Tray-

I glared at Hades. "We're here cause we need your help. Do you know about the-" Hades cut me off. "The prophecy my stupid brother's Oracle made up?" Jenifer looked like she was going to explode with anger. I really wished Hades would shut up. "Yes, that one, we need help with it. Can you give us a clue?" I asked. He grabbed my shoulder, and pain flew through me. "Owwwww! STOP IT!" I shouted. Now horrible images were passing through my mind. A few were particularly horrible. My friends lying dead on a dark island surrounded by a river of blood. Then I was surrounded by dead. I could pick out few faces, Chiron, Sam, Jenifer, Jason, Nell, Rachel, and a couple of others whose names I didn't know, but faces I recognized. "STOP IT!" I shouted again, pain in my voice. "Stop!" Jason shouted. Hades let go. I felt like I was going to pass out, and I fell. Jason caught me. "Tray, your room, NOW!" Hades growled. Jason helped me up, and I limped away after Hades. I looked back at my friends, my black eyes full of pain. Having a room in Hades castle was not a great thing. It was dark, and hot, and the walls were black and gross. Plus I shared the room with Nico my half brother, so it wasn't private either. "What do you think you were doing?!" Hades spat. "I was thinking you could help us!" I snapped. He looked angry. "I can't! And you know that!" he barked. I glared. "Well, I figured, since you don't really care, you'd be willing to break the rules to help us!" I shouted. Hades was definitely angry now. "Fine. What I can tell you is that Zeus's kid is going to lead you into a trap, and that the final blow Poseidon's kid is going to strike will save her sister's life," he finished. I knew something was missing. "What about me?" I asked. "I cannot tell you that. That is the only thing I am not able to tell you," he said. I thought I heard regret in his voice. "Why?" "Because the gods would not allow me to know your fate. They said if I knew, I would try to change it." I was starting to feel uneasy. "Go tell your friends, and remember what I told you." I walked out of the room and to my friends. They looked concerned. "Tray, are, are you ok?" Jason asked. I nodded. "Fine." "What did Hades tell you?" he asked. So I told them. Everything.

I breathed in and stepped forward. "Lord and Uncle, we come in peace. We need your assistance in this quest, and you and the lovely Queen Persephone are known for being helpful and generous deities." Persephone fanned her self dismissivly, but she was obviousely pleased by the compliment. "Husband, we must be rational, all these children want is help." He raised his hand. "I have not told them if I would help them. Now, what do you need, worthless heroes." I told him our story, and he listened quitely, nodding and waving his hand to continue the story faster. "So, we need your help to get to the Titan's lair." He stroked his chinn, I couldn't say that his naked face had any hair on it, and told us what he would do.

Tray-

I was so angry at my dad I couldn't stop crying. Jason came over and put his arm around me. "It's ok. We're still fine. It's not like we have no hope. Even if Hades didn't help us, other people can. "Wait!" My head shot up. "He did help us!" I shouted. Happiness surged through me. "No he didn't. It was a rip off," Jenifer said. I glared. "Yes he did!" I glared. But I was so happy the glare only lasted about three secconds. "He told me what some of the prophecy meant when he told me to go with him to my room!" They looked confused so I told them what Hades had told me about the prophecy. "Wait, what about you?" Jason asked. "Hades said the gods wouldn't tell him." I glanced at Jenifer. She shrugged, but I could tell she was worried. "So captain Jen, where to next?" I asked grinning broadly. 

//Jenifer//

I watched Tray crying and cursing at her father. Jason walked up to comfort her, and I felt a stifle of jealousy. Tray shot up like a rocket. "Wait, he did help us!" I rolled my eyes, "Uh, no he didn't." She glared at me. "Yes, he did! He explained part of the prophecy! He said that you, Jen, would lead us into a trap." My face got red hot, but I ducked it so no one could see it. "He also said that Sam would try and save Nell from certain death, and that Jason would help dramatically in the end." I stood up. "Great. I'm loving your dad more every minute." She walked towards me so we were face to face. "Well, Captain Jenifer, where to next?" She glared her dark black eyes and the ground rumbled. My hair sparked and thunder clouds covered the San Francisco sky. "Girls, stop it!" Jason came and pushed us away from each other.

