How did I miss that? Well, the suspect list is down to three people: Thirty, Agent Winter, and Sam. I am thinking it’s one of the AEs.

What’s a little creepy is that I was just thinking earlier that if I had to die, I’d want to be unconscious, and then I read Day 11 (I think) and realized that that was how I died. Interesting.

DAY 13 (aaaaaaa it's almost over! HUWHAAAAT?!?!)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Seeing as that day was the last full day of vacation, the small group decided to have as much fun as possible. Even Gracia decided to join the fun; she and Winter had made plans to go to the pool together. Byann was scheming a very distructive plan involving stolen junk food, the bounce house he deflated, and the zoo. Sam thought she might try the zip line. Thirty was indecisive. She stepped in an elevator, pondering where to go. She pressed the number three to see where it took her. The moment the elevator doors closed, however, Thirty heard a loud and ominous thunk, then the elevator plummeted.
The others heard her screams and tried to go up, make it stop, anything, but to no avail. The murder so early in the morning was somewhat shocking to some of them; the murderer, however, was just surprised her trap had been set off so quickly.
Trying not to let the murderer put a hold on their fun, the four last guests went on with what they had planned to do. Sam was shocked at how fun the zip line was. In fact, she stayed there for the rest of the morning. Gracia had fun for the first time in a long time. She and Winter had an epic splashing fight; Winter ended up using Gracia's doughnut floatie, which was entertaining if you weren't Gracia. Byann "decorated" the hallways with broken Cheetos and M&Ms- don't ask me why.
After a hurried lunch, everyone dispersed; Winter heard that Avengers: Infinity War was playing, so she ran off to see it; Gracia headed for the trampoline park; Sam went to the arcade. Byann, hadn't finished his master plan- he still needed to go to the zoo. He wanted to try and feed the monkeys his bounce house. Why he wanted to do that is beyond me, but anyways. To get to the monkeys, he had to go through a small room containing small cages with porcupines and such. He bounded across the room, grinning evilly from ear to ear. Unfortunately, he did not see the tripwire on the ground, so he stepped on it. That triggered a small flame to ignite and the door to seal itself shut, as it had done with Viola and Gem. Inconveniently, the whole room was made out of wood.
~
Gracia, who had decided she better check and make sure Byann hadn't blown anything up, discovered what had happened to him. It wasn't the best way to end vacation: hearing of someone dying by being set on fire. Nick had joined them for their final dinner together. Gracia thanked him for inviting them. Sam and Winter followed suit, then went to bed.
The murderer seethed with rage; they wanted something very simple. It had never come. No matter. It would teach them for next time...
RIP, Thirty and Byann.
Huh. Two suspects left. I think it’s Sam, personally.
LAST DAY:
~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Huh. Maybe it shouldn't have been called a two week vacation since today isn't really a full day," mused Winter as she ate her fourth doughnut.

"Well, I suppose you have a point," sighed Nick, "but right now you need to go pack your things. You'll be leaving soon. The three girls- Gracia, Winter, and Sam- obediently filed into an elevator.

"Kind of strange, isn't it... to think that one of us is a murderer," Gracia wondered.

"And it could be you," Sam said.

"Or it could be you," Winter shot back at her AE. They packed quickly, then met back in the lobby. Nick was waiting for them.

"Well, I hope you had at least some fun," he mumbled.

"We did!" Gracia exclaimed. The other two agreed. Nick beamed at them.

The murderer took a deep breath. "It's time I confessed," she started. Her CBer swung around and stared at her.

"SAM! How could you?!" she thundered.

"I didn't do it for no good reason," she pointed out, trying to sound innocent. "I'm sorry I had to resort to murder to try and penetrate that thick skull of yours." Winter narrowed her eyes.

"And I didn't do it alone, either," Sam continued. "No, I had plenty of help from that dear Eva." Nick's jaw dropped.

"No. You're lying!"

"How else do you think I trapped organized chaos?" Nick bit his lip and reached for a walkie-talkie.

"Eva, come down to the lobby as soon as possible." Sam smirked.

"Anyways... Sam. You said you had a reason. What was it?" Implored Gracia.

"Oh... well, Winter goes on these vacations all the time, and sometimes she'll bring me. What she doesn't know, however, is that I hate... HATE... going on them! So, when she ignored me when I suggested going home after the first few people I killed, I kept going, in the hopes that she would come to her senses. Unfortunately... Winter has no senses." Winter goggled at her.

"And you never thought to ask Nick or someone else you knew to take you home?" Winter demanded. Sam turned Ruby red. Gracia groaned. Right at that moment, Eva came out of an elevator.

"Eva! Sam here, who admitted to being the murderer, says you worked with her! Explain yourself," Nick spat. Eva looked on the verge of tears.

"Oh Dad, please understand, she was going to kill me, I said I couldn't, but- but-" she sobbed.

"Hold up. Did she just call you Dad?!" Winter asked. Nick glowered at Eva.

"Yes. Eva is my daughter," whispered Nick. "And what us more... both her mother and her sister were murdered. I cannot express how crushed I am, Eva."

"You know what? This is crazy. I'm breaking out the jiu jitsu gi!" Winter announced wildly.

"Oh no, that will not be necessary," Nick assured her hastily. "I... I think you all should head out now."

And so, with Winter glaring at Sam and Gracia leading them awkwardly, they exited the hotel and found a jet waiting to take them home. Gracia tried to start conversations about Eva being Nick's daughter, but they were too busy glaring at each other, so they sat in silence.

Gracia's depression had vanished, somehow. She was just happy to be going home. She hadn't lied when she told Nick she had had fun, though... there were some good days. Doing crafts. Playing an arcade game with Fireburst. Swimming at the beach.

At least she was thinking these thoughts when Sam threw a knife at her.

Winter screamed at her. But she had forgotten that Sam had a second knife. Sam sighed.

"Oh, Izzy will be pleased  to hear about this," she mused.

Izzy, by the way, is Eva's sister's killer.

The end... until my next ski lodge.

WOAH.

That was insanely good. I finally got an opportunity to get on Cricket, and I'm too happy I did. That was a twist I never expected. I'll be at your next Ski Lodge, definitely.

The narrator, while opposed to stating things such as, must agree. The stunning end to this Ski Lodge was one to be savored, such as a--

...She likes it too.

Aah, I missed so much! Now everybody's dead. That went really fast. Congratulations on finishing! It was so cool! I thought Agent Winter was the murderer, but it actually makes sense for it to be Sam...

^^ thanks, everyone! Be on the lookout for a treehouse mystery ski lodge. Everything- Eva's mother and sister, the weird part where Sam mentions Izzy- it'll all make sense, after some suspenseful clues, swimming in a lake, and a whole lot of murder.

Some secrets about the making of this ski lodge:

I am actually reading Micearenice's Lake Lellio ski lodge, which inspired me to write one myself.

When I was choosing the murderer, I was on the long car ride home from vacation, and I selected them by running my fingers over a piece of paper with the names of all the participants. My finger originally landed on Thirty, but then I realized that she would just narrate herself while she was murdering people, so I did it again and it was Sam.

I didn't actually plan for Gracia and Winter to die, or that the two ski lodges would be connected at all- it popped into my head as I was writing the last day.

Byann and Thirty lived so long because they were such fun characters to write about.
