The Mad Hatter is one of the most terrifying, creepy villains EVER. And also one of the ones I would most dearly like to hug, because she caking needs a hug. (And I love the way she's treated in the play, especially by Alice, because it's very very obvious that the writers recognized that she's a Complete Monster but also very pitiable and needing-of-hugs. Which is bloody refreshing.)

Also, for the record, this play is fantastic (overly derivative, pop/rocky instrumentals notwithstanding) and really shouldn't have closed so quickly (31 performances, it's almost as bad as Anyone Can Whistle!) and the whole thing is on YouTube and EVERYONE MUST WATCH IT.