Tray-

I was so angry that the ground wouldn't stop rumbling. Jason pushed us away, and I couldn't help but notice that he looks really cute when he's annoyed. My eyes were pitch black and full of hatred. Jason shot me a glance, and the rumbling subsided. My black eyes didn't. I glared at her, she glared back. Nell and Sam looked apsolutly terrified. "Well at least you think your dad helped us. I think he's lying," Jenifer said. I glared. "And why do you think that? Oh, because you think your so perfect you can't mess up?" I asked. Anger boiled in her eyes. Her face was turning red, and thunder began to rumble again. I grinned. "What about you? Daughter of Hades? You've been lying to everyone this whole time! Even to Chiron because of your amazing dad. Go ahead Tray, or should I say, Thanantos? Tell everyone about your dad telling you to SPY on everyone to see who was untrustworthy. Tell everyone where you really got that necklace!" she shouted. I was going to explode. Jenifer had told everyone my secret! My dad was right, I could never trust anyone. Not even my friends. I remembered something my mom used to say to me. Those closest to you are the ones who can kill you the worst. They know all your secrets, only they can ruin you totally. "Do you even want me here?" I asked. "What?" Sam asked, I could hear the panic in her voice, but I didn't care. "Do you want me here at all? Because I'll go! I'll go right now! I'll take everything I know, and my backpack and I'll leave!" Nell's eyes got huge. "Fine! Go! You're nothing but extra baggage anyway." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. My black eyes were full of anger and hatred. "FINE!" I shouted. The ground shook violently. I snatched up my backpack and started to turn. "Tray wait!" Sam shouted. "What?!" I snapped. "Don't leave! We want you here!" Jason shouted, he sounded desperate. I was too mad to care. "It's too late for that." I spat. "The leader has already spoken. She wants me out, I'm gone!" I snarled. The shock on their faces was too much. I turned around and stormed off. About 5 miles from the campsite I realized I needed a better way to get around. I whistled and Shadow showed up. "Come on boy, take me to--" I stopped. Where was I supposed to go? Jenifer was the leader. She had made the decisions. I wished I could go back, but I knew I couldn't. Jen had kicked me out, and I couldn't go back. Then shock and realization came to me. This was my choice! This is my part in the prophecy. Stay hidden, and away from them, or go back? I looked at Shadow and decided I'd decide later. "Take me to, take me to Waco, Texas." While I was gone, I might as well stir things up. Make it harder for them. I knew that the Apollo was usualy down there, and sometimes Zeus went on vacation there. I might as well get Jenifer's emotions messed up. Maybe I could even get Zeus to marry again. I was such an idiot. Oh well, they'd just have to deal with it.

Jason sat down on a rock and looked at the ground. Nell and Sam walked towards a pond and spoke with some lost fish. I hastily began to pack up our things into a sack. "Come on guys, chop chop, we've lost ground going to the Underworld and we need to make it to the Titan's lair. I tossed a backpack onto Jason's lap and he shouldered his bow. "What about Tray?" He asked glumily. "She's part of the quest." I glared at him. "Tray chose to leave. She chose to trust her dad. It was her fault all this happened. Now we need to cover twice as much ground as we would have before, we need to get moving. Nell, Sam, come on, we're leaving." I grabbed my sword and bow and prayed to the gods one last time. We didn't need her. She was just extra baggage. An extra mouth to feed, that's all. I trudged through the fall mud ahead from everyone else. Jason ran up behind me an whipered in my ear, "You'll need her more than you know, Jen." I stifled a tear but forged ahead, it was going to rain soon and netiher of us had eaten in days. Soon the smell of fired food and sweaty bikers reached our noses, and we entered the parking lot of a diner, filled with bikers throwing glasses and rooting for varios sport teams. I reached into my backpack and pulled out $20. "Come on, know what you're going to get, I have an uneasy feeling about this place." I turned out that nothing was wrong with it, just food so greasy that it would have given a healt inspecter a heart attack. We each ordered a Jumbo Meal, a duble decker cheese burger with everything on it, a large shake, and an order of fries. The whole thing cost less than  $15 dollars, though I gave the chash register lady the whole wad anyways. We sat outside on the curb after some of the guys got into a fist fight. I ended up eating the whole meal I was so hungy, and I fell asleep on Jason's shouldor, crying.

