I am a boa conssstrictor, Alexander.

*evil laugh*

And I am also...

*another evil laugh*

Janelle Parseli. Thank you for all of your politeness towwards me. I appreciate it. To think your group is so pathetic and weak now that you are turning to foxes and snakes, well...that is too good.

I cry out in anger. A traitor. Man, I really messed up. I call out to my bats. They are confused, but I steady them with a hurried explanation. They grab Sina and carry her off. Well, who is relying only on foxes and snakes now?

Such a sad, sad, fate for you animals interfering in the way of business, the way that the world should be run. Why do you continue to interfere? Wouldn't you rather have the weak ones...out of the way?

Listen to the white barred owl! Make peace with us! Such tragedy will be gone if you do.

But alas! One of our animal agents helped to slip that note to that silly owl. And it fell for it. So vulnerable you animals are! So join us in making a stronger, less vulnerable world!

All will be happy.

The scientists led me down a hallway. We paused at a white, square room that was filled with scientists and bottles with colorful liquid in it.

“And here is our stop,” one of the scientists says.

“What am I here for?” I asked.

“Ah! Yes,” another scientist said. “We have been having a problem in the guild.”

“What problem?” I asked suspiciously.

The scientist glanced at one of the guards. “Well, you see, we have been having trouble with spies.”

“Well, what can I do about it? How am I going to help you? Wouldn’t you just have a guard to…,” I choose my words wisely, “take care of them?” I ask.

“Well, none of us who know about it can do anything, really. It is a problem within the walls of the B.I.G. Student Dormitories. We are all too old, you see. What we need is a spy in the dormitories and classes. Just to monitor what is going on, and be a part of the classes, so nobody really knows about who or what we are trying to find. Do you understand what I am saying so far?” the scientist asked.

“Yes, but how can I help you?” I asked, very confused.

“Yes, well, this is where you come in!” the scientist exclaimed excitedly. “You see, we have created a new serum, which can turn you into anything. We used your DNA sequence and traits to specialize the serum into making you human! You are young in fox years, or still in your youth, so you are perfect for the job. Take the serum, and you will be transformed into one!”

I looked at them. Should I? Well, maybe if I spied in one extra place, it could help the Animals. I needed to see this as an opportunity.

“Alright. Where is the serum?”

“Here you go,” the scientist said as he told me to open my mouth to feed me the serum.

As soon as I swallowed, my entire body tingled. I felt myself growing taller and my limbs stretching. When it all stopped, I looked down and saw a human. Not a fox. A guard carried a huge mirror over to me. I looked in it. I had curly auburn hair with hazel eyes. I had pale skin and freckles, and I had a ragged brown dress on. It was ugly. The scientist saw me looking at it with disgust.

“Oh, I almost forgot!” he said. He then handed me a white lab coat and other clothes. “More of your clothing for the next few weeks will be in your dorm room.” He handed me a slip of paper. “This paper gives you information as to your dorm and the class you will be taking. Your new name and age is in here. You are 13 years old, and you name is...let’s see, what does it say here?” He looks down at the paper and furrows his brow. “There we go. Your name is Amethyst. But you like to go by Ama. Also, there is an antidote when we turn you back to human, just to let you know.”

“Thank you,” I said.

“Of course!” he replied. “You can change over here.” He pointed to a dressing room.

After I came out, he told me to be off.

I walked down the hallway, a bit confused at what just happened. I was fascinated by my new arms, however. But I needed to focus. I had to get my job done.

No. Nooooooooo. You have just ruined the whole mission. When you were a fox, you could sneak around. Now, escape is impossible. They have probably destabilized the inner structure of your dna, causing probable mutation/rapid evolution. Also, the statistical chance of catching a mutated virus is increased by 79% exactly. This is very bad. Also, the probable corruption of your mental capacity to accept outside stimuli is very dangerous. In "English" that means you will probably go insane. So, uh, yea, fairly awful.

So now you want to ask how I know that. Well, I have come from a family of bat scientists, so I learned a thing or two.

