Faerage Delert: Special

Faerage Delert: Special Mission, Apply Now! (R.P.)

If you are B.I.G., do not read this.  I am Echo, a fae spy.  I recently pretended to be B.I.G. for spying sake.  Please help me on a special mission.  B.I.G. is ruthless, but I have found a way to defeat them.  The Faerage Delert is a seclusive half-dragon, half-fae.  It is our answer.  They live on the Luna Islands.  I gave B.I.G. the wrong island.  We must find and talk to the Faerage Delert, the last of it's kind.  It has all the secrets of the world.  Send an application now!  Help me!  (This is a R.P. once I have 8 other applicants.

Also, Echo is not supposed to be that bad.  Everyone has twisted her!  Her temper isn't THAT bad and she is nice.

Echo~

I buried my face in my hands.  "I give up."  I run up the nearby mountain, faster than the wind.  No one can catch me when I'm going as fast as I can.  I hurl myself off the top of the mountain.  "Goodbye,"  I whisper to the wind.  "Goodbye,"  I whisper to everything.  As soon as I hit the ground I black out.  Forever...

Oh my goodness, I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo sorry, Echo! I didn't mean to twist you, and I didn't know how bad your temper was when you wrote, so I made it how I thought you said it. I am truly sorry and hope that you forgive me. I'll try to understand you better from here on out.

Your friend (I hope!),

It is totally fine.  No big deal.  Of course, go on without me, because I killed off my charrie.

No. We won't let you do that, Echo. You're our leader. We need you alive. Rajjk made a story where you ended up alive because you have a rare fae spirit that is (kind of) immortal. All you have to do is change to one body or object, then imagine your own body unhurt, and you will return to your true form. Tell us if you don't like this please.

I completely agree with Kathleen and Rajjk. We can't do anything without you because you have the skills of a leader, which we don't. Also in the Rules it says that all conflicts must be resolved peacefully. If you kill yourself off, that isn't resolving it peacefully because that makes us VERY sad. The way I see it is:

a) You can invent your own explanation for surviving or something like that. We carry on.

b) You stay dead. We can't carry on. We fail. BIG wins.

You see, Echo,  you're like the keystone in our bridge. Everything rests on you. If you are removed, the whole bridge crumbles.

Sorry, Echo!Embarassed

Ronan--- I felt awful. The tree had been cut down, and Echo had thrown herself off a cliff. My neck-length hair was still dripping from the salad dressing, and Echo was almost certainly dead. Kathleen had twisted her ankle, and the man had cut my peg-leg in two with his chain-saw. Serafina and Raina were determined to find Echo, and had left us. Tears silently slipped down my face. Delilah didn't say anything. Kathleen looked at me. "Don't worry," she said. "Echo'll be alright." "No she won't," I replied. "It was me who crashed through the window. It was me who scared you. It was me who yelled at Echo. It's all my-" Just then, Serafina and Raina came into the wooden hut, carrying a limp, dirty figure. It was Echo. She opened her eyes. "Ronan," she said. "I'm sorry..." "No," I said, tears coming to my eyes. "It was me."                                                                        "It was me."

I limped inside the small house to see that Echo had forgiven Ronan. Good. That girl was the bravest and strongest I had ever known. Who else could have survived a fall from a cliff? I was proud to be her friend.

"Um...guys?" I spoke, alerting the others to my presence. "Um-well-ah. It's no one's fault. You see..." and I began to tell my story. What had happened to me last night.

"You see," I began, "the reason that scientist was here wasn't because of any of you. It wasn't your fault. It was mine. I put you all in danger, and I am so so sorry. I did something wrong."

Echo looked up limply. "But you can't have, Kathleen. It's all okay. We're all alive, and-"

"No." I interupted. "No. I lied to you all of you. I acted like everything was okay. it's not. I'm not okay. My parents wern't killed accidentally. They were murdered. Their killer tried to kill me too! i was scared and-well-it's all my fault!"

I hid my face in my hands, and for the first time in waht seemed like weeks, i started to cry.

I felt a cooling hand touch my back.

"Echo, no! You know what happens if you get up before your tree is ready!" Serafina chided. "We can't afford to lose you."

"I know," Echo said gently. "But Kathleen-everybody-needs to know this. I'm sorry I got upset. Well-not upset-angry. It's just-well B.I.G. is after me. This morning I receved a threat. That they would make me do something. Something that would break up-well the team. They said it would make me angry. Today. In town."

"Wait..." Rajjk drawled. "Something's wrong."

"Yeah," Ronan followed. "Miss Serafina-"

"Just Serafina please," Serafina asked "I'm not THAT scary."

"Are there any charms that make people act-you know-weird?"

"Well-"

Raina cut in, "Curcumstine makes you scared, allanthane makes you happy, gergtha makes you angry-"

"Hold up!" I cried. "How are these legal?"

"They're not," Serafinasaid grimly.

"Then that's it!" Ronan and I cried at the same time. "Oops," he laughed, "you go."

"No," I said, "we'll go together. Alright..."

I felt as if all the sorrow in the world had lifted off me. I wanted to laugh, cry, and run in a circle yelling "SUPERCALLIFRAGILISTICEXPEALIDOCIUS!!!" all at the same time. But instead, I decided to fix a salad to replace the one I'd knocked to the ground. We sat on the dirt floor of Echo's dugout watching Serafina plant an oak seed into the ground and the seed growing and growing and growing. As I gave a plate to Kathleen, I saw Serafina arrive, her brow sweaty from the hard piece of magic she'd done. "Peg-leg all right?" she asked. Serafina had used Rezzairo magic to repair my peg-leg. "Yep," I replied. "Want some salad?" "Yes, please!" was Serafina's reply. "You know," she said as she sat down, "it might be a good thing that you almost got broken up. A long time ago, we had a bad war with some other fae. A team of our finest diplomats had to go to see the other side to make a peace treaty. Just before the quest, an elder gave the diplomats a sprig of zummel, a very rare, very powerful herb. The diplomats fought over it. The arguement nearly tore them limb from limb. They resolved it eventually, but if they hadn't nearly fallen out, they probably wouldn't have as much of a strong bond. Strong bonds are important to a quest. It's much harder without them."  That sounded good to me, but then, I was so optimistic, what wouldn't?