Tray-

I got off Shadow by a restaurant. It was a greasy fast food place. Tons of greasy pig bikers were parked outside. I was wearing black skinny jeans, black and white converse, and a gray hoodie. The hoodie was open showing my navy blue t-shirt  underneath. The hood was pulled over my head because it was raining. I didn't know where I was, but I was hungry and Shadow was tired. I walked into the restaurant. I walked up to the bar and said to the bartender "Cheeseburger and a glass of water." She rolled her eyes and walked through a door to the back. It took her about 10 secconds to get the stuff. I took a bite out of the burger and was chewing it when I saw the bartender's eyes turn huge with fear. She took a step back. "Out. Now," a man's voice growled. The lady stumbled but ran back through the door. I tried not to panic. My eyes turned black. "You, girl, I need to talk to you." I turned around and groaned. "What do you want with me, Ares?" I asked. Ares' cold eyes glared. "I want you to help me." I laughed. "Me? Help you?" I laughed harder. "Are you kidding me? No way!" Ares grinned. I stopped laughing. "I knew you'd say that." He grabbed my arm. "OWWWW! Hey! Let, go!" I yelled. Two big guys with knives came over and folded their arms in front of Ares. "You giving this kid trouble?" Their voices were deep. "No, why?" I asked. "Hey, kid, stay out of this," the bigger one said. "No." He walked up and Ares let go of my arm. Great. I was going to have to deal with them all by myself. "Kid, we said, 'Don't get in the middle.'" "Why? Scared a little girl's gonna get in the middle of your bulk?" I asked, snickering. "That's it punk, you're going down!" the biggest guy shouted. He aimed a punch at me but I dodged. I punched him in the mouth. He stood up in shock but punched harder. That one hit my arm. It felt like it'd been broken. I tried to ignore the pain. I kicked with all my might. It hit him square in the chin. There was a bone-shattering crack, and I knew I'd broken his jaw. The other one grabbed his friend and ran. "Nice kid. You've got style. I might just think about liking you," Ares said. "Wow, such a nice comment. But still, what do you want with me?" Ares grinned. "Zeus said you'd do me a favor if I asked, so, I want you to go back to that campsite and tell Zeus's kid that Nick's back. And I want you to stay." I was confused. "What? No way." Ares eyes glowed red and I knew if I didn't say yes he'd vaporize me. "Fine! Fine, I will." "Good, good-bye Tray." Then he was gone. I shivered. I walked outside. Shadow was asleep. "Come on boy, we need to go back to the campsite." In no time we were at a dinner somewhere in LA. Everyone was waking up. "Tray?" Sam asked groggily. "Tray!" Jason yelled. He ran up and hugged me. I smiled and laughed a little. Then Jenifer walked up and my smile faded. "Why are you back?" she asked. "Ares came to me." I saw a flash of jealousy in her eyes. Every god was visiting me, and only Zeus visited her, and only once. "He told me to come back here. Oh and he also told me to tell you: Nick's back." Jenifer went pale. I didn't know who Nick was, but obviously she did.

Nell~

"Nick?" I ask.  "No, don't ask," Jenifer says.  Jason zones out, then comes back to life.  "That guy?" he asks.  Jenifer nods.  Jason shivers. 

Tray grimaces.  "This Nick person sounds bad, so we should..." she starts. 