But more importantly, I need to get you to the BIG labs. My plan, to break in, steal the Dna Structural Mutation Serum (what they gave you), do some brilliant stuff, and become human. From now on we must go on the BIG thread. My name will be Oswald. And do not worry. Statisticly speaking, there is a 47% chance that you will die sooner while having dangerously formulated geneticly altering serum and worrying at the same time. So, uh meet you there Amethyst.

Oswald, oh gosh, will meet you soon on the BIG thread.

And the antidote will not cure the bad effects, only make them stronger. 3791% percent stringer, in fact.

I walk down the halways of BIG hq. Many rooms are closed off. But I know where I need to go. I walk towards the dormatories, then duck into a closet. Grabbing a trench coat, a suit jacket and a pair of goggles, I walk out again. I even have a Hello, my name is Oswald tag. I wait for about an hour. Then Ameythist walks out. Well. I am not sure. When I made the Serum for myself, I left in my bat eyesight and hearing, useful for spying. But Amethyst had a badly made serum, so anything is possible. After signing in at the gates, I walked right in. I had even stolen a list of students and classes. Good. My plan was in action.

"Hello," I say to the human. "What's your name?"

"Alexander? Is that you?" the human asks.

"Shhhhhh," I reply. "Meet me in that coat closet at midnight. I have a human laptop there, as well as fruit. I am only eating fruit. See, I made my own serum, so I have bat eyesight and hearing, as well as only eating fruit and, of course, not slowly mutating. So meet me at the closet, and I will try to not be late. Also, why do you look so weird. I have seen humans before, but you look different somehow. BIG scientists. How can they change animals to humans if they do not even know half of human dna?"

Another human walks out. "Ama, come on, we have got to get to science. It is in the genetic modification lab today."

Amethyst says, "Are you in that class?"

I reply, "Oh, yes."

As we walk down the hallway, I tell her the plan. "You need the teacher to get you in trouble. Have only us two and him in the lab. We knock him out, tie him up, make the serum, and go. I would have you stay here, but you will die unless you can get out."

Amethyst nods.

(Note from author: Nutmeg, please, please, please say that I correctly wrote your part. I needed to tell you the info, and there was no other way. And please forgive me putting your charecter in danger, but I will get you out. Please forgive me.)

Wait, Nutmeg. You should just wait outside the lab door while I knock out the teacher. That way you can stay in BIG and not become a mutant.

I sit in a chair next to Alexan-Oswald. Fifteen minutes into class and I am already itching, because I have no idea what this teacher is talking about!
Remember the plan, I think to myself. I have to get in trouble....

I shove Oswald a bit.

"What are you doing?" Oswald whispers/exclaims.

"Just go along with it," I hiss.

He seems to know what I am going at. He shoves me back and raises his voice.

"How's that for a taste of your own medicine?"

"Oh yeah?" I shout back, becoming even louder. I shove him back harder.

The teacher evnetually breaks us up.

"I would like to see you two after class," he huffs.

When the teacher's back is turned, I nod slightly at Oswald. Everything is going to plan.

Don't worry, I'll be fine. I have a bit of my bacl story I would rather not share, but if it keeps you from freaking out....

To be honest, I am a genetically altered fox. I am not normal. My immune system is stronger, and I can take on most pain. I have other stuff that I don't even know about yet. So who knows? I may turn into a mutant, I may not. I said in my backstory before that I was captured by B.I.G. before I became a double agent. I'm really one of the only ones who survived the stronger experiments and stayed...kind of.... normal. I don't know where the other experiments are, but they are probably working for B.I.G. as mutants.

And Alexander, you aren't putting me into danger, really, so that's fine.

After class, the teacher calls us to him.

"Now, to discuss your beha-"

But before he can finish, Oswald reaches over and knocks him out.

"Really?" I say. "You just had to knock him out before he could even finish."

"Well," Oswald (I guess I can call him Alexander now.) "We needed the plan to go through."

"Yeah, okay," I say.

We tie him up, put him in the closet, and file out of the classroom.

"So what's next?" I ask.
