Oo The Secret Series. The books are really good. I can't believe they made an actual song from the homunulus's tune.

Wait a second . . .

As several CBers try to figure out the answer, I notice Cho Chang approaching the couple. She says something, and curiosity makes me wander over to them. The woman replies with today's date, and I'm about to leave, when the answer is revealed~ The Cabbage Face song. For some reason, I peek back at the couple, who now seem vaguely familiar. Then it hits me. The lady has some laugh lines, and I wonder if a person like her would even laugh. Trying not to be so obvious, I take a quick glance at their hands.

The woman isn't wearing gloves, and neither is the man. As a matter of fact, neither of them seem to be stunningly good looking. The woman is pretty, in a vague sort of way, but her boyfriend or husband seems to be an average joe.

I ask them what their names are, where we're located, and who's the president.

You and Bibliophile approach the couple and ask their names. The woman says, "I'm Delia." The man says, "Call me Tom," and shakes both of your hands. They ask your names and you say Scylla and Bibliophile.

Delia says, "Scylla, that's a beautiful name."

Tom grins and says, "A book lover, huh? You'd get along well with my aunt Ellanore. She's the town librarian."

You ask where you are.

"Right by the Blue Moon Ice Cream shop. It's right there, see? Best ice cream in town," says Tom while pointing at the shop.

You clarify by asking which town.

Delia's brow wrinkles, "I don't know what you mean."

Tom says, "It's the the Town."

You ask who the president is.

"What's a president?" both of them ask.

You explain it as someone who rules over the country. They don't seem to understand very well.

"What is a country?" Delia asks.

You say that it's a place you can live in.

The two confer with each a little, and then turn to you, still confused.

"I don't think there is a president. Why would we need one?"

Delia smiles sadly. "I'm sorry we weren't any more help."

Odd upon strange, I murmur to myself. "What was that?" Delia inquires. "Nothing of matter. Bibliophile, we should get going..." I gather my files and stand, beckoning to my friend. But something stops me. I wasn't thinking deeply about the music when I played it, just reading the notes... Reading the notes! That's it! I whip out the paper with the music on it. "Biblio, I think I'm onto something.... See the notes?" She nods. "Well, this may work. There are very few words that can be made with musical notes, but I have a good feeling about this one..." She looks at the paper, reading: "C-A-B-B-A-G-E-F-A-C-E. Cabbage Face. Hmm, feels familiar..."

"I've never heard of it," I mutter. "Cabbage Face. Cabbage Face? What does it mean... Is it a riddle? Code? Cypher?" I sigh. "I've been reading too much Copernicus Legacy. Biblio, any thoughts?"

People are saying it says Cabbage Face. So, the answer must be If You're Reading This It's Too Late. I read and enjoyed those books a little.

"C-A-B-B-A-G-E-F-A-C-E. Cabbage face..." I mutter, running my fingers over the notes, pretending I am playing the melody on my violin. "If You're Reading This It's Too Late," I burst out.

"Reading what?" the woman asks pleasantly.

I ignore her. "From The Secret Series. Katy, can you verify?"

While Cho and the others approach the couple, I walk in front of them, checking out the railing and the view.

The railing seems to be made out of iron. It's been painted over in green, but it hasn't had a fresh coat in a little while, so the seaward side is a bit worn off.

The body of water does appear to be an ocean as the air smells somewhat salty like it does near the ocean. There's a slight breeze.

The sky is full of clouds but has a bright patch of blue to the far east. The waves are not very choppy and roll smoothly against a bank of rocks which the railing seems to be sitting on. The ocean is about eight feet below you.

In the far off distance is an island with a house on it and a few trees.
