stuff some of it might not be exactly accurate but I'll do my best.