"Run!" Sam runs to the campfire screaming.  She had gone into the woods on a hunch a few minutes ago.  "My hunch was right!!" she shouts.  "Here?!" I shout.  She nods.  "I know, it's impossible but..."

We all run.  "If this is what I think it is, Nick is the least of our worries," Jason says.

Nell~

I look behind me as I run.  "We're outnumbered!" I scream.  There's at least fourty of them.  I pull out my sword.  "If we get their leader, they'll go away!" Jason yells.  I try to thrust my sword through the beast who looks like he's in charge.  It goes right through him, without evaporating.  "Houston, we have a problem."

(No one knows who Nick is except Jenifer. Jason doesn't either.) 

Tray-

I ran as fast as I could. I tripped on a tree root and landed hard. I yelled out, "OWWW!" in pain. I remembered my broken arm, it had hit the ground first. "Tray!" I heard Jason's voice. I tried to get up but the pain was to much. I remember being shoved aside by someone, or something before I blacked out.
When I woke up my head was in Jason's lap. There was a fire and two girls arguing in the backround. I sat up. "Tray? Are you ok?" Jason asked. I rubbed my head. "Ya fine." I moved my arm. It felt ok, not as bad as before. "Nectar and Amubrosa," Nell explained. "Used a lot of it on you after Jason saved your life. Jason blushed. "It was nothing." I turned and hugged him. "It was amazing!" I let go. "Without you I'd be dead right about now!" We laughed. Then Jenifer came back with firewood and it was dead quiet. "Glad to be back on your feet?" she asked. "Ya, what's it to you?" I snapped. She looked a tad bit hurt. "Bet you're glad Jason here saved you from those things?" What was she playing at? This was normal talk. What was she up to? I nodded. "Ya. What about Nick, Jen? Anything about him lately?" I knew I'd hit a nerve. She went pale and thunder rumbled in the distance. "Well you'll be glad to know that I think I've found him." "Umm, who is him exactly?" Sam asked. "Ya, who is Nick? I think he souds like a cool guy." Jason's voice was confident. Jenifer glared. "He's not!" she snapped. "He happens to be-" She was cut off by a skeletal hand coming out of the ground. "What the?!" Jason shouted. By now the whole thing was out. It was a skeleton dressed in Revolutionary War gear. American side. He spoke with a British accent which I thought was weird. "Are you Tray Martin?" he asked. "Who wants to know?" I asked. The skeleton glared, if that was actually possible for a dead corpse. "My master," he said. "Well who is your master?" I asked. "My master Sir. Kronos." We gasped. "No way! Are you kidding me? You can't just waltz on in here, demand who I am, then tell me you work for Kronos and expect me to answer!" That was crazy talk! No way was I telling this thing anything about me! "If she is, will you take us to the Titan's Lair?" Jenifer asked. "JEN!" I whispered urgently. This was no time to ruin my life! I'd rather not visit Tartus! "Yes," he, or actually it replied. "Then yes! She is Tray Martin!" The thing grabbed my neck and pulled, bringing me down with him. "JENIFER!" I shouted. Anger pulsed through my veins and out through my voice. My eyes were pitch black and angry. "Jenifer! We can't just let him take her!" Jason shouted. The skeleton grabbed my foot and pulled me down faster, leaving my hands free. "Jen! Jason! Sam, Nell! Someone help me!" I shouted. Jenifer kept them all back. I realised what she wanted now. This was how we were getting into the Titan's Lair! By using me as bait! Jen was so smart but so annoying at the same time. "Jenifer!" Jason shouted. Nell struggled and Sam looked like she was going to faint. "No! Just follow me down! Jen grab my arm and I'll pull you down, then Jason, then Nell, then Sam! This is our ticket to the Titan's Lair! Don't you get it?" My voice was rushed. They understood instantly. Jen grabbed my arm. Jason grabbed hers. Nell grabbed his and Sam grabbed Nell's. This was it, we were going to the Titan's Lair.
